In one of David’s absolute darkest moments—Samuel dead, Saul hunting him, rejected, broke, and ready to throw away his destiny over one insult—God shows that even when everything feels lost and you’re one bad decision from ruin, all you have to do is just survive it because «Abigail» (your miracle, your turnaround, your re-orientation) is already on the way from the other side of the hill. Using 1 Samuel 25, the preacher’s core message is that the wilderness seasons that almost break chosen people are actually normal training for champions, and God always has a secret weapon coming to pull you back to who you really are—just hold on and survive it.
Opening — 1 Samuel 25:1
I want us to look at First Samuel chapter 25, and I’m going to read quite a bit of this. I’m not going to have you stand for the whole thing, but I’m going to read it, and I just really believe we need to unpack everything that is happening in this passage. I believe it’s going to ultimately be one of your go-to passages. You know we have those go-to passages, come on somebody! This is going to be a go-to story, and I believe it’s a story that’s going to help you, encourage you, and prosper you in moments—particularly in moments when you don’t know exactly what God is doing.
And I’ll just tell you right now, if you are a destiny person, that means you go from glory to glory, and level to level, and strength to strength, and faith to faith. In between that glory to glory, in between that strength to strength, and in between that faith to faith, there are uncomfortable seasons. But the word is not as delicious in your season of prosperity. It’s good, but it’s not great. Are you tracking with me? Because in your season of prosperity, everything is confirmed. You know what I mean; the word is confirmed by your life, and you are hallelujah, thank you Jesus. Oh, bless the Lord, oh my soul! I’m blessed, sanctified, right? And that’s cool—but how many of us know when you’re in the in-between, that’s when the word is really good to you? Are you tracking with me? The word is at its best when all you have is it. Are you tracking with me? Has anybody ever been there when all you had was a word from God? You know you didn’t have manifestation; your life looked nothing like the word, and you had to pretty much just close your eyes, not look at the circumstances, and just believe the word until the Lord brought you through?
So I believe that this is going to be one of those two passages—one of your favorite go-to passages of Scripture—because you’re going to find somebody in the person of David, who, I believe, in this moment that we find him in, is in a moment that will not be any worse than the one you’re in, and we’re going to talk about that. I’m only going to have you stand for the first verse, and then I’m going to have you sit down, and we’re going to walk through the verses together. The first verse of First Samuel chapter 25 and verse 1 reads: «Then Samuel died. And the Israelites gathered together and lamented for him and buried him at his home in Rama. And David arose and went down to the wilderness of Paran.»
Prayer
Let’s pray—bow with me:
Lord, we thank you for this moment that you’ve given us to be in your house, to be in your courts, and to experience your word. We understand, Father, we’re here because of this understanding that man does not live off of bread alone. We don’t live off of earthly nourishment alone, but what we live by are the words that proceed out of your mouth. So God, we’re hungry for those words, and I want you to fill us to the full. I want you to give us so much word today that we’re stored up for any season—not just the high seasons, but so much so with your word that that word will minister to us, counsel us, empower us, and strengthen us when we have to go through the in-between—the reality of the space between levels, between dimensions, between glory—because that is when we need your word the most. So God, I thank you for every person here, every person from campus to campus, from Denver to LA, to online, that is being exposed to this right now. Bless them, enrich them, empower them, enlighten them, feed them, and may we leave here stronger than we’ve ever been, more clear than we’ve ever been, and more determined than we’ve ever been. In Jesus' name, Amen. Amen.
God bless you! Please be seated.
Today’s Theme — Just Survive It
My theme for today, the theme that we will minister around today, is simply «Just Survive It.»
David’s Darkest Moment
Before we dive into the second bonus, I want to tell the story, and the story sounds so much better with music. It says, «Then Samuel died.» Now, if you just look at that and those three words, it doesn’t seem like much. But let me give you the backdrop of this account, which is really about David; it’s not about Samuel. This is about David, and this is arguably the most difficult moment of David’s life. This moment for David is so difficult that it is the only time that you see David, the great, strong, mighty giant-slaying King David, prepared to throw it all away. What a moment he’s in!
This is King David who has been, when we find him in this text, anointed by the prophet Samuel. He has been promoted in the house of the king of Israel, Saul. Consequently, Saul gets jealous of David and initiates this assassination attempt that runs David out of Saul’s house, out of his own father’s house, and into hiding. And now Saul, the most powerful man in Israel, is pursuing David to take his life. That which had become familiar, that which looked like a promotion, now all of a sudden seems like the worst thing that can ever happen to him. He has lost everything. He is hiding in a stronghold with some men that he just gathered together who also were in distress, discouraged, and discontent with life—tied to themselves. And he’s in the stronghold; he’s in the hiding place, in the place of safety. And while he’s in the place of safety, he gets the worst news that he can get up to that point. Because he had lost so much, all that he had left was his spiritual father, and his spiritual father was the prophet Samuel. He was, at this time, the only sense of assurance, the only sense of peace that David had. It was Samuel, after all, who anointed him king and said he was going to be the king over Israel. It was Samuel who, when Saul was acting erratically, was his counselor; this was his confidant. His father, for all intents and purposes, rejected him, so all he has in this moment is the prophet Samuel’s spoken words.
Samuel Dies at the Worst Possible Time
Has anybody had a friend that, if this friend were removed from your life, you wouldn’t know what you would do? It could be a parent or someone of great significance in your life. David is in a tough place. He is as far away from the promised land, based on his perception, as he can be. He gets news that the only one who knew what was on his life—the only one who could see him—is gone. You know, some people just encourage you; some people just inspire you. You just know that they know who you are. They know what’s on your life, and they don’t treat you like where you are; they treat you like where you’re headed. You know what I’m talking about? You just get around them, and you’re inspired by them. You know, on the inside, you’re still working out what God is already doing in your life. And for whatever reason, God has given them the grace to see you not for where you are, but for where you’re headed. You know what I’m talking about? People like that inspire you. And when you feel like a flea or a tick, when you get in their presence, you feel like a king again. They hand you your crown when you want to take your crown and toss it down because you’ve made a mistake or because of what is happening to you. They put your crown back square on your head and say, «Stand up, put your shoulders back, put your chest out, believe, and swing again!» You know what I’m talking about? Can we just thank God for people like that—people that God makes sure are in our lives? Just take a minute; those people are great blessings. Never take them for granted. Never take them for granted because, truly, they save your life!
That’s family—that’s who Samuel was to David. And he dies. Quite frankly, he dies at the wrong time. You’re not supposed to die until I’ve made it, because I need you! You’re not supposed to die until everything that you know about my future and everything that God has shown us together. We’re in covenant; we are co-dreamers! You can’t die now! I’m still in the stronghold; I’m still hiding! The manifestation has to come! You can’t die—not you! Let anybody else die, but you! The Bible says Samuel died. And what makes matters worse for David is it says, «Then Samuel died. Then Samuel died.» So unfair!
Has anybody ever felt like life was unfair? Have you ever been kicked by life when you were already down? That ever happened to you? «I can’t take another hit!» I want to talk to some real people here today. We’re not going to have cute church; we’re going to have real church in here today.
David Goes to the Wilderness
You see, there are seasons when blessings overtake you, and you’re like, «Whoa, wow!» and you’re just getting smacked all around by blessings. Oh, but then there are other seasons. Oh God, I feel this! See, this is for you because I’m talking to some champions here today, and there are some things that champions must understand. There are things that champions must endure. David—this is the timing—is terrible for his strength and for his covenant comrade to die on him. Who do I have left now? We dream together; you inspired me, and now you’re gone. David’s reaction in this moment is critical. David has been through a lot of things and will go through a lot of things after this moment, but there is something about this moment that brings him to the brink of quitting. It brings him to the brink of quitting.
Let’s look at it. As I look at it further, I have a few things to say, and then we’ll be out of here today. «And David, then Samuel died. And the Israelites gathered together and lamented for him and buried him at his home in Rama. And David—oh better yet, David arose and went down to the wilderness of Paran.» So, Saul—Samuel dies, and Israel could celebrate him, could properly mourn for him by burying him. He cannot because he is exiled from Israel. So while Israel is going through the mourning and grieving process—which, as we all know, is a healing process—he can’t even do that, because he’s on the run.
So my mentor dies, and I can’t even grieve him properly! Instead of going down to Rama to grieve him, what I do is I arise. David arises, and he goes to the wilderness. That’s not unlike us. Have you ever had the wilderness within you drive you to a wilderness outside of you? Have you ever been so confused and so dark inside, the absence of light within you, that you didn’t want to be where the light was? You wanted to go to another environment? This is David; he’s going through it!
Nabal Rejects David
If we skip down to verse 4, it says when David heard in the wilderness—he’s in the wilderness—he leaves the safety of the hiding place and goes into the wilderness.
The wilderness is a place that is designed to train you and develop you. It’s not a place you run to, but yet David goes there. It says in verse 4: «Then David heard in the wilderness that Nabal…» introducing character number two: Nabal was shearing his sheep. David sent ten of his young men—ten of the people that are with David—and David said to the young men, «Go up to Carmel, go to Nabal and greet him in my name. And thus you shall say to Nabal, who lives in prosperity…»
So Nabal is a guy who is just balling right now. David is in a low season. He goes to the wilderness; he sees Nabal, and Nabal is just prospering. He’s doing well, and all of a sudden now David takes aim at him, and we’re going to read and see that Nabal has a little history with David. In fact, let me tell you the history with David. David is now in the wilderness, and he sees Nabal prospering. He’s shearing his sheep; he’s doing well, and David says, «Hey, send out—go out there and howl at Nabal, because you know what my history with Nabal is: there was a time when I was doing okay, and I was out in the wilderness with my men, and Nabal’s men were out there. I took his men under my wing, and I protected them, I covered them, and I looked after them, and nothing was missing.»
I wouldn’t let anybody harm Nabal’s men, and now I’m having a moment right now, and I’m in this place of entitlement. So I want you, some 10 men from my camp, go out to Nabal and say this. «Nabal, this is the PT translation: say this to Nabal: 'Hey, it’s your boy David. It’s your boy David! Remember me, Nabal? Oh, you’re over there prospering and stuff. You remember that time when you weren’t really prospering, but I was prospering? I looked after your boys when they came into my camp, and you know I could have retaliated because I’m ruthless, but I didn’t do that because I’m a good man.'»
You know, I covered them and protected them, and they lost nothing and everything is cool, and I’m in a pickle. So, like, «You’ll let me hold something? I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today!» You don’t know nothing about that. y’all know nothing about that? Yeah, so he sends his men out to basically say, «Hey, tell him it’s David, man! I’m going through!» See, the reality of it is he is so disappointed that he is disconnected from his sense of self. He is disconnected from his identity as a son of God, and when you get disappointed, you become disillusioned and forget where your help comes from.
You start becoming manipulative, and because you’ve been disconnected from the source, now when you see somebody else prospering, you no longer trust Jehovah-Jireh; you’re trying to get help from man.
David Snaps
While you’re tracking with me, that’s where David is. If we skip down to verse 10, it says, «Then Nabal answered David’s servants and said, 'Who is David? ' PT translation: 'Who are you? Who is David, and who is the son of Jesse? There are many servants nowadays who break away, each one from his master. Shall I then take my bread and my water and my beef that I have killed for my shearers and give it to men when I do not know where they are from? '» He completely dismisses David!
He completely dismisses him, says, «Who are you? Like, I know you. You’re saying this? You come here trying to get something.» And Nabal is like, «Dude, like what? How did you even get my number?» And that is the moment that David absolutely snaps! He forgets that he’s a son of the Most High God! I feel the Spirit of the Lord. He forgets that there is a calling on his life; he forgets that there is a promise on his life. He is so disoriented by his disappointment that he is delusional now, and now David purposes in his heart to kill him—he purposes in his heart to become a murderer. He is so confused, so out of his head, that he is getting ready to throw his future away entirely because he was in a moment of desperation.
Let’s keep reading, can we? We will read, and then I’ll explain further. It says, «So David’s young men in verse 12 turned on their heels and went back, and they came and told David all these words.» «Yo David, I thought you said this was your boy!» «I thought you said, 'Yo David! This is not your boy! ' I don’t know what y’all have been through, but dude, this is not your boy.»
I’m telling you, I was shocked! So David’s young men turned on their heels and went back, and they came and told him all these words. Then David said to his men—David completely snaps! He completely flips out! He says, «Every man gird his sword.» So every man girded his sword, and David also girded on his sword, and about 400 men went with David, and 200 stayed with the supplies. David now—man, a fellow—because of his disappointment!
Disappointment Leads to Disillusionment
And disappointment is often followed by disillusionment. Has anybody ever been disappointed by God? I taught a sermon once called «When God Disappoints You, » and religious people like to say, «Hey, God never disappoints me!» Shut up; that’s not true! It’s not true! God does disappoint us, however, it’s not because of God; it’s because of us. Disappointment is the byproduct of an ignorant expectation! Are you tracking with me?
That is why disappointment necessitates ignorance. That’s why God can never be disappointed in you! Some people think they disappoint God! Stop it! No, you didn’t! Because that means that God would have had to have expected something out of you and believed that something was going to happen out of you, and you shocked Him when it didn’t happen because He was ignorant to the outcome! No, you don’t! You never disappoint God! Hello somebody, just get that off!
I know people teach that; get that off! You can’t disappoint God because He knows the end from the beginning. Okay, now—a God thing can disappoint you, because you don’t know the end from the beginning. You had an expectation, but it was your expectation of an outcome that was not God’s. In that context, God can, in fact, disappoint you, and when you are disappointed—particularly when God disappoints you—almost always the next step is disillusionment.
Because it comes—you come to a place where you say, «Wow! Well, if God disappointed me, who am I? What is my life? Are these promises true?» And you’re completely disoriented because prior to that, your life is governed by and situated in the promise of God and the expectation of those promises being manifested in your life. The expectation of God never leaving you nor forsaking you! Don’t underestimate the power of what trusting in God produces in your life! Right now, many of us, the only reason why we haven’t lost our minds is because we’re believing a promise! Are you tracking with me?
The only reason why we’re still in Colorado, or still in California, or still where we are, is because we’re believing in a promise of God. And God is faithful, and that’s why we’re here! The only reason why some of us haven’t put a gun in our mouths—can we have a real conversation in here right now? You have been through some things that have wiped out people who were not standing and believing in a promise.
So the promises of God and the presence of God in your life situates you in a particular way. And when you believe that God has disappointed you—and the enemy does a masterful job at trying to discredit God in your thinking—it creates disillusionment. And now you’re trying to figure out where you are, and you look up, and you find yourself in a wilderness.
Abigail Is Coming!
And so he is in this wilderness of disillusionment. The same David, the same David, the same David who took down Goliath, the same David who was so clear about who he was in God—he runs up on a giant that was three times his size, fully convinced, «You’re going down! I don’t know how it’s going to happen but it don’t matter; somehow, you are going down because God is for me—this I know! And if He’s for me, who can be against me?»
He even puts himself in harm’s way because he is convinced! The same David now has forgotten about all of that because life showed up on him at the wrong time, and he is ready to throw it all away! He is ready to become a cold-blooded killer on his way to destiny. That’s how disillusioned he is! But as we continue to read, you’re going to learn some stuff! As we continue to read it says, «In verse 18, there’s the introduction of now character 3, and her name is Abigail.»
Check this out! Are you going to love this? Everybody needs an Abigail in their life! I submit to you, everybody chosen will have an Abigail show up in their lives just at the right time. Watch this; it’s going to be good. It says, «As David now is on his way to forfeit and to completely sabotage everything that’s on his life, it says that Abigail made haste.» She took 200 loaves of bread, two skins of wine, five sheep already dressed, five shares of roasted grain, 100 clusters of raisins—yummy—and 200 cakes of figs—and loaded them on donkeys. And she said to her servants, «Go on before me; I am coming after you.» But she did not tell her husband Nabal.
Nabal, I want you to know his wife by the way—her husband was a fool! «You’re going to ruin it for all of us!» She gathers her stuff, gives it to her servants, puts it on donkeys, sends it ahead of her, and then she goes on—don’t say nothing to this fool! And so it was that she rode on the donkey. Now watch this now; this is powerful. It says that she went down under cover of the hill.
So here is this imagery: David has no idea that his miracle is on the way. He is making his way to do something crazy, but Abigail is making her way to bless him and to get him back on course. Are you tracking with me? And I want to encourage somebody. See, she is under cover of the hill, which means she was on the other side of the hill; he could not see what was on the way to him. I just believe it says some people that God wants you to know that you’re in a tough spot—that you’re in a difficult situation—and you can’t see your miracle! And you only see one way forward, and you only see one way out. But I came to describe to you today that Abigail is on the other side of your mountain!
On the other hill—after Abigail is coming. Pop somebody say, Abigail is coming! Abigail is coming! Abigail is coming! You are not forsaken; you are not forgotten! The moment that this thing started, God had prepared an Abigail! She’s coming! She’s coming! She’s coming! She’s coming! Your steps are being ordered! She’s coming! She’s coming! It’s not unto death; it’s coming! And all you’ve got to do is just survive it!
Abigail is coming! I can’t wait to tell you what Abigail means! Have you heard? Abigail is coming! Abigail is coming! You’re next! You’re next!
This Is Normal for Champions
Can you see David? Can you see David? Can anything worse happen to David? He’s already having a bad day—a bad day! That was enough! And then you lose the representation of your hope!
He’s on his way to kill Nabal, not realizing that—this is kind of crazy—but not realizing that what came out of the same house that brought him pain—deliverance was on its way out of the same situation that you’re lamenting. Are you tracking with me? Deliverance is coming! Are you hearing me? That same thing that broke your heart—that same thing that made you want to jump off a bridge—I hear God saying, «Out of the ashes, I will…» for those who love God and are called according to His purpose—out of the same house of your confusion comes your miracle!
Abigail is coming! High-five somebody! Say Abigail is coming! Abigail is coming!
You’ve got to study when you get a chance, but in essence, Abigail rose up, and she talks David out of what he is getting ready to do. She reminds David of who he is; she reorients David with his identity, his purpose, and his destiny.
Does anybody have an Abigail in your life right now? Come on, somebody! You need people around you that will reorient you when you get off track! And then she says something to the effect of this: she says, «David, my husband is a fool; don’t worry about that.» She says, «David, this huge thing on your life—and when God gets finished doing everything He spoke concerning you, you won’t even remember this moment in your life! Just survive the moment!»
Just survive it! There are some in this room right now; there are some under the sound of my voice, and you are expending cognitive energy trying to figure out what to do next! And I hear God say, «Take a moment! Don’t try to figure out what to do next; just survive this thing, baby!» Because let me tell you something really quickly about champions—every champion experiences certain things in life that are so confusing that they bring you to the point of quitting.
Watch this: until you discover that those things are actually normal for champions! See, David in the future goes through even more difficult things, but his response is different because he recognizes now what is normal for a champion! I feel the Holy Spirit!
You’re in Training
As I was preparing for this, I started thinking about Navy SEALs, and I started thinking about the training and the preparation that Navy SEALs go through.
Watch this: Navy SEALs are trained in adversity so that trouble becomes normal! You didn’t catch it! Did you catch it? They’re trained in adversity so that trouble becomes normal, so that they can continue on when most people give up! Come on, champions! The only thing that separates champions from everybody else is their quitting point! It’s a quitting point! So they’re trained in treacherous circumstances so that treachery—and I made up a word—can become their normal!
Let me give you another analogy: I trained in Krav Maga a few years ago. It’s wonderful! And when I first started learning it, the instructor would just randomly come up and surprise-hit me, like, «What are you doing?»
I’d get back in my position and you know what I mean. And I haven’t done it in a while, but I can still strike you! Don’t play with me! But anyway! He wouldn’t; he would just randomly come up and pop me, «What are you doing?» And it was shock at first, and then I learned later why he was doing it.
He was trying to get me used to being hit so that I can stay focused if I’m ever in a fight. I won’t be so shocked by the blow that it disorients me and I can’t protect myself! Are you tracking with me? There are some people in there right now, and life is slapping you around! But it’s not slapping you to kill you; it’s slapping you to prepare you for what’s coming on the next level! You’re in training!
But no one told me that at first! At first, he’s laughing, and I’m like, «Dude, what are you doing? I’m paying you to help me, not hurt me! And he’s like, and that’s exactly what I’m doing! I can’t have you be shocked when a punch comes, that it disorients you and debilitates you! And life right now is slapping you because it’s getting you ready! God is teaching you how to take a punch because if you know how to take two punches, you can take a punch! Are you tracking with me? That’s all it is!
Saul—this is normal for champions! This is normal!
Abigail Means „Father of Joy“ — The Potter’s Spin
He’s at the lowest point of his life, not realizing that God is just training him. I think I want to wrap up by saying these couple of things: First of all, every chosen person has—again, has an Abigail. An Abigail is a secret weapon that God always has in play! When He’s getting ready to allow you to go through something, there’s an Abigail always in play!
It is a secret to you because it’s coming towards you on the other side of the hill, and at the right moment, it’s going to show up in your life to reorient you with who you are, who God is, and what God has for you. Now let me tell you what Abigail means and then we’re done. Abigail—the literal meaning of Abigail literally means „father of joy.“
Father of joy! Strange! But anyway, „Father of joy“; Abigail! Somebody named her daughter „Father of Joy!“ Praise the Lord! But if you dig down into those words that produce the word Abigail, there are two words—Ab and then Gail, of course, means „father.“ And in „jeel, “ if you break that word down, it literally means a revolution or a spin! A revolution or a spin.
And so I’m thinking, okay—what is that? Like, like David has this experience; he’s become something else; he’s gone in the wilderness; he sees—crazy’s bugging out—and he’s on his way to completely destroy and sabotage his life because of what he’s going through. And then Abigail shows up and explains to him who he is, and where he’s headed, and reorients him.
So Abigail—father of joy—or the father who spins, and then it hit me! It’s God the Father who is the Potter and we, His children, who are the clay. And when God is shaping us, it feels like we’re spinning! And we’re confused, and we are disoriented, and we are unorganized, and we are afraid, and we don’t know who we are becoming! But God does not tell us in that moment that that’s what He’s doing!
But He will send an Abigail to you to remind you that He’s got you! The wonderful thing about the Potter and the clay, if you ever look at that process—I think God is at the potter’s house—but the wonderful thing about that, and one thing that you must never forget about the Potter—is that as He is shaping clay, His hand is always on the clay! Just imagine—I would have found being a good son of my father; I would have had an image behind me with this pottery thing spinning, but I’ll get it next time! Amen?
But I want you to imagine clay being shaped by the potter. His hands are always on the clay! The clay is moving around, and it is disfigured, and it is deformed, and you can’t tell what it’s going to be! And it is just—it’s just crazy! And you know all that, but when God gets—well, first of all, His hand is always on it, and there’s always a strategy in the mind of the one whose hands are always on it.
And when God gets finished with it, it becomes everything that He envisioned! Just survive it! Know that no matter where you are on your journey, on the potter’s wheel—and even when—we’re all—let me tell you that right now—we’re all spinning! We’re spinning right now! Sometimes it’s just in certain seasons. He has to spin a little faster; you get a little dizzy and disoriented!
But the reality of it is, whether you’re spinning slow, where you can manage it, or fast, where God is moving—you know sometimes there’s an acceleration in your life because God is going to accelerate some things! So sometimes you’re spinning on that wheel, it goes faster, and you’re like, „Oh God, I don’t understand!“ Remember: even though you feel disoriented, you are safely oriented and perfectly positioned in the hands of the one that’s shaping you! Are you tracking with me?
Altar Call & Closing Prayer
I’ve got to stop right there. I want to pray for some people here this afternoon. If you’re here, and you feel like God was speaking right to you, if you’re here and you just know, „Man, I’ve got my word, and I’ve been trying to figure it out, and I’ve been going crazy, and I’ve been doing a little bit of this, and I’ve been losing myself, and I’ve been on the brink of compromise, and doing some things that are unlike me,"—and I heard God speak to me today, and He just said, «Just survive it, because Abigail is coming!»
If that’s you, just stand up; I want to pray for you. If that’s you in Denver, stand up! I want to pray for you! If that’s you online, I just want you to lift your hand and receive—there’s someone I want to pray. I want to pray; I want to pray! My wife is here; honey, can you come pray please?
Father God, You’re the only one who knows what we’re going through. You’re the only one who sees all and knows all and knows the end from the beginning. God, I ask that you would give us the strength to survive this test that we’re up against. That You would give us focus, clarity, and vision that unleashes the next dimension of who we are. Father God, I ask right now on behalf of every hand that is lifted, every heart that is open, that you would begin to reveal to us the truest version of ourselves. I prophesy right now in the name of Jesus that this battle we’re fighting right now, we will no longer have to fight anymore! I claim victory right now in the name of Jesus!
I claim conquering right now in the name of Jesus! God, dig down into their souls until overcoming is all that springs forth out of them! Deep down on the inside of them until hope comes springing out of them! Because the time to afford to be our own worst enemy any longer is over! Teach us how to thrive in this wilderness because we know you didn’t place us in it to die!
New life, new oil, new creativity, new vision, new identity, new strength, new purpose, new relationships! Please, okay, move forward! Then I may lay hold of your great and perfect will for my life. I receive your strength! I receive your spirit! I receive your vision for my life! Let it consume me, O God, and take over every part of me that I may be a testimony. In Jesus' name!
