Sid Roth - Supernatural Prayers to Change Your Life
TOPICS: Prayer

Sid Roth: Hello. Welcome. Welcome to my world where it's naturally supernatural. I had the high privilege of meeting a woman by the name of Kathryn Kuhlman, who is now in Heaven, the greatest miracle ministry I have ever witnessed with my eyes. And she said, "I can tell you the year, the month, the day and the hour that this miracle ministry came upon him". And my guest can tell you the year, the month, the day and the hour that a great mantle for miracles came upon him, and he wants to teach you how you can walk in those same supernatural miracles. Are you interested? Guillermo Maldonado, and Guillermo, you have always had miracles. But something new is going on with you. But I want to whet your appetite. Tell me one recent creative miracle.

Guillermo Maldonado: One of the most powerful miracles I've seen was, this woman, I was ministering in the Netherlands. And as I ministered, the power of God fell. And this woman ran to the altar and she starts screaming. She said, "I am filled! I am filled"! I said, "What do you mean, I am filled"? She goes, "Twenty years ago, my womb had been renewed because of cancer". So she said, "I was empty and now the power of God fell on me and I feel that I'm full. So I went back to the doctor". This is documented. "Went back to the doctor and the doctor said, 'Well you got a brand new womb'", a 20-year-old girl, a brand new womb.

Sid Roth: How does that doctor look at this and no go a little berserk?

Guillermo Maldonado: So he said, "This is God". I mean, he had to recognize it was God. Because he said, "I removed the womb, so now you got a brand new womb".

Sid Roth: Now I have to tell you. Although Guillermo has been walking in miracles probably almost as long as he's been a believer, he's at a different point now. And I told you when we were talking on the telephone that when I heard your message, I heard something different in your voice. There was a softness, a tenderness. Yes, you were soft before, yes you were tender before, but not, something's happened to you. What's happened?

Guillermo Maldonado: What happened, I received the baptism of love. Those that are watching are saying, what is that? I never heard about that. The Bible talks about different kinds of baptisms. And one time I was ministering and praying to the Lord and I get into the presence of God, and suddenly I felt like a liquid thing like water falling into my head and into my back. And I turned around and looked at the roof, and I didn't see anything. And I said, what is this? I'm feeling something liquid. And the Lord said, "That is my liquid love". That moment I fell on the floor. I started weeping and crying. And the question is what happened afterwards.

Sid Roth: I have to ask you a question. When this is going on, when this is going on, you call it liquid love. Did you feel like, for instance, I have felt this love myself, and when I felt it, it was almost like going from heat to air conditioning. It was tangible.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: What did you feel?

Guillermo Maldonado: That's the same thing. I felt like water falling like oil coming into my head.

Sid Roth: Did you think there was a leak in the roof?

Guillermo Maldonado: Yeah, that's what I thought.

Sid Roth: Really?

Guillermo Maldonado: That's what I thought. I turned around. I didn't see anything. And I keep feeling that liquid love. And after this, it was suddenly I knew, Sid, I knew that I had God's perspective toward people.

Sid Roth: So okay, now give me an example of this liquid love how you react to people now, maybe different than before.

Guillermo Maldonado: Okay. The moment, there's so many things that happen after you receive the baptism of love. It's a supernatural love, by the way. So the moment I received that liquid love, I start praying for certain people, and I saw that I didn't pray like before. It was like such a compassion. I was moved to do something. When I saw somebody sick, when I saw somebody oppressed, I suddenly changed my perspective with people. And second, Sid, that moment when I received the liquid love, I received that I died to self. It was like selflessness, which is being empty of yourself happen in my heart. And God filled me completely with His love. So that was the moment when I said something happened to me.

Sid Roth: Tell me, well I could hear it. I heard it in your voice. I absolutely did.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: Without knowing anything that you're telling me right now.

Guillermo Maldonado: Right.

Sid Roth: Give me one person that you were moved towards and explain.

Guillermo Maldonado: Okay. You know, there was a person that, one night, for example, there were so many people that the Lord said, "I will show you how the heart is connected, how the heart is connected to their state of their life". And this person came to me, 40 years, 40 years being deaf, I'm sorry, deaf. And I just got close to the person. I didn't even speak to the person. I just hugged, and that person completely got healed. And there's another person. I mean, two weeks ago, this lady, 14 years deaf, completely deaf. And the Lord said, "Just hug her because my love is on you". I got close to her, I mean, just love her, and that moment, God, boom, God opened her ears. So miracles like that.

Sid Roth: You know, there is a missing ingredient and that is a word called "transformation".

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes, yes.

Sid Roth: And this missing ingredient...

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: When we come back, we're going to talk about it. But most true believers in the Messiah have some sort of an experience with God and that's what catapults them into being a believer in the Messiah. But then they stagnate.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes, yes.

Sid Roth: They're sort of like my Jewish people walking in the desert for 40 years in a big circle, when they're only one week away from the Promised Land. When we come back, I want you to understand transformation.

Sid Roth: Okay, there's a word, transformation. Guillermo, what does that word mean to you?

Guillermo Maldonado: Transformation, Romans 12:1 and 3, the Bible talks about being transformed, being conformed into this age, into this world. And also the Bible talks about being transformed from glory to glory. Okay, the word transformation means to in transit into the maturity of Jesus Christ, to be like Jesus Christ. It's the process to lead us, is a process to lead us into being like Christ. First, we need to understand transformation is continual, it's instant, continues and progressive. In other words, the moment you stop being transformed, you stagnate, you get into spiritual dryness and you become religious. That's why you see many people, religious people don't believe in transformation because they're already stagnated. And this is the greatest problem with stagnation, is because you only stagnate and stop right there. You're going backwards. You're going into the old habits. That's what the Bible says, you must be transformed.

Sid Roth: You know, I heard a wise man say this. If you are sitting still you're actually going backwards and you don't know it.

Guillermo Maldonado: That's what it is. That's what it is. And I see..

Sid Roth: It's deception.

Guillermo Maldonado: Deception. That what it is. That's what religion is. When you conform, you stop being transformed, you conform to another reality, which is your flesh, which is my flesh. And but there's something that people are watching right now. There's people that are watching and they're seeing, I need transformation. There's three things that birth transformation. Number one, spiritual and satisfaction, and frustration. Sometimes you feel frustrated. You don't want to be in that place. You don't want to change. You go into another level. You went into another dimension. You want to go into another dimension. Number two, hunger. There's people that are watching that you're hungry for God. You want more, and but you don't know. And number three, this is very powerful. If you have exhausted all the resources and you're still in the same place, and you don't change, this is a time for change.

Sid Roth: Okay. He's been talking about you. I'm not just saying that. He's been talking about me. You say that. Now tell them what they can do to be transformed supernaturally rather than stuck.

Guillermo Maldonado: And Sid, they need to know where they're going to be transformed from, because transformation is in transit to be like Christ. In other words, me being changed, another word for transformation is "change". In other words, me being transformed, me being changed from glory to glory. So but this is what I want to talk, is why we need to change as being believers. The question is, is transformation one time? It's not. And sometimes when believers came to Christ, they were dramatically changed, but they stagnated. They did not continue being changed. So that's why the heart of God hardened. And the heart of God hardened for unbelief. The causes of the heart: unbelief, sin and disobeying the voice of God. When God is doing, when sin comes in our heart, continued sin is being practiced. Sin: Now could someone have this hardened heart and not even realize it?

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes, yes, because it's little by little. And the question is, what is a hardened heart?

Sid Roth: Right.

Guillermo Maldonado: Is a heart that doesn't feel? Is a heart that doesn't sense, doesn't see, doesn't perceive? You can be in the presence of God. You see a lot of people receiving but you. And you say, well the person is not receiving because they're not sensing. They don't receive, they don't receive, they don't feel God.

Sid Roth: And when Guillermo is talking about a hardened heart, he's not talking about the physical heart. He's talking about the resting place of the Spirit of God inside of you.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: It's kind of a synonym for heart and spirit are the same. And has He been touching on things with you? Are things dry when you read the Bible?

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes, yes.

Sid Roth: That same fire, that same excitement?

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: That's what you're telling me.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes, that's what I'm saying. There's people there hungry for God. There some other people that stagnate, because where the revelation truth stops, that's where you stop being transformed. And it's important because of the hardening of the heart. And this causes the hardening of the heart. And number four, solutions for the hardening of the heart. Well you can't change the heart outside of the presence of God. You must be in the presence of God and this is the step that we need to take forward to change the heart. So do you feel the need of change? Do you feel stagnated? Have you exhausted all your resources and you're still in the same place? That's very hard. Pastors, leaders, believers that are struggling and they say, I'm tired of this, I want to change. And that's the reason I teach in how to change, step by step. But you can change it in the natural because transformation is supernatural. You can't do transformation because, only because of nice positive thinking. You can produce power being positive. You need the power. You need the presence of God being changed. The hardened heart, and I can tell you people that went away totally from God because the heart was hardened.

Sid Roth: And it's deceptive because it's like it's slow. It's just very, very gradual. Remember, you're either in the Kingdom of Heaven there's only one position, forward.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: If you're sitting still, you are deceived and you're going backwards. Give us a clue, a nugget on how we can change that hardened heart.

Guillermo Maldonado: Transformation of the heart, it takes place, Sid, first with through a supernatural encounter with the Holy Spirit, with God, with His presence, with His power. What do you mean? When you go to the scripture you will see all the men in the Bible that impacted nations, kingdoms, and even in nature, they had a supernatural encounter with God. In other words, and the opposite, you don't see in the Bible a man that never had an encounter impacted anything. You just see those men that have a supernatural encounter because those supernatural encounters must be continual, must be often. Because in those supernatural encounters, their heart is being changed, being transformed. That's the reason of the purpose of transformation is the changing of the heart, is through the supernatural. Number two, through fellowship, prayer and communion. In fellowship with God, He imparts himself to you. In fellowship, that exchange of life. And when we go to God, but the thing is today people don't pray, don't seek God, don't have any fellowship, how are you going to be changed? And number three is through the revelation of truth. In other words, with truth you cannot be changed without truth, and when that truth comes in our heart, our heart becomes softer. And I can tell you so many blessings.

Sid Roth: You know what I would like?

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: When we come back, I want Guillermo to pray for you. I want him to pray that ice, that shell, it's like an eggshell that is around you.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes, yes.

Sid Roth: It's going to be penetrated in Jesus' name.

Sid Roth: So what is transformation?

Guillermo Maldonado: Transformation is the process that leads us into be like Christ. The purpose of transformation is to be like Christ, to change the heart, to be used as a vessel to carry the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory of God.

Sid Roth: Okay. That begs the question now, and this is a word you don't hear much and you may not like it. I got you now. Surrender, what does that mean.

Guillermo Maldonado: Surrender is a part that has yielded to the Holy Spirit, yielded to God, yielding your insecurities, yielding your fears, yielding yourself. And we don't believe in surrender any more. So in other words, we have to yield the natural to receive the supernatural. Surrender is an exchange. In other words, you know the Anointing works through an exchange. In other words, we yield to God and God will release what He has for us. But today, unfortunately, because of many messages, hyper grace, positive thinking, self-help gospel, we, they empower self. They don't believe in denying our self. What about when the Bible talks about, present your body in a living sacrifice? What about when in the Bible when Paul says, "I die daily".

Sid Roth: Wait a second. I never hear that spoken in congregations. Why, Guillermo? Why don't they say that?

Guillermo Maldonado: Because we empower self and that's the reason we don't have power in the church. The access to power is through surrender and dying to self. In other words, if we want to access power like Jesus did, Jesus went to the Jordan and Jordan represented dying to self. But the question is what Jesus had to die to, he didn't have any sin, Jesus had to die to be God. Jesus had to die to be God. In other words, he had to die to be God. So us, we have so many areas to die to.

Sid Roth: So he was demonstrating supernatural humility and he couldn't do that without the power of the Holy Spirit, and you can't do that without the power of the Holy Spirit. Now when you taught on this with 250 people, tell me what happened.

Guillermo Maldonado: Okay, because the condition of the heart is the condition of your life. If you want to change your life, if you're tired of the way your life is going, so you must change your heart, because the heart is the seat of the presence of God. God has two thrones: one in Heaven, one in our heart. So in that seat of the presence of God, so the state of your heart will determine the state of your life. So that's the reason we need to change the heart. So if you're tired of your life, you need to change your heart. So one time I was ministering and the Lord said to me, "I just want you to see. I'm going to show you how sicknesses, depression, diseases are connected to the heart". And I said, "How many people are sick, oppressed, depression and all kinds of sickness, come up to the altar". I will say like maybe 400 came unto the altar. And the moment I take them to surrender, insecurities, unforgiveness, to forgive and to deal with the heart, in that moment, Sid, 250 people, I say, "How many people are sick"? And they told like 250 people got healed instantaneously.

Sid Roth: But you know, when I read the New Testament, that's normal.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: According to the Bible. But it is abnormal according to religion. I want you to pray a supernatural prayer right now.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: So that everyone would be normal, normal as defined by the Bible.

Guillermo Maldonado: I want to pray with you and I want you to stretch your hands. First, you need to surrender. You can't be fighting in your own ability. You need to yield your heart to Jesus. You need to forgive. You need to release it. And that moment I will heal, restore you and deliver you. Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, right now where you are in your place, in your home, in your office, Father, I release the presence of God, the presence of the Holy Spirit, fall in your place, in your office right now, the power of God. Father, I pray for supernatural encounter for those people that are watching. I pray, Father, those people that are frustrated and unsatisfied, and they don't know what to do, stagnated, release the power and the presence of God and their heart be changed, the heart be transformed. There's people right now being healed because you release and forgive. You just release fear. You're being set free of fear in your mind. Be touched, be activated in the supernatural. Be transformed and those with a hardened heart, right now the presence of God fall on you. And you are being changed into glory, into the Glory of God. From glory to glory, receive now. Amen and amen.

Sid Roth: And as Guillermo was praying, I also heard someone is getting a new hip and someone with arthritis in their fingers, it's gone. There's no more pain. But I want you to experience having intimacy with God. Let's start out. Let's cover this space. The Messiah died for you. The Messiah paid the price for your sins. The Messiah rose from the dead. The Messiah wants to live inside of you. Say this prayer with me out loud and mean it to the best of your ability. Dear God...

Guillermo Maldonado: Dear God.

Sid Roth: I'm a sinner.

Guillermo Maldonado: I'm a sinner.

Sid Roth: Against you.

Guillermo Maldonado: Against you.

Sid Roth: And you alone.

Guillermo Maldonado: And you alone.

Sid Roth: Have I sinned.

Guillermo Maldonado: Have I sinned.

Sid Roth: And I'm so sorry.

Guillermo Maldonado: And I'm so sorry.

Sid Roth: I believe

Guillermo Maldonado: I believe

Sid Roth: That Jesus died for my sins.

Guillermo Maldonado: That Jesus died for my sins.

Sid Roth: And I am clean.

Guillermo Maldonado: I am clean.

Sid Roth: And now that I am clean

Guillermo Maldonado: Now that I am clean

Sid Roth: I ask you Lord Jesus

Guillermo Maldonado: I ask you Lord Jesus

Sid Roth: To come inside of me.

Guillermo Maldonado: To come inside of me.

Sid Roth: Take over my life.

Guillermo Maldonado: Take over my life.

Sid Roth: I make you Lord of my life

Guillermo Maldonado: I make you Lord of my life.

Sid Roth: Amen. That means so be it.

Guillermo Maldonado: Yes.

Sid Roth: And the Bible says if you confess with your mouth, you will believe in your heart and you shall be a child of the Living God. Hold that head up high.

Guillermo Maldonado: Come on.

Sid Roth: You're a child of the Living God.

Guillermo Maldonado: Thank you Jesus.
