Rabbi Schneider - Soroti, Ushered into Repentance
Rabbi Schneider: I want to close today with the word of repentance to you. How many of us pastors today and how many of you leaders are guilty of preaching the Word of God to your people, but then you're not adequately applying it to your own life? Right now I want to ask, how many of you are feeling God's warning? Bishop John, can I have you come for a moment? Just begin to call out to God right now for mercy and for grace, leading us all through a prayer of repentance.
John Eitu: Yesterday we had a snapshot right deep within our hearts, that the only way to meet with God is first repent; confess your sins. And it's through the confession of our sins that we are able to see God. You saw the response of the people, were really repentant I think. People were crying. People were wailing. People were, of course, speaking back their hearts.
Dorice Oliech: Today I was ushered into repentance. There's some things I've been doing as a leader that are not really showing Jesus Christ in my life and I've repented of that. I'm going back in Kenya a fully transformed person. I'm happy.
