Rabbi Schneider - Ever Wonder Why You Were Created?

Rabbi Schneider - Ever Wonder Why You Were Created
TOPICS: Rabbi Schneider: Devotions, Seeds of Revelation, Meaning of Life

This is Rabbi Schneider with the word of God coming at you. Beloved, you and I need radical transformation. When I look at the words of Paul in the book of Philippians 2:5-11 and I see how King Jesus how Messiah Yeshua, although He existed in the form of God, as I continue from my last previous teachings on this, although He existed in the form of God, He humbled himself taking on the form of a bond servant to the Father, becoming obedient to the point of death. That is such a challenge to you and I, because what that is teaching us is that you and I must understand that we do not belong to ourselves.

Jesus did not look at his life as His own. He did not look at His life as one which He had rights to choose what He wanted to do based on His own preferences and desires. Rather, Yeshua understood his identity to be one that existed to do the will of the Father. He emptied Himself taking on the form of a bond servant to the Father. What does that mean? He existed for one purpose, to do the father's will. Jesus said in the Gospel of John, that He did nothing except what He saw the Father doing. He said in John, He did nothing by His own initiative.

Beloved, we need to be challenged with this. We need to be electrocuted with this truth. We think that we're in this world to fulfill ourselves. We think that we're here to you know, like it's a vacation on this earth. What can we do to get satisfied? What will we enjoy? That's not the mindset that we ought to have. We ought to develop the mindset of Jesus. Listen what it says, "He humbled Himself taking on the form of a bond servant being made in the likeness of men. He became obedient to the point of death. For this reason, God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name above every name".

I want to ask you, don't you want to let Father God in to circumcise your heart so that you'll understand that your life is not your own, that you'll recognize that you were created to do the Father's will, to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness after which everything else will be added unto you? Beloved, I pray that God circumcises your heart and my heart. We need to be transformed. We need to become more like Messiah Jesus, who didn't consider His own rights, but only look to do the Father's will.
