Kenneth Copeland - The Word Of God Settles It

TOPICS: God's Word

Hello everybody. I'm Kenneth Copeland. This is the believers voice of victory broadcast. Jesus is alive. On the throne and prayer changes things, Glory to God.

Oh, we praise you heavenly Father. We praise and worship you, Lord Jesus. We thank you for the victory. Hallelujah. This is that believers voice of victory, network, Glory be to God. Oh, let's praise him and give him praise. He's worthy of our praise. The glory is here. Hallelujah. The very glory of God.

Did you know the scripture says that the Spirit of God raised Jesus from the dead and it also says that the glory raised Jesus from the dead. Well, he's here. How do we know he's in every one of us? That's how we know he was here and we got here. He'd be here when we leave and glory to God. He going right with you. I learned 50 years ago to quit saying God be with me. What a waste of air? An exercise in ignorance, not ignorance. No. People in Texas, people are not ignorant. They're ignern't. And I was ignorant, Brother. Oh Lord. Be with us on this trip. And the Lord reminded me, Kenneth, I've already said in my Word, I will never leave you nor forsake you. I'm, I'm with you. I'll be with you all the way over there. I'm already over there now and I'll meet you there. But I'm in you. I'm in you. I'm going with you. Glory to God. He's with us and and in us. Amen.

Let's go to our scripture in Romans eight. There is therefore now. Ah, good job. That was better. There is now no condemnation to them, which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the five physical senses, but after the Spirit or after the Word. The Word of God must be final authority in the life of a born again believer first place at final authority. When the Word says by his stripes ye were healed. Himself, took our infirmities. Bore our sicknesses. No, that's it. I heard Brother Hagin, He said, He wrote this in the, in the, uh, margin to his Bible. The Bible says it, I believe it. And that settles it. That's the end of the deal. So now, you put that on your, in your heart, you put it on your mind, you get it on your mind, you meditate on it, praise God. And you give, you get where you don't say anything else. I don't, I don't care how much pressure is on you. All of that is that condemnation.

So where am I going to go from here? Let's go over there and now to the, to the 25th chapter of the Book of Matthew. And I want to begin reading here with 31st verse. Gloria and I, just a few weeks ago, we're in a prison in Gainsville, Texas. And this was, this particular one was a, a, a women's unit. And this same message is the one that God poured into my heart many, many, many, many years ago when we first went into the prison ministry. And, um, way back. I'm, I'm talking about in the 70s. And um, verse 31, "When the son of man shall come in his glory and all the holy angels with him, then shall sit upon the throne of his glory and before Him shall be gathered all nations, he shall separate them one from another as a shepherd, divides his sheep from the goats. And he shows sit. The sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left then shall the king say unto them on his right hand, come you blessed of my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world".

I wanted you to get that God did all this before the foundation of the world. He knew your name. And the second you would be conceived in your mother's womb. He knew all of this. How dare anybody take upon themselves to kill that little unborn baby. But it's happened. And so, and of course we stand against it with everything we can and we do everything we can to not only stop it, but to minister to the women, especially. And the young men that are involved. Amen. Because sweetheart, your baby's in heaven waiting on you. She'll get that condemnation... Oh God, I wished I hadn't done that. Well, I wish you hadn't too, but you can't get it back. But you can... you can turn it over to Jesus and you can get these verses on your mind instead of that little baby. Because, that that little guy is waiting on you. And when you get to heaven, he going to come screaming, "Mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy". That's a wonderful thought.

So, Put that on your heart. Don't be thinking about all that other. If you knowing what you know now, you, you, you would've, could've changed it back there then, but you didn't, so repent and supernaturally forget it. Forget it. That child's not dead. That child is not dead. I tell you, Amen. Amen. Amen. So verse 35, "For I was hungry and you gave me meat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in. Naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came unto me". That's what, and and those, uh, those of you that are watching this and you're incarcerated now let me tell you something. Jesus would be in prison just along as you are right there with you. Praise God right there with you. And those of you that have been paroled, you're, you're released. Get to get this, get hold of this. Amen.

Don't let prison pull you back in there. No, no. That's not who you are. That's who you were. That's not who you are. That's who you are. Glory to God. The righteous answer him saying, Lord one shall we, the Hungry and fed you, thirsty and gave you drink. One saw me, the a stranger and took you in and naked and clothed you. One saw me, sick or in prison and came to you. Listen to this very carefully in verse 14 the "King shall answer and say unto them, verily I say unto you, and as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these, my brethren, you have done it unto me".

Now what do, what's the main thing that we've gleaned from this? Saul of Tarsus drug people in, Christians, severely persecuted Christians. In sighted and held their coats while they stoned Stephen. Jesus did not say Saul. Saul, why are you persecuting people? No, no. He said, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? Now, Jesus, your Lord your savior. Amen. Let this one we read yesterday, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus who thought it not robbery to be called equal with God". We are joint heirs with Christ Jesus.

We are joint heirs with him and but, but now let me tell you something, all that you're seeing all of this strife and this turmoil in the United States, all of this, all this mess. The Devil's not persecuting Donald Trump. He's not coming against Donald Trump. He's coming against Jesus. This nation belongs to Him. That's the reason certain atheist are just hell bent. And I use that term, uh, righteously. They are hell bent on stoping and everything that has anything to do with Jesus. Amen. They, keep messing around like that. And they go there. They'll wind up getting born again. You wait and see because we're praying for them. We don't hate him. Ain't no use in him going to hell no. No. Either one of them. There's causing the... Or another one that I'm thinking, oh no. Ain't no use in them going to hell. My cousin, first cousin and... My Dad's sister and my mother, just prayer warriors together and they just made up their mind.

Long time ago, that their boys weren't going to hell and thank God they prayed. Both of us right now a hill. But Larry, uh, I mean man, Larry had just really young, just got in the drugs and, and his mom was praying and praying and praying over you. And he'd get so spaced out he didn't know where he was and in start talking about God and his, you know his narco brothers, We ain't doing dope with you no more," Well why? "Because all you want to talk about is God. we don't want to hear it". He'd get out there and here It comes here. Right. He got saved one night listening to the Words coming out of his own mouth. Sobered him up. The medical community had already told him my aunt Barbara... Said, "Look man, if he was to get off a dope he'll never be in his right mind. He'd done this so long, he's just be a vegetable".

So he, decided in, in praying about it. He knew good and well that God had calling him into physical therapy. He never finished high school. He just went to college, physical therapy, When it came time to graduate, he didn't have a high school diploma. He had to go across town and take the test and on get his high school diploma before they give him is his degree, his degree in physical therapy. So where'd you really tough. There's a lot of it is premed and his top grades he said, "Kenneth, That's pretty good for a carrot". "Yeah. Larry, you're smarter than I am, brother". Praise God. He is. And uh, just, just sharp on the Word of God.

See what it did for his brain, not just his mind brain. Glory to God the Word. But the prayer of his mother had his mother accepted that condemnation, that idea. He's never going to get saved. They will never be anything but a vegetable on. I just don't understand why God let this happen to us, It would have killed him. She wouldn't take that. She refused to think like that. I'll tell you that woman, glory to God. She was the first, no, the second one in all of our family on both sides that got baptized in the Holy Ghost. And uh, I mean you talk about a praying machine. She and my Mama were really something. They still are, you know, amen, even though they'd been in heaven awhile now.

So if you've you, you need to renew your mind to the fact that you're not the target here. Jesus is the target. And if you let him take his place, Hey, I started to say, if you let him take his faith place and let the Word fight, it's own fight, you, you can have peace of mind everywhere you go. But you're going to have to, you're going to have to do what it takes. It's what you set your affection or other translations say set your mind on things above, not on things of the earth and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. What's that walk by faith. So you, you must do what it takes because it's your mind, your mind. It doesn't belong to the devil unless you give it to him. Yeah, yeah.

Now listen, listen, listen, listen. Yeah. It's a divine connection today that you're watching and hearing these Words. Don't you take your own life, put it down right now. Right this minute you put it down. Don't, ah, don't take your life. Don't take your life. Give it to Jesus. Give it to him right now. Just say, Jesus, take my life and do something with it. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Today is your day of salvation. Today is your life. Today is your life, not your death. Today is your life. Glory to God. Amen, and I take Words from Dean Sikes. Your life matters. You matter. You matter to God. If you don't have anybody else in this world, you matter to him and therefore you matter to us. We love you. I don't even know you, and I love you in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Put it down. Amen, and know that God loves you.

The book of Deuteronomy, the 30th chapter, the 19th verse I call Heaven and Earth to record today against you that I have set before you life and death. Blessing and cursing. Therefore you choose life. Now that's far as I can go with you. You can go ahead and kill yourself, but you're a fool if you do because that's not the end. My brother. That's not the end. That's just the beginning. That's the beginning of the eternity, Hey, listen to me. That's not the end of anything except the end of your ability to choose. You got to make the choice while you're still in this physical human body. You get out of there and well, Father, I pray for this person in the name of Jesus. Reveal yourself to them, reveal Jesus. How much you love them. You did everything it takes. You went to hell. You bore our sins, our sickness, our diseases, our weaknesses, and our pains. You did everything it takes except praying the prayer.

You can't pray anybody's prayer for them. You did all of the hard part and you made it as easy as you could possibly make it. We're all we have to do is believe in our heart that you raised Jesus from the dead and confess you as Lord. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Thank you Lord Jesus. Praise you. Jesus. Praise you. Jesus, we honor you, Lord Jesus. We worship you, Lord Jesus. Glory, Glory, glory, glory, glory, glory, glory. Thank you Lord Jesus. Thank you Lord. Jesus, I don't know how, but I sense in my Spirit that was connected with this, uh, this, uh, the prison connection here, that, "I was in prison. Ain't nobody come and visited me". Well, you know what, that's just because you didn't know Jesus because he right there with you. Amen. Glory to God. All right.

Now then I don't have any idea where I was and I really don't care if you don't mind how much time I've got to thank you, Lord Jesus. All right. Yes. Thank you Lord. Now Hebrews chapter 10. Let's go. Let's go back to that place. Cause this from chapter five and six, When you get to Hebrews six, chapter five talks about "For everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the Word of righteousness for he's a baby". Now that's what this ministry is all about. It growing up into him and it'll show you right here, strong meat belongs to them that are of full age. Even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil are, in other Words, train your flesh is trainable. You got born again. You don't grow in righteousness. He who knew no sin was made to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. You'll never be any more righteous than you were the first moment you were born again, don't get that confused with holiness.

See, righteousness is of the Spirit. Holiness has to do with the flesh as well as the Spirit in grow in holiness. You grow in faith, desire, the sincere milk of the Word that you might grow thereby and growing. You can grow your, your, your, your physical being, train it, work with it, train it now therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ. Let us go on unto perfection or let's go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of Baptisms, the laying on of hands and the resurrection of the dead and of eternal judgment. This we will do if God permit so and where we are right now and that that's the job of this ministry. We're going on to another level and where we're headed. Where we must be is walking in that place where we're not condemning ourselves, but that place of no more sin consciousness, but walking in a communion with Jesus and we'll take it up there tomorrow.
