John Hagee - The King of the West
Will you please stand for the reading of God's word. Turn with me to the Book of Revelation 13, as we continue today our prophetic sermon series. "The King of the West," the beast that comes out of the sea. Bible prophecy clearly reveals that there will, in the last of days following the rapture of the church, come four powerful kings that will race onto the stage of world history with two objectives. One is to conquer the world, to reign as a global dictator, and to sit on an imperial throne as the king of the earth, a throne like that. The second objective will be to conquer Israel, to destroy the Jewish people, and to control the City of Jerusalem for the anointing of a false Messiah. Israel is now surrounded by nations screaming for their blood.
This week, the Drudge headline read, "Iran fires two missiles marked with the phrase 'Israel must be wiped out' written in Hebrew". When exactly did they fire these missiles from Iran? Exactly when the vice president of the United States, Joseph Biden, was visiting with prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. Message: Iran was simply thumbing their nose at America. You gave us 150 billion dollars, and now we're doing exactly what we want to do with your money. They're laughing at us night and day. The point is, remember that that 150 billion dollars that we gave to Iran, we were told it was going to bring peace and put a cap on the nuclear progress of Iran. It has only accelerated it. America's money has paved the way to guarantee a lasting war in the Middle East.
These four kings are, right now, on center stage for the first time in world history. You are watching this massive prophetic, geopolitical drama on the front pages of your newspaper. And you're watching it on the news telecasts of your smart flat screen televisions. The final game of thrones has begun. The Gog/Magog war of Ezekiel 38, 39 has begun. One of the greatest Jewish scholars in the world, rabbi Radak, writes in the art scroll series, "When the sun turns to darkness", as an eclipse, "And the moon turns to blood", as in the four blood moons, the rabbi says, "This will occur in the Gog/Magog war". This Gog/Magog war is the beginning of a series of wars that will engulf the world in what will be called in history the third world war. The Bible says it will be the Battle of Armageddon.
We are racing toward the end of the world as we know it. You don't need to be a geopolitical expert to know that it is coming unraveled. Revelation 13:1 and 8, read it with me, please. John says: then I stood on the sand of the sea. Stop right there. John is not in a literal sea. In prophetic terms, "The sea" means the nations of the world. So John is saying, I am looking at the nations of the world. Now follow. And I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns, ten crowns, and on his heads, a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard. His feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. That dragon is Satan, that old serpent.
Verse 3: And I saw one of the heads as if it had been mortally wounded. And his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon that gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him? And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies. And he was given authority to continue for 42 months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God to blaspheme his name, his tabernacle, and those who dwell in it. It was granted unto him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. An authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him whose names have not been written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundations of the world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. John says, if you want to understand anything in this book, understand what I have just said.
Father, thank you for your word, because we can see the future exactly as revealed by John the Revelator, who has pulled back the curtain of time to reveal the apocalypse tomorrow. In Jesus' name, let us grasp the enormity of this historical moment in which we are living, because we are certainly preparing for the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the king of all kings. In Jesus' name, we pray. And all of God's children said, praise the Lord.
You may be seated. Who is the king of the west? The Bible does not give us a specific name. While there are more than 100 passages of scripture dealing with him, the title antichrist is mentioned five times in the New Testament, and each time by John. He is the king of the west, this antichrist. Consider the Bible portrait of this vicious monster, who is soon going to walk across the stage of human history. He is the chief son of Satan, according to 2 Thessalonians 2:3. He will come out of the original Roman Empire in the latter days, promising world peace. He is a monster, who will come as a Prince of Peace. He is a seducer and a deceiver. But he will produce the greatest blood bath the world has ever seen in a battle called Armageddon where John the Revelator says the blood will flow to the bridle of a horse for 1600 furlongs.
"1600 furlongs" is 200 miles, literally from here to Houston, Texas. He is the little horn of Daniel 7. Out of one of them came a little horn, which was exceedingly great toward the glorious land. The little horn is the antichrist. He presses toward the glorious land. "The glorious land" is Israel. The target of the king of the west is Israel and the City of Jerusalem where he is going to set up his image and proclaim that he is God. And he will demand that the world worship him. His false prophet will call fire down from heaven to consume the sacrifice on the altar. This will emulate the prophet Elijah on mount Carmel, who called fire down from heaven to consume the sacrifice. When the false prophet causes the image to speak, the nations of the world are going to worship this chief son of Satan himself.
Jesus prophesied this in Matthew 24:15 when he speaks of the abomination of desolation. The abomination of desolation happened several hundred years before Christ with Antiochus Epiphanes. Antiochus Epiphanes was a pagan, who invaded Israel and Jerusalem. And he set up his image before the throne. He went into the temple of Israel and slaughtered a pig on the altar, thus defiling the temple that the Jews could not use it again. Jesus is saying, in the latter days, there will come another Antiochus Epiphanes, who will be Satan's chief son, the antichrist. And he is going to defile the temple. He will defile it by putting his image up and saying, I am God. The sad part is the world is going to worship this monster. The king of the west, the antichrist, will establish a New World Order of ten nation groups.
I want them to show this on the screen, because I, in my research, came across this book that was written in the middle 70's about the club of Rome. The club of Rome are really atheist, God-hating, New World Order people. But they have enormous power in Europe. And in 1973, they met together and they petitioned the world in ten nation groups. They called them "Ten kingdoms". This is a literal fulfillment of Daniel 7:15 through 28 and Revelation 13. Isn't it amazing that something written 3,000 years ago is so accurately being portrayed? Nation group number one, you see the United States of America, Canada, and Alaska all grouped together. When the antichrist comes, he's going to conquer three. And seven will do his bidding. Therefore, he will wear three crowns, and there will be seven kings.
That's why the beast of Revelation is seven heads with ten horns. How many of you understand that now? Good. Let's move forward. The king of the west will have attributes much like Adolf Hitler. Hitler came to power because of an economic crisis. The Versailles treaty demanded that Germany pay America and Europe for all of the damages of World War I. It was an enormous number. It bankrupted Germany. Germany printed money. There was massive inflation, poverty, hunger. The money printed on one side of the paper, because the ink on the paper was more valuable than the money. People would go to the store with a purse full of money to buy one loaf of bread. And the loaf of bread price was changing by the hour.
Enter Adolf Hitler, who promised prosperity to the German people, and the rebirth of military power, which was a violation of the Versailles treaty. But he, being a rebel, and saying, we will make Germany great again, was something that set them on fire. And they elected him as their leader, because he came as a provider and as the Prince of Peace just like the antichrist is going to come. The king of the west will come to power on the wings of a global economic crisis. It's not a matter of if there's going to be a global economic crisis: it's only a matter of when. George Soros, one of the great and foremost authorities in global economy, reported on CNBC, January the 20th of this year. The headline was "Europe on the verge of collapse". "Billionaire George Soros has warned that the European Union is on the verge of collapse over the immigration crisis", you remember what I talked about last week? "And is in danger of kicking the ball further uphill in its management of the issue, which has seen more than a million immigrants and refugees arrive in the region in 2015".
He's saying that Europe is going to be destabilized by this massive immigration that's happening there, which the same thing could happen in America if we don't get our house in order. George Soros feels that Germany and chancellor Angela Merkel are the key to solving the migration crisis that is destroying the European Union. Message: Europe is in crisis, a grave crisis. Soon, their savior will appear. It will be the antichrist who's going to introduce to Europe and to the world, a one-world currency, a one-world government, and a one-world religion. Let's start with the currency. I believe, because of our technology, it will be electronic drawing rights with a chip that will be put in your right hand or your forehead. When you purchase something, you just simply put your forehand down and bang. If you have enough drawing rights in the bank, you can get it.
I had lunch with a friend this week, who travels the world. And I was telling him about this and he smiled. And I said, why are you smiling? He said, because for the last six years, I have not handled one dime or dollar or DeutscheMark or European currency. I have only paid with my apple watch. He said, I put it down: it withdraws from my bank. For six years, I have not touched currency of any kind. It's not coming: it's here. A one-world government, most people do not believe that America would ever become a socialist government. You're very naive. Let the record speak for itself, because there are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a socialist/communist state. In America, five out of eight of these are already done. And the last three are almost done.
Step one is the health care. Control health care and you control people, because it controls about 20% of the income of the nation.
Secondly, poverty. Increase the poverty level as high as possible. Poor people are easier to control on welfare and will not fight back if you are providing everything they live on. Ninety-one million people in America are out of the workforce. Think about that. Soon that number will be greater than the people who are working. And when that scale tips, we are there.
Thirdly is debt. Increase the national debt to an unsustainable level, that way you're able to increase taxes on the rich. And the rich are considered those who have a job. And take it and spread it to those who are not working. We are now 19 trillion dollars in debt. Ladies and gentlemen, America is broke. When you print money to pay your debts, you are not solvent: you are broke.
Four, gun control. Remove the ability of citizens to defend themselves from the government. Thank God that has not yet happened in the United States of America. The second amendment still holds. Well let me tell you this. If we do not get a constitutional Supreme Court justice to replace justice Scalia, and one more liberal gets on that Supreme Court, you can kiss the second amendment good-bye.
Five, welfare. Take control of every aspect of people's lives, food, housing, and income. That's done.
Education, take control of what children are learning in school. We have that now. It's called core curriculum. Last week, headlines, "Children in New York City school number 75, were told to salute a foreign flag and pledge allegiance to that foreign flag". Core curriculum by the federal government is the death of democracy. It is socialism. And let me tell you just for the record. Boys, who wake up feeling they are girls and are permitted to use the girl's restroom in public schools is moral insanity: it needs to stop!
The seventh step is religion. Remove faith in God from the government, the school, and the military. We are virtually there. Eight, class warfare. Divide the people into the poor, meaning those who are controlled by welfare, and those who are still working. Racially divide them. Economically divide them. But divide them. This will cause discontent. And it will be easier to tax the wealthy and fill the support of the voting poor: done. The America I know, I knew as a teenager is dead. Today the constitutional government is in crisis. The family union is shattered. The school curriculum is controlled by a central government. And that is a disaster. The debt crisis bringing and threatening our national sovereignty is a reality.
So we're talking now about a world-wide religion. I believe that that's going to be Islam. It already exists. They're 1.6 billion followers of Islam. A third of them are radical. Two-thirds of them are not. The question is, and I've been asked this a number of times in the past few months: is the antichrist in the Bible and the Mahdi of Islam the same person? So let's compare the Bible and its description of the antichrist, and the Koran of the Mahdi, who is the Islamic messiah. One, the Islamic Messiah will be a powerful, political, military world leader. In the Bible, Daniel 7:7 and 8, the antichrist is exactly the same.
Secondly, the Islamic messiah will be a spiritual world leader and will cause anyone who practices any other religion other than Islam to renounce that faith and worship Islam or be beheaded. You that with ISIS now. The antichrist is a spiritual world leader, who will demand that the world worship him. Those who do not will be beheaded. Revelation 13:4 through 8.
Thirdly, the antichrist will target Christians and Jews for death. Daniel 7:25. The Islamic messiah will target Christians and Jews for death.
Four, the antichrist will set up his image on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem for the world to worship him and call him God, 2 Thessalonians 2:4. The Islamic messiah will attack Jerusalem and try to conquer it for Islam in order to establish an Islamic rule over the earth and to rule with Islamic law, Sharia law, from the City of Jerusalem.
Five, the antichrist will offer Israel a seven-year treaty, Daniel 9:27. The Islamic messiah will offer exactly the same.
Six, the antichrist comes riding on a white horse, Revelation 6:2. The Islamic messiah comes riding on a white horse in the Koran.
Seven, the antichrist will set times and change laws, Daniel 7:25. The Islamic messiah with Sharia law all over the earth will set times and change laws. Seven out of seven, not bad. If it was one, that's a coincidence. If it was two, that would concern you. But when you have seven exact comparisons, I think you can say that they are one in the same person. Now by peace, the Bible says in Daniel 8:25, meaning by a treaty, the antichrist will destroy many. The antichrist will make peace treaties he never intended to keep. Adolf Hitler did the same thing. Prime minister Chamberlain went to Hitler, asking for peace. He came back to England with a piece of paper in his hand, waving it, saying, we have peace in our times. Hitler said he didn't want to go to war with Great Britain. He lied. Weeks later, the battle of Britain began.
Just like Hitler, the antichrist will make peace treaties and military agreements that he never intends to keep. He's going to make a seven-year peace treaty with Israel that he will break in three and a half years. America has just committed to a nuclear deal with Iran that will never be kept because of hudna. Iran is an Islamic nation. They are a radical theological group. Hudna is the right to lie in the advancement of your faith against infidels. Christians and Jews are infidels. In this treaty, America's thrown Israel under the bus. Our president has paved the way for Iran to become nuclear and the moneys that we are spending, Iran is now developing and receiving from Russia, greater technology in its long-range missiles that will certainly bring to Israel great trial and tribulation.
Let me say to you in Washington, D.C., what you do to Russia, God could care less. What you do to Iran, God could care less. But what you do to Israel, God says, I will take it up with you. They are the apple of my eye, and I will punish you. There is a law in the Bible that what you do to Israel, God will do to you. Consider Egypt. Egypt drowned Jewish male children in the Nile River. So God drowned Pharaoh and the Egyptian army in the Red Sea. The Egyptians killed Jewish children to keep them from populating and becoming greater than the Egyptians. So God said to all of Egypt, the house that does not have blood over the door, the first born in that house will die. And from one end of Egypt to the other, every person who did not believe, the oldest and first born child died.
Whatever you attack of the Jewish people, God will attack you in the same way. The antichrist will understand dark sentences. That means he's going to be controlled by the occult. Satan is the prince of darkness. "Prince" is someone who has authority in a given kingdom. The antichrist will be a prince in the kingdom of darkness. He will have a Satanic anointing to know secret things. Nothing can be hidden from him, like Hitler. Hitler was a master of the occult. He was anointed with demonic power. He was vicious. He was a beast. There is one coming after him in Revelation 13, who is a greater monster than he ever thought about being. Have you noticed the avalanche of occult movies lately? Ladies and gentlemen, keep your children out of those occultic movies. Get those occultic books out of your house, because that demonic strand will get in their spirit and destroy their young minds.
The next characteristic of the king of the west, the antichrist, is that he will be extremely arrogant. Daniel 8:25 says: he will magnify himself in his heart. Now I fully understand that unlimited arrogance only cuts the list of potential antichrist candidates down by a few thousand. And that's without leaving the city limits of Washington, D.C. Can I get a witness? The antichrist is going to be the master of deception. Jesus said in Matthew 24: let no man deceive you. Listen to this. Jesus on another occasion said in John 5:43: "I am coming to you", he's speaking to the Jewish people. "I am coming to you in my Father's name, and you will not receive me. But someone is going to come in his own name (that would be the antichrist) and you will receive him".
In America, we have become accustom to deception. Our president told us in the first term that he believed marriage was between a man and a woman. But as soon as he got beyond the reach of the ballot, he said, I support gay marriage. That's deception. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. In reality that didn't work out. That's deception. If you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance. That's deception. It never happened. We have become so accustom to lying. We don't know what the truth sounds like. You want to know why the American people are so enraged? They have been deceived. They have been lied to and they are mad as thunder. Thank God. All of the righteous storm the voting booth and vote the Bible!
The Bible says: fight the good fight of faith. Endure hardness. Paul refers to us as Christian soldiers. Put on the whole armor of God, and resist the devil, and he will flee. Push back? Fight to win! The victory is ours through Christ the Lord! If the salt has lost its saver, it is good for nothing but to be cast down and trodden under foot. Fight the good fight of faith. Siempre Adelaide, always moving forward. Should Christians get involved in the political process? Yes! When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked rule, the people mourn. America is in mourning because the righteous have taken the backseat! Ladies and gentlemen of America, flood the storm gates of the voting booth and vote the Bible. Vote for righteous principle!
The king of the west will create a one-world religion. He will set up his image in the City of Jerusalem, according to the text that I have read to you in Revelation 13, and command for the world to worship him. Those who do not are going to be killed on the spot. Imagine a world filled with demonized Satan worshippers. You wonder why the Bible says, and when Jesus comes a second time on the white horse, that the world will mourn his coming. They mourn his coming because they're following the devil. And they know the Prince of Peace, the living God, is getting ready to take over. And the world is going to be ruled by principles of righteousness. And the King of kings is about to sit on the throne. And of that kingdom, there shall be no end! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!
Daniel 8:24 states that the king of the west, the antichrist, shall seek to destroy the mighty and the holy people. "The mighty" are the nations of the world. "The holy people" again, are the Jewish people. Why will the antichrist hate the Jewish people? Because the antichrist is opposed to anything that Christ loves. God loves the Jewish people. This book says they are the apple of his eye. That word "Apple" translates "Pupil". When you irritate the Jewish people, God says you are sticking your finger in the pupil of his eye. You want to get somebody's attention? God loves the Jewish people because they gave the world the Word of God. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Jewish. Every prophet in this book, Jewish. Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, Jewish. The twelve disciples, Jewish. Saint Paul said in Romans 11:26: all Israel will be saved. Jesus said in John 4:22: salvation is of the Jews.
Message: if you take away the Jewish contribution to Christianity, there would be no Christianity. You just take Jesus out of the mix, and there would be no Christianity. The antichrist will be shot in the head, probably by a righteous Jew, who through Hebrew Geometria will recognize that the sum of the letters of his last name equals 666. The antichrist will recover miraculously, emulating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When he recovers from the gunshot, he will be Hitler reborn. It will be the Fourth Reich on steroids. This time God is going to make a way of escape for the Jewish people. They will flee to Petra in Jordan to be protected and defended by the hand of God for three and a half years, like the children of Israel in the wilderness. God will feed them. He will provide water for them. Not one will be sick nor feeble.
Hear me. God is not going to allow another dictator to punish the Jewish people. He is going to be the defender of Israel. And he has promised to crush every nation that attacks Israel. Zechariah 12:8 and 9: "In that day (the day I'm speaking about), the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. It shall be in that day, saith the Lord, that I will seek to destroy all nations". Say that with me, "All nations". That includes the United States of America. "That come against Israel. That's God's promise".
The antichrist will mock and defy Jesus Christ. I think that when he sets his image up in the temple that will be built in the future, he's going to look in the heavens and says look at me: I'm the king of the world. Every person on the earth has my mark in their right hand or forehead. My image is in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount, the city of God, and I am the one they're worshiping as God. When you were in Jerusalem, Jesus, they spit on you. They gave you a crown of thorns. They crucified you on a Roman cross. You should have worshiped me when I gave you that opportunity in the wilderness 2,000 years ago. Hang on. Daniel 8:25, God gets a belly full of this arrogant, loud-mouthed punk, hoodlum, globalist whore monger.
That's the Hagee translation. Daniel says it this way: he (the antichrist) will be broken without hand. What does that mean? It means that God Almighty will personally cast the antichrist into the lake of fire. He will not be defeated by another army, but he will be defeated by the king of all kings and the Lord of all Lord. Our God reigns. Our God reigns! Our God reigns! He is the king of all kings! He is the Lord of all Lords! He has all power in heaven and in earth! He is higher than the highest! He is greater than the greatest! He is mightier than the mightiest. He is the lion of the tribe of Judah! He will rip and tear the enemies of Israel asunder. He holds the seven seas in the palms of his hand. He calls the stars by name. He is the living word! He is the bread of life! He is the Rose of Sharon! He is the Lily of the Valley! He is the light of the world! He is the Lamb of God! Glory! Glory! Glory to his name! Jesus is his name! Our God reigns! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!
Remain standing. Stand. While the organizist plays, let me ask you this question. So preacher, why should I be concerned? Because Jesus said: many will say to me in that day, (the Day of Judgment), "Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not do miracles? Did we not cast out demons"? And I'm going to say, "Depart from me worker of iniquity", say it with me, "I never knew you. I never knew you". Matthew 7:13: wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there go in. Narrow is the gate that leads to life, and few there be that find it. "Many" is the majority on the Broadway. "Few" are going to walk the way that leads to heaven.
I assure you: within an hour of the rapture of the church, Cornerstone Church is going to be packed with people screaming out to God, I thought I was ready. I thought I was ready. Revelation 14:9 says: and anyone who worships the beast or receives his mark shall be tormented for eternity. Your option is to determine to follow Jesus Christ or the antichrist. But it's those choices. And that choice could become a very real reality 60 seconds after the church is gone. And what has to happen before the church leaves? Nothing. There was a time I could say, these three things have to happen before that can happen. Those days are over. We are not running out of time: we are out of time. You're in this room and say, preacher, I really don't want to go through the hell of the tribulation. I would really like to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
Would you slip your hand up right now so I can pray with you and for you to receive eternal life? Just slip your hand up. God knows you need him. You know you need him. Thank you. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. A whole group here, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you in the balcony. As we sing, I want you to come and I want you to stand right here. And I'm going to have a prayer with you. And while we're praying, the blood of Jesus Christ is going to remove all of your sins from the book of life. And angels will write your name in the lamb's book of life, saved, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, Cornerstone Church. As they sing, I want you to come. I want you to come. Join me across the nation by television, the thousands who are here, as we pray together, and these precious people walk into the arms of Jesus Christ. Pray this prayer with me.
Heavenly Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I ask you to forgive me of all of my sin. May the blood of Christ cleanse me, purify me: that I may be your child and serve you in the beauty of holiness for the rest of my life. I will read and obey your word. I will be your servant. And from this day forward, you become my Lord. In Jesus' name, I am saved and heaven is my home. Hallelujah. Give the Lord praise in the house. Give the Lord praise in the house. Come on. Give the Lord a thunderous praise in the house of God! Thank you Lord. Amen.
