Sid Roth - Soaking with the Father
Sid Roth: Hello. Welcome to my world where it's naturally supernatural. You say, Sid, have you lost it? No I walk around with pillows all the time under my arm. Some of you have Teddy bears. No, I'm just teasing. But we're doing something interactive that I don't know if it's ever been done before. I am going to mentor you in the lost art of soaking. And I've asked my friend Julie True, and if you've never heard her music you're in for quite a treat. The presence of God is so strong. I thought, what if I could get Julie True who is a New Covenant psalmist, and the presence of God that has been in our studio since we've been here, combine the two. And I want you to grab a pillow because in the third segment, you are going to soak and we're going to mentor you on how to soak. And by the way, I'm not the only one meshuggah. That's a Hebrew word that means crazy. I got a whole studio full of meshugganah people. Don't I?
Sid Roth: Hello. Sid Roth here with Julie True. And Julie, I have to tell you, your music, it literally, I believe it's changing DNA in people, in their spirit, in their body. Especially, more and more people are talking about a concept called soaking. But most people have never even heard about soaking as far as what it really means. They've heard the term, but they don't know what it means. What does soaking mean to you?
Julie True: Well it's a time of rest. It's a time to quiet your mind, be awakened in your spirit and it's a time to be still and know that He is God. You know, in our soaking times, anyway, it's not like we have the only definition necessarily of soaking. But in our soaking room it's our time to pray. It's not a time to worship out loud. It's not a time to pray in tongues, be doing something. It's a time to receive, to be still.
Sid Roth: You know, that's a hard thing for us here in America to do, not do anything. Just be still before God. We were talking before we went on the air about Samuel and how he would literally soak. Explain that.
Julie True: Yeah. I think that was the same thing. It's resting in the presence of the Lord. And when he heard God calling him, you know, he said, "What are you saying"? He said, "Here am I. I'm listening". And I feel that is the same way with soaking. It's like a time when you be still, you are still and you can hear God talking to you and you get lots of revelation.
Sid Roth: Now when people soak in you soaking center, what types of things happen to them?
Julie True: We hear many kinds of testimonies. But some of them are people being healed of insomnia, babies being able to sleep that have their schedules turned around, people with Alzheimer's being greatly improved, emotional healing, healing from mental illness, physical types of healing. We had some amazing testimonies about people's blood pressure that stabilized as they were listening to my music and with their vital signs being read, and things like that.
Sid Roth: You know what? I don't want Julie to just tell you what happens to other people. I want it to happen to you. Julie, if you would go to our music set, and I want you to worship God and I want that same presence that Samuel was baking under in the temple to come upon you. Because I believe that as you soak, you prepare your heart to receive something special from God. And the third segment, get a pillow ready and you are going to, actually the whole third segment we're going to have you soak before God and you will be changed. Julie True.
Julie True: All that is within me, all that is within me, all that is within me bless your holy name. La, la, la, la, la, la, la...Al that is within me, all that is within me, all that is within me bless your holy name. Let the name of the Lord be lifted high, let the name of the Lord be lifted high. Jesus, Jesus. Let the name of the Lord be lifted high, let the name of the Lord be lifted high. Jesus, Jesus. Every part of my heart I gives you praise, with every part of my heart I give you praise. Every part of my heart I give you praise, with every part of my heart I give you praise...
Sid Roth: You know, many of my guests, especially that move in the miraculous have been saying, one of the keys for moving in the miraculous is worship. For instance, I think of Benny Hinn. If you've ever gone to one of his miracle services, worship is the thing that causes the miracles to happen. Or I interviewed Don Gossett and he said, you have to live a life of worship. And then Dr. Norvel Hayes. I remember when I was a young believer in the Messiah, he had 10, 12 businesses, many of them million-dollar businesses, and he would say, "Every morning I get up and I just worship God and tell Him how wonderful He is, and how I'm so grateful that I know Him". Julie True, why should people worship?
Julie True: Well the number one thing is because He's God and you know, and we worship out of a place of thankfulness. I mean, that's kind of the bottom line with worship is just a place of thankfulness, whether we're worshiping or praising, or just soaking in His presence. And so it opens up the heavens over your life. It makes impossibilities possible. And God has just been saying to me, "I live in our praises, I live in your praises, and that I am present in your praises". And so I believe that we need to have an ongoing conversation and a worship conversation with Him all the time in our everyday life. I agree with the person that you mentioned.
Sid Roth: You know, I believe worship makes you irresistible to God. One of the things that you do that I love is you sing the psalms to the Lord. Would you give us an example of that.
Julie True: Sure. I love to take just a sentence out of the psalms and just sing it over and over, and really connect with it, so that I'm singing it to God. So an example would be from Psalm 103, All that is within me, all that is within me, all that is within me bless your holy name. All that is within me, all that is within me, all that is within me bless your holy name.
Sid Roth: Wow. The presence of God is so sweet. Julie, if you would go to the music set. And right after this word, I'm going to tell you something. This is interactive. You are no longer a couch potato and a spectator. You are ready to be called up to front and center. I mean, this is the last act, the last scene of the last play before the Messiah returns. And it's time that you are changed, and you are going to be transformed as we're going to, when we come back we're going to have an old fashion, maybe a Samuel type of soaking session.
Julie True: You take all that I am, you take all that I have, you take all that I was and will ever be, weave it into a beautiful tapestry. You take the ashes of my life, breathe into them your fire light. You take the little that's in my heart and you bring me increases as I need them to pour it out. You take all that I am, you take all that I have, you take all that I was and will ever be, weave it into a beautiful tapestry.
Sid Roth: Now I told you that this was going to be interactive. I don't want you to be anonymous. I want you to partake. Here's the scripture I have for you and for you. The same spirit that rose Messiah Jesus from the dead, that Holy Spirit was so powerful, that rose Jesus from the dead is going to give life, not just life, the life of God, the life of God to your mortal flesh. What do you need in your mortal flesh? Do you need your vision to be fulfilled? Do you need your healing in your body? Do you need pain to disappear? Do you need some traumas that you've had in your life to just disappear? Whatever you need I want you to lay down right where you are. Hopefully you got your pillow with you. Don't lay down anyway. And we're all going to soak right now.
Julie True: I release my inhibitions. I release my preconditions. I release myself for what you want to do. I lay down my cares and burdens, all that's fearful and uncertain. I release, I release it to you. I release my gloom and sadness. I release my hate and madness. I release myself for what you want to do. I lay down my pride and passions, all the things in life and fractions. I release, I release it to you. O sing glory, glory hallelujah to Jesus for all the freedom you bring. La, la, la, la, la, la, la.... I release, I release it to you. I release faith less your vision, I release God, I release myself for what you want do. I lay down my life for you Lord, all I am and all I live for you. I release, I release it to you. O sing glory, glory hallelujah to you Jesus for all the freedom bring. La, la, la, la, la, la, la.... I release, I release it to you. La, la, la, la, la, la, la.... I release, I release it to you. O sing glory, glory hallelujah to you Jesus for all the freedom you bring. La, la, la, la, la, la, la.... I release, I release it to you. I release, I release, I release myself for what you want to do. I lay down, I lay down, I release, I release it to you. La, la, la, la, la, la, la.... I release it to you everything that keeps me from you, letting it go... No more fear, no more. No more shame, no more. No more unforgiveness. Letting it go...La, la, la, la, la, la, la....
Sid Roth: Someone once said, definition of insanity: do things the same way and expect different results. You're meshuggah, you're crazy. Listen, I just want you to be normal, normal as defined by the Bible. I want you to hear God's voice. I want you to fulfill your destiny. And by soaking every day, by praying in supernatural languages, in tongues every day, you are going to sensitize yourself to the spirit of God. An eye has not seen, an ear has not heart all that God has in store for you. Yes, you. I'm going to soak some more.
