Rabbi Schneider - God is Supernatural
I remember a scripture that I quoted before, a congregation that I was pastoring close to 30 years ago. When I was trying to encourage them to come into the reality of having a relationship with a super natural God.
You see, by nature, our walk with God should be supernatural. Why should your walk with God be supernatural? Think about this. Why should your walk with God be supernatural? Because God is by definition supernatural. He exist outside of time, outside of space. He is supernatural.
So think about what I just said. In relationship to the Gospel of John Chapter 5:39, Yeshua said to the Pharisees, "You search the Scriptures, because you think in them you have life. Yet the Scriptures testify of me".
"You search the scriptures looking for light", he said, "Yet the Scriptures point you to me. But you refuse to come to me, the living word of God, the living word of God that you might have life".
You see, the Pharisees, they stayed only on the written letter of the word. They continually searched the Scriptures. They were bound to the written letter. But the written word is designed to lead us to the living word. And who and what's the living word? The living word is broken bread from the Father onto us through his Son, Messiah Jesus.
God wants to bring his children into a supernatural relationship with him. He wants us to eat his flesh and drink his blood, that we can truly take on a supernatural quality in our lives by our relationship with him. To be lifted above the world, above the natural, to be in fellowship in union with our supernatural God. Beloved, don't be limited by religion.
