Sid Roth - Say These Words and Get Healed NOW
Sid Roth: He, many times will go into an auditorium and see the person healed before they get healed, I call this moving into the realm of heaven where there is no time, so obviously if you can move into the spirit, his name Michael Hinson, also here Joan Hunter, Joan you met last week Joan is the daughter of Charles and France Hunter, who are real pioneers in miracles. And Michael you're almost minding your own business, you've never seen miracles, you've never heard voices from God or such things, in fact did you believe in miracles 25 years ago when you ended up at a happy Hunter meeting?
Michael Hinson: I think I was probably the biggest skeptic in the room, there were 10,000 of us in an auditorium and I sat in the back with my arms crossed not believing any of this to be true, but I went thinking maybe I could see a miracle, and if I saw a miracle then maybe I could grab a hold of the one true God, maybe somehow he could manifest himself.
Sid Roth: What did you see?
Michael Hinson: I had absolutely no idea what I was going to see, I got there and not only did I see one, I saw so many I couldn't count them, and they were by my hands, and they were by the hands of believers that came just like I did, skeptical want to see a miracle, they were praying for people and they were getting healed, lives were being changed, I literally had to ask myself, Lord, what just happened? I had never seen anything like that. I had been taught all this stuff went out with the disciples and one church I went to told me it was of the devil, I saw people getting healed and giving joy and praise to Jesus name.
Sid Roth: And you heard for the first time in your life the voice of God, what did he say?
Michael Hinson: Well I was actually, it was the second day of the meeting, the meeting had just ended and I went back to my room and they were going to have another meeting in Jacksonville, the Hunters were, I think in four months, and when I was there I had heard about the meeting, was excited about going to it, audibly I heard a voice said, you're going to head up that Jacksonville healing explosion, it hit me so hard I said it out loud and my roommate, the guy I was sharing the room with turned to me and said, what are you saying? I said I just heard this, you're going to head up the Jacksonville healing explosion.
Sid Roth: And you don't know anything, you didn't even believe in miracles a couple of days before?
Michael Hinson: I didn't know what a healing explosion was two days before and had absolutely no idea.
Sid Roth: So did you think that was pizza, tell the truth, that voice?
Michael Hinson: It was something that so centered me, and so shook me, I had never experienced anything like it before. You couldn't have chiseled it out of me with a sledge Hammer and a chisel, it just wasn't going to go, it became part of who I was but I didn't say anything else to anyone else about it because it sounded foolish to my roommate when I looked at him with a bewildered look, I figured there was no need to repeat it to anyone else. Three days later after all the meetings were over, Charles and Frances Hunter, now this is a meeting with 10,000 people in it, at the end of the meeting they came up to me and they said, listen, are you from Jacksonville? And I said, yes, I am from Jacksonville, that's where I'm living right now. He said, the Lord told us that you were going to head up the Jacksonville healing explosion, will you take the job? I said, I don't know anything about healing explosions, I have no idea what the job entails but I'm your man, take me.
Sid Roth: And as a result you ended up almost being adopted by the Hunters, he became almost your brother.
Joan Hunter: Unhuh.
Sid Roth: And did you realize 25 years ago the two of you would be heading up a ministry, and I have to tell you, it's almost like you get the knowledge for the surgery, you perform the operation, the power flows through you, and Michael, you direct the laser, is that a good description of the way the two of you operate?
Michael Hinson: Well it may be more, I guess that's it, I move more in opening the door for repentance and when people, when they repent, and their hearts are open, Joan moves in with the power ministry and the miracles and what we see, sometimes we have to sit in awe at the end of a meeting, and if we had not just seen it with our own eyes, and seen it repeatedly with our own eyes, it would be difficult to explain, I tell people I know about what the meetings were like, in fact my pastor after hearing about them over and over again decided on his own he was going to run to one of the meetings, he came on his own he could not speak for days after he came to the meetings, he came for three days, he went back after just attending the meetings, Joan never laid hands on him he just sat and watched her, the people he started praying for from that point on started getting healed and touched and changed. The anointing just flows, it is just, there are no words to describe it.
Sid Roth: Here's what I believe, I believe someone can get on a plane and go to your meeting and have that same thing happen, but I believe that God is in a hurry, and I believe that everyone that gets a hold of this book and receives the prayer that I'm going to ask you two to pray in a moment, I believe that it's going to be just like your pastor, that's what my faith tells me, why would God love your pastor better than any other human that ever lived? What is going on with this book? I know it's a new book but it's a manual and that's what I love about it, I mean between the two of you, you've got what, close to what?
Joan Hunter: Fifty-five, sixty years almost.
Sid Roth: That's dealing with miracles.
Michael Hinson: This is my much older sister.
Sid Roth: Ah-hah, you're going to let him get away with that?
Joan Hunter: Just for a few more days and then we're the same age.
Sid Roth: Okay...
Michael Hinson: She was my older sister...
Joan Hunter: He said he'd rub it in though, but I'm wiser.
Michael Hinson: The book is really simple, had we been taught, had I been taught since I was old enough to walk that this was natural, that people getting healed by the hand of believers was natural, then when I went to that meeting, I would have thought it was natural. I was never taught these things, I didn't know they were real, but my kids have been taught since they were old enough to talk that this is natural, they do not think that there is anything uncommon about laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover, it is natural Christianity to them.
Sid Roth: Do your children pray for the sick and see them recover?
Michael Hinson: Yes, they do, they do, they pray for people and see them recover.
Sid Roth: So you're telling me your children are normal, you might be abnormal, I want you to call a friend, no you got to watch what we're going talk about, oy vey! I'll tell you what, we'll be back in a minute before I get into more trouble.
Sid Roth: I sure hope you can feel what I can feel, it's so wonderful to be in the presence of God, there's no other place I would rather be than right here, there's no better place that you could be than watching what is going on because there is going to be a demonstration of the power of God. I've got Joan Hunter here, she's the daughter of the happy Hunter's, Charles and Frances Hunter, pioneers in the miracle healing ministry, and she was raised in that, that was normal, and Michael Hinson is sort of the adopted son of the Hunters and between the two of you, you have what, fifty, sixty years of seeing some of the greatest miracles on earth. You told me Michael, that your children were raised to pray for the sick and they are seeing miracles, what about your children?
Joan Hunter: The same thing with mine, they're older, and they are in the market place and...
Sid Roth: I wish I was raised that way but we Jewish people, you have not been sharing with us.
Joan Hunter: We've been trying the best we can.
Sid Roth: Well you got the way to get our attention, the miracle grabs our attention.
Joan Hunter: Yes, miracles and signs and wonders. Right! And you know people will come in, I have a daughter that's in retail, people will come in that have, oh they lift up this hanger and whatever, ow, that hurts and carpel tunnel, she prays and carpel tunnel goes away, all the pain goes away people get healed, and oh they're checking out and they go I've got such a headache and she just prays in the name of Jesus I command that pain to go and they go, the pains gone, and you know back problems and so forth, she prays for them in the dressing room, it's incredible what God does.
Sid Roth: You know, speaking of pain, what I love is the way the two of you minister, you've got the power, you've got the strategy if you will, and you implement this strategy with the power, your two powers, the two anointings kind of merge with the strategy and the power. I want to see an actual miracle the way the two of you operate, let's take a look at this man.
Sid Roth: Did you realize that once the root cause was bound, and you know Michael many times we don't know what sin is going on, but most time people know about sin, that's what I so love about this book it states root causes for different diseases, how did you figure out, how did you two figure out what theses root cause were.
Joan Hunter: It was an experience.
Michael Hinson: They are all in the word, every single one of them is in the word. So we used the Word of God for the foundation for everyone of these things, we had tried so many different things, and we found if we go back to the root, and stay in the word, and what the biblical principles are in it, people get totally healed. When we first started we saw some people getting healed, then we saw more when we moved in the power ministry, then when we put together repentance with the power ministry we got the results that Jesus was getting. See, John the Baptist had already led the people into repentance before Jesus came, so their hearts were ready, but he did no mighty miracles so we bring people to the place of repentance, showing them things in the book that they need to change, they can see the truth of it in their heart, and then when it comes for getting healed it's instantaneous.
Sid Roth: Give me an example of a particular disease and what you teach in your book on how to be healed.
Michael Hinson: Arthritis is quit often caused by unforgiveness. Unforgiveness is root cause for
Sid Roth: Is it always caused by unforgiveness?
Michael Hinson: It doesn't have to be your unforgiveness, it can be unforgiveness back from generational curses. If your parents were not Christians serving the Lord, the Bible says the sins of the fathers can carry down to the third and fourth generation. Arthritis quite often is considered a hereditary illness.
Sid Roth: That's right because parents and grandparents have the same condition.
Michael Hinson: And they carry through. We pray for people with arthritis and what we found was if we link them with basic forgiveness, and many people don't understand basic forgiveness. We've been taught as a group that we need to forgive what the person did, but that's contradictory to the Word of God, what w need to forgive is the person, the Bible says that God separates the sin from the people as far as the east is from the west, we don't forgive the sin, we forgive the sinner, and the sin is separated, it goes to the cross of Jesus Christ. When people get that concept of forgiveness, it literally changes them, we see them over and over again, people who can't get healed get instantly healed, and we get reports of them being healed months and months and months later, lives totally changed.
Sid Roth: Now you talk in this book about how important words are, especially when someone says something, judges with their mouth other people, or they are judged.
Michael Hinson: Exactly, again the Bible talks about words and word curses, we are going to be judged for every idle word and really the words are just a picture of what is already in our heart, you get stuck in nasty traffic and things are really going bad, if you squeeze a grape, grape juice comes out, if you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out, when the pressure around you squeezes you, what comes out of your mouth is a reflection of what is in your heart.
Sid Roth: You now you've prayed for me, both of you last night, and you didn't pray anything different than you have written in this book, but I have to tell you I am so convicted by the Spirit of God, I would tremble to say something bad about a fellow believer. It's, I see it now, I mean I knew it intellectually, but I see it right now.
Michael Hinson: That's what makes this so amazing, this is so simple, it takes the practical things of life, applies them in the simplest of all ways, and people get healed like never before.
Sid Roth: He says it's simple, guess what, according to the manual, the Bible, it is simple, become like a little child. I think the two of you are like little children, we'll be right back and watch out for an explosion of miracles. That's not original,i took it from your parents.
Sid Roth: What happens to a woman whose husband runs off with a secretary, devastation, coupled with a bad back, so she goes to everyone and everyone that who's who that has a healing ministry and they pray for her, nothing. So this woman comes to one of your meetings, what happened Michael?
Michael Hinson: Actually this is one of the first meetings that we ever had, so I had been in the healing ministry for zero amount of time, so everything was new to me, and this woman came, had a severe back, took her a couple of minutes to even get seated in the chair, was in a tremendous amount of pain. Her husband had abandoned her, and this was after multiple affairs and different situations, he just took everything and for three years she was in devastation, a Christian believer who has gone from place to place to place to get healed. So I went to pray for her and in the process of praying for her I heard real clearly that she was hurting here, and so instead of taking time to pray for her back, ministered and led her in forgiveness and in the betrayal and other things, some simple prayers where she released these things, she was saying them so sincerely I was crying, I couldn't help but cry, I had never seen anybody so open, I was new in the ministry at the time, and I thought you know she looks ten years younger through tears, and she was crying, when I dried my eyes and looked at here, she was ten years younger. She sprung up out of that chair and started jumping up and down, praising God, and God just miraculously touched and healed here, when the root cause of this pain was removed from her.
Joan Hunter: The back was never prayed for, just the root cause...
Michael Hinson: We could have treated the symptom all day long, along with other people, who prayed for the symptom but not the root cause.
Sid Roth: Joan why do you have such a passion that the sick be healed?
Joan Hunter: Because I was sick and I'm healed, and I was hurting and I am healed, and my heart was broken and God has restored my heart, my finances were destroyed and God has healed the finances, every area of my like was totally destroyed, I have been healed actually multiple times throughout my life with the doctors giving me no hope when I was pregnant with my first one, and at this point 29 years ago they said that we're going to try to save the baby but there is no hope for her. And I went on to have three more and you know she's 29 and we're doing great, and-
Sid Roth: Is there any such thing as a hopeless physical condition?
Joan Hunter: In Jeremiah, it says, God says, is there anything too hard for me? The answer to that question is no.
Sid Roth: Michael, there is a sweet presence of God here right now I want either of you or both of you to pray for the sick as God directs.
Michael Hinson: This is real easy, let me do this, this is simple. I know that you are sitting there somewhat skeptical about what's going on here, I can relate a hundred percent, and others know exactly what's happening, but I can tell you that there is some here that if you are hurting in your heart, you can feel the pain and you can feel t he pressure you are not broken. God made you so that your heart would hurt to let you know there is a problem there, that it needs attention. It's the simplest of all things: search your heart even now. If there is anyone in your life that would come sit down beside you right now where you are sitting and would effect the comfort zone while you are in that room, my question to you is why? Why? Is there anybody from your past, if that is the case then you may need to consider releasing them, forgiving them, releasing the debt that they owe you. Unforgiveness is the poison we drink hoping the other person will get sick. All you have to do is release the debt.' Jesus told the people that we are like the tax collectors, the tax collectors used to sit outside the city gate and they would collect the taxes, the debt that was owed before the people could go into the temple and worship, before they cold go in the market place and trade, they had to pay the debt that was due before they could get past that wall. Jesus said cancel the debt that these people owe you: open the wall back up to your heart. I know the fears that you are feeling that you will be hurt again, things will change, it's not working for you now. Open your heart back up it's how God originally made you and when you do you will see the life and the fullness and the joy that you have not been experiencing ever since you let that wall go up. So let me just lead you in a simple prayer and just repeat this, father in the name of Jesus I release, (name the name of the person) what they did to me was sin, take the sin from them and put it on the cross of Jesus Christ. Father forgive them and release them of this sin and on the Day of Judgment I will hold no accusation against them, they will be free of this sin. Father bless them even now. For those who are doing that you are going to feel a lightness in your heart, you are going to feel life come back into your body, physically many changes will take place in you, even now.
Sid Roth: Would you pray Joan?
Joan Hunter: Yes, and many of these prayers that we have talked about today are in this book.
Sid Roth: I've noticed where you ministered to me, you were just following the book.
Joan Hunter: Unhuh.
Sid Roth: So anyone could do that.
Joan Hunter: We wrote the book following us actually, but what happens is, it's subtitled effective prayers for the body, soul and spirit, and we teach people the unforgiveness prayer and how to be released and you know, the word curses and generational curses and so forth, all of those are in here.
Michael Hinson: Ungodly covenants, and it goes on and on and on of very simple things the Bible talks about that we can make changes in, and when we do we literally change. See we believe that all sickness has a spiritual root to it, and that when you correct the things in the spirit that everything else lines up, but it's all tied together, your marriage changes, your finance changes, your whole life changes and the joy that Jesus talks about just floods your soul and you start to have that life abundant. It's not something that you have to go run down or hunt down, it is right here, it sis so easy to get it back. That's the part we get, people, people, we get email after email and letter after letter I didn't believe you, you said it was so easy, and they call us back, it is so easy.
Joan Hunter: It is.
Michael Hinson: So much so that these people are taking this and now they are going into the market place and into the churches and they are praying for other people and seeing them healed just like we are.
Sid Roth: I noticed that they're buying multiple ones of these, pray for the people Joan.
Joan Hunter: I'm going to pray for the heart because there is so much heartache in America and all around the world, we've seen it as we have literally the world this year. Father right now I the name of Jesus, touch their hearts, make their heart whole again. Father as mine was just run through a meat grinder and you just picked it up and just, you know, symbolically you put it back into my heart and into my chest so I could love again and be whole. Father right now in the name of Jesus, restore their hearts, restore their life, give them joy. In Jesus name father, lift that depression from them, lift the oppression from them, father give them hope, hope in Jesus name.
Sid Roth: While Joan was praying God spoke to me, actually it was a little before Joan was praying, that there are people watching right now that know about God but do not know him, believe in God but have not taken that next step to know him, it's not religion that I'm talking about, it's not tradition, it's for you, it's for you, it's for me it's for Michael, it's for Joan. God's got enough, I mean you have tried everything this world has to offer and there is nothing there, it's bankrupt, now is your chance, now is your invitation, I'm not saying tomorrow you won't have one, but this is all you have this moment, you don't know whether that last breath was your last breath or not. This is your moment, repent of your sins, it's no big word tell God, because you're offended him, that's who you have offended according to his word, you have offended God, that's what David said, against me, against me, God says you've offended, you've hurt me, God's too good to hurt, tell him you're sorry and ask him for the power to turn from your sins, you can't do it by yourself, but ask him in Jesus name, believe that your sins are totally washed away and then ask him to live inside of you. See I heard about you, because God knows your name, I say your ears are open now in Jesus name, ears open in Jesus name, you don't have to be religious, I had a two-word prayer, Jesus, help! And he showed up, it's the heart he's looking for, you're broken, now you can either cause that brokenness to cause meaning to come into your life or just keep feeling bad for yourself. Choose this day whom you shall serve, but as for me and my house, we're serving the Lord.
