Rabbi Schneider - God Has Something Great in Store for You
I wanna talk today about a really deep insight that we can gain as we look in the Book of Luke chapter 23. Yeshua's being crucified, He had two criminals next to Him. One of the criminals was mocking Him, and the other criminal said, "Remember me, Jesus, when You come in Your kingdom". So one of the criminals put their faith in Jesus as Jesus was being crucified on the cross next to him. Yeshua said to the one that put his faith in Him, in his dying moment, Yeshua said to him, "Today you will be with Me in paradise". And I wanna speak about this concept of paradise in the afterlife.
The scripture teaches us that eye has not seen, ear has not heard, the things that God has prepared for those that love Him. What we see in this world, the beauty in this world, for example the beautiful trees, the fruits, pictures of the sunset, pictures of the ocean, the beach, all the most beautiful things that we see on the earth, don't even compare to what God's people are gonna be experiencing in the afterlife, the paradise of God. Anything that you can think of that would be the best that you could possibly want for yourself in the world to come, doesn't even compare to how great it is actually gonna be. Again the Lord says eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and neither has it has it ever entered into the heart of man the things that God's prepared for those that love Him. In other words, it's gonna be so much better.
So I just wanna encourage you today beloved one I know in this world life can be tough. Every day is a battle. Jesus said in the Book of Revelation to one of the seven churches, He said I know where you live, He says, it's where Satan's throne is. In other words, the powers of darkness are moving all over the face of the earth. And every day you and I are in a battle. We have to overcome. We have to overcome darkness and depression and anxiety and fear and chaos and lust and poverty and health issues, and all the things that happen in people's lives in the world. It's a tough journey that we're in down here. But Jesus said, "Be faithful until the end and you will inherit the paradise of God". I want you to know today, God has got something so great in store for you. Keep on pressing on. Keep hanging on. It's not gonna be that much longer until you're gonna be with God and King Jesus in the paradise of God.
