Rabbi Schneider - This Video Will Change Your Life
Shalom ahuvim. Shalom, beloved one. Here's a challenging verse for you and I today. Philippians 4:4. "Rejoice in the Lord always: again I say, rejoice". When do we rejoice? "Rejoice in the Lord always: again," Paul says, "I say, rejoice". What a mirror to hold up in front of our face every day!
Now, joy is not first a feeling. It's an attitude. It's a mindset. It's like I'm going to praise God, I'm going to be happy, I'm going to choose life, I'm going to choose strength, I'm going to choose courage, I'm going to choose confidence, I'm going to choose to praise you, God, I'm going to choose to be happy, not because I feel like it but because you're God and this is what you're worthy of and this is the way that you've called me to live. And the truth is, is that Jesus has risen from the dead, and He has become my victory. Therefore, I will not be afraid of any situation, but I will instead choose to rejoice.
Now, we might have to keep on reminding ourselves of this throughout the day. But I want to encourage you today, and challenge you today in the love of God, to rise up to a level of rejoicing. We don't have to carry around a foul spirit that's discouraged, that's sad. We don't have to carry that thing around. In fact, God wants us to raise up and break it off. And so He's given us revelation of what He wants for us in this word today. Jesus said, "The words that I speak to you they are spirit and they are life".
If you have a vision that you can be happy, and I'm not talking about superficial happiness, I'm talking about coming into agreement with God's word. If you believe that you can rejoice, that in fact it's a command to rejoice, and understand that it's not first about a feeling but it's about an attitude, you can strive to live like this and you could become happier and happier with every year that goes by in your life because you're living life, not based on your circumstances, but based on the reality of the spirit of eternal life that's in you who is a spirit of joy.
So I just want to challenge you today. If you've got a bad attitude, if you're a person that just has a negative attitude almost as a habit, I want to break that off you today. Only you can break it off by coming into agreement with the Holy Spirit. But from my point, I break it off you today in the name of Yeshua. And I command you today, "Rejoice, again I say, rejoice". This is Rabbi Schneider saying to you today I love you. I want to encourage you today. God has called us to rejoice in Him and by the power of the Holy Spirit and because of what Jesus has done, you can do it.
