Rabbi Schneider - I WILL NOT Be Afraid
Beloved, As you can see, I'm on the Sea of Galilee, I'm in Israel with my team and I've talked about how Yeshua ministered so many miracles right on the Sea of Galilee. I was in the Book of Matthew during the last message that I preached. It'll be available to you through television and YouTube. And what I talked about was how the sea became outrageously dangerous.
The disciples were panicking, and yet somehow Yeshua was under such a heavy anointing of the Holy Spirit that He was asleep in the boat. The disciples came to Him in panic and shook Him and saying, Lord, don't you see we're perishing? And Yeshua said, Why are you afraid, you men of little faith? The opposite of faith, beloved, the opposite of fear, rather is faith, and the opposite of faith is fear. If you're struggling with fear, know two things.
Number one, you need to resist the fear, you need to warfare against the fear. It cannot be coddled, it cannot be embraced, it cannot be received. You cannot agree with it. Yeshua rebuked it. It has no place in the believer's life. The Lord said, I've not given you a spirit of fear or timidity, but of love and of power and of sound mind. You have to come against it and do it by using the Word of God.
Whatever you're struggling with, find a Scripture in God's Word that directly comes against that fear. For example, if you're afraid of growing old, I said in the episode that I preached, the Lord said, Even when you're old and your hairs are gray, I will not forsake you. For every fear that you have there's a scripture.
And if it's just a general spirit of dread and you don't know what you're afraid of, just rise up and say, Lord, this is not of you. Satan, I reject this spirit of fear. Father, I break it off my life. I choose to believe in You and trust You and rejoice in You, I will trust in You, and be glad Lord, I will not, say it with me I will not, I will not be afraid.
