Rabbi Schneider - How to Perceive Where the Real Battle Takes Place!
I'm gonna read a scripture now that's very familiar to some of us. It's the Book of Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness. Against the spiritual forces of wickeness in the heavenly places". I don't know about you but I've been familiar with that scripture for 42 years. 42 years I've been aware of this statement in the Word of God that my fight is not against flesh and blood, it's not against people, it's not against circumstances, it's against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. But how often have I failed to apply that and walk instead in such a way that I think that my enemy is this circumstance or my enemy is this person?
Beloved we need to warfare into gaining the spiritual sight, revelation, and understanding, to be able to comprehend the fact that our true battle is not against flesh and blood. You see the real battle is not in what's going on, listen now, but it's in the way that we perceive what's going on. That's the whole key. Our battle is not in what is going on, our battle is in the way that we perceive what is going on. Remember when Jesus was before Pilate and Pilate was like why is this man not afraid of me? And Pilate said to Jesus, don't you know that I have the power to crucify you? Why are you not afraid? Why are you not trembling before me? Jesus said, you would have no power over me unless it was given to you from above. Jesus understood that His fight was not against flesh and blood.
I wanna encourage you today as I encourage myself, we need to warfare beyond this low level of fleshly existence in which we think that our battle is in the material world. Beloved, we need to get in touch with the fact that it's our comprehension of what is going on that we need to get revelation in.
So I wanna encourage you today, regardless of what you think or battle is or who you think your battle is with, are you really seeing things through the eye of the Spirit or are you perceiving though the low level of the material realm and of the flesh? The battle isn't really in the material realm. It's the way we're perceiving it. Beloved, God wants to call you and I to the light into the next level of revelation. This is Rabbi Schneider, Father, I pray for each one of us that are hearing this Word declared today, that you would raise us up in Yeshua, giving us a spirit of wisdom and revelation to walk in the light and to walk in your victory for Yeshua's name, Baruch HaShem.
