Sid Roth - Ever Felt Angry at God?
Sid Roth: Hello Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Dr. Gwen Correll, this is a different show, different than any show that you have ever seen on television, because it is truly interactive, what I mean by that is you are not going to just sit back and have your shoes off and eating your popcorn, or drinking your beer, or whatever you are doing. This is interactive, you are going to receive many of the things that my guest have received supernaturally through the Spirit of God you will see what I am talking about. My quest Dr. Gwen Correll, went through a horrible tragedy, she was a mother, wife, three children and her husband died. And she had read books on healing and she was convinced that her husband would live. But lets go back just a little bit, Gwen as a young child you had an encounter with God, tell me about that.
Dr. Gwen Correll: I was supernaturally touch at the age of six.
Sid Roth: Six! At 30 I became to know the Messiah, now I wish that would of happen to me but go ahead.
Dr. Gwen Correll: Well a little girl had invited me to what she called a tent revival, in a small town, I went with her, I had never been to any place like that before I had never seen anything like that before. And while I was sitting there people were going to the alter and something came over me, I just got up didn't really think about it I just got up and I walked down to the alter I knelt down and a strange language flowed out of my mouth. I didn't know what happened, no one said anything to me no one had prayed for me but God had supernaturally touched me at that meeting.
Sid Roth: Now I am going to fast forward and then you are married and then all of a sudden you get on fire for God again, but your husband is dragging his feet tell me about that.
Dr. Gwen Correll: Well I got touched by the Holy Spirit I was hungry, I was on fire, I was reading all kinds of materials, I was praying, he just didn't understand, it was not in him, he just did not understand, so I began to pray for him. I just began to call those things that be not as though they were. I called him into wanting to know God, hungry for God and he began to want to win souls, he became a soul winner. And then little by little...
Sid Roth: Now if you had not taken that stance and maybe taking that stance as many Christian women when the wife gets really on fire for God and the husband is dragging his feet, or vise versa. And unfortunately there is too many divorces that go on, instead you took the time to believe God.
Dr. Gwen Correll: I was determined I wanted us to live in unity together and to want the same things, and so what God had done for me I wanted it for all of my family, I wanted it for my husband and my children, and so I was determined that the word works if you work the word.
Sid Roth: So he got hungry for God and this was your hearts desire and then when did you find out he was sick?
Dr. Gwen Correll: Well we had he had been supernaturally touched actually when we were in India, and then he had a desire, he was a business man all of his life and had a desire to start a ministry for drug addicts and alcoholics. So we had our first meeting to start this ministry and the next day we were at a church meeting and during the alter call in the service he dropped to the floor with a grand Mal seizure and four months later he was dead.
Sid Roth: Now you understood that it is Gods will that you live and not die?
Dr. Gwen Correll: Yes.
Sid Roth: He understood that, but he died and I have to ask you this, why?
Dr. Gwen Correll: I believe that he had head knowledge but it had not dropped down into his spirit. You have to have heart knowledge of the word, it has got to become real, it has got to become apart of you. And there are so many things actually I didn't know and he didn't know you know the Bible says my people Parish for lack of knowledge. Knowledge we didn't know on certain things and so he died before his time. God promises us a long life,
Sid Roth: But you didn't prepare for his death?
Dr. Gwen Correll: No I wasn't...
Sid Roth: You prepared for him to live.
Dr. Gwen Correll: Oh yes.
Sid Roth: And were you there the moment that he died?
Dr. Gwen Correll: I was in the hospital when he died, we had been playing video's healing video's for the last part of his death he was comatose and yet we just continued to speak the word, continued to believe I was speaking the word night and day. I was not going to take no for an answer, but you know when you wait till the last minute when something tragic hits your body, it is hard then to get a hold of the word and get that truth inside of you and so we were playing a video Betty Baxter, in heaven and we had that on and it was after she was showing heaven and all about heaven and right after that video he bottom lined and he died, and I believe that he made a decision. I believe he saw glory, I believe he saw a glimpse of heaven and he said I am out of here.
Sid Roth: He said I am out of here, but she is left with three young children not planning on her husband dying and she literally got angry with God we will be right back after this, you are going to want something that is going to change your life, because Gwen has told me already that there are healing words that are about ready to flow, it is interactive we will be right back after this word, don't go away.
Sid Roth: Hello Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Dr. Gwen Correll what happens when your husband dies, you are both young, you have three young children, you don't expect this, you don't believe that it could happen, but it happened. And you got angry with God and literally as I understand it, it is a natural thing for a widow to grieve for her husband. There is nothing wrong with that, but yours was beyond natural explain that.
Dr. Gwen Correll: I became very angry with God, angry with everyone. I became very depressed, I shut myself down, I would not answer the phone I wouldn't go to the door, I didn't want to see anyone, I didn't want to go to church, I didn't want to go anywhere. And I became angry and I said God why did this happen to me? You know I am a good person, I try to do what is right. Why me what did I do? And you begin to blame yourself and you begin to blame everyone else.
Sid Roth: And why did you happen to go one day to Pensacola Florida, the Brownsville assembly of God church, why did you go?
Dr. Gwen Correll: Someone had come to my family and told them that there was a great revival move of God in Florida. And they said maybe you need to go there and take her, and they mentioned it to me and I said maybe if I can get out of town I can run from my problems.
Sid Roth: Well as you and I know the grass always seems greener somewhere else until you get there. She got to the church and she got something she wasn't bargaining for and we actually have a clip of that. Lets go to the Brownsville assembly of God in Pensacola Florida right now.
Sid Roth: Gwen when he said that what happened to you?
Dr. Gwen Correll: I was there and I was actually in the overflow room and I said he is talking about me and so I went when the service was over...
Sid Roth: You weren't even in the main auditorium, and God knew your name, he knew what was going on, that was you.
Dr. Gwen Correll: That was me. And I went to the people who have prayer badges and I said he was talking about me, and they prayed for me and they said he needs to pray for you. We are going to take you to him, so they took me to the main auditorium people were all around him, because every night they pray for everyone there, and there was a crowd around him, but they pushed me in front of him and I looked at him and he looked like a drunk man. I have never seen anything like it, swirling around, his eyes rolling and I thought what is he going to do, is he going to pray for me I didn't know.
Sid Roth: Was he what is know as drunk in the spirit?
Dr. Gwen Correll: You are drunk in the spirit...
Sid Roth: And the Spirit of God was so over him, it looks like someone is drunk, that is what happened in the book of acts second chapter and so what happened?
Dr. Gwen Correll: And so I said I am the one and I looked at him and said I am the one, and he looked at me and he leaned back and when he came forward he blew on me. And when he blew on me I fell to the floor and my body started violently shaking just shaking for thirty minutes my body just shook non-stop. And then when I got up the people I had come with me they had seen me on the screen I believe and they came over there where I was and they said it looked like there was something around me, like I was glowing, and for the first time in three months I smiled. And I told them with God I can do this, with God you know I though how am I going to raise my children, I said with God I can do it and I made a decision...
Sid Roth: Did you hear that? With God you can do that, with God there is going to be such a flow of the supernatural don't go away.
Sid Roth: Hello Sid Roth your investigative reporter here with Dr. Gwen Correll, something wonderful is about ready to happen to you, Gwen you smile for the first time since your husband had died and you made a decision you told me.
Dr. Gwen Correll: Yes right after that, I had decided that day that I was going to run after Jesus with everything within me. That I was going to be made whole, that my heart wasn't going to ache because I was going to allow Jesus to totally heal me and then I was going to see other people healed and I was going to do what he called me to do.
Sid Roth: You know what I believe, I believe that you have a vendetta against sickness I believe that you are just going to break the hold of the demons and devils. In fact you started or have been involved in healing rooms, and there are two people that we have video clips on from these healing rooms and one is Woody, and the other is Billy. And there is power supernatural power in the testimony literally as they share miracles, we call them miracle camps. This is something that I want you to do, I want you to take your camera... When a miracle happens in your home, anywhere from one to three minutes and send it to us and we will put it on. Lets take a look at Woody Jewel who had hepatitis c and Billy arid who was literally deaf in one ear.
Sid Roth: Do you realize that these are miracles, these are just ordinary people with an extraordinary God you can do that too. Many of you have had miracles and I expect you to take your little video camera and do a couple of minutes, three minutes get close to the mike though so we can hear you and I want to hear ordinary people I think the world doesn't realize miracles are going on. Gwen I believe that if you pray for people right now I just heard that someone's back is healed in Jesus name, would you pray for people right now.
Dr. Gwen Correll: Yes. And earlier today when I was praying God spoke to me he said necks are going to be healed. God is wanting to heal your necks and your legs God spoke to me about knees and throats. If you have something in your throat you just need to believe God as I pray for you right now God is going to touch you right there in your home I am going to send the healing name to you. Father in the name of Jesus I send the healing word, everyone watching right now father I am asking you to heal the throats, the necks the backs, I am asking you to heal them of cancer every infirmity every disease right now in the name of Jesus. Father you sent your word and healed them and by your stripes they are healed and made whole. And father we agree now for your healing touch upon there bodies in Jesus name amen.
Sid Roth: I believe that many of you were just healed right then but the greatest healing is just about to happen. You see pain in the heart that is what gwen had, she had grieve and pain in the heart. Some of you have grieve and pain in the heart and Gwen I believe that you have a special presence of God the special compassion for those that have lost loved ones, for those that have lost there dreams, for those that have lost there vision, for those that just don't know where to go and they are angry and they know that it is wrong, but they are just plain angry. You were prayed over, it was a process but it also started with a supernatural prayer, would you pray that now.
Dr. Gwen Correll: Yes, father I just ask you to touch each one watching, that has a broken heart that has grief. God you said you come to bind up the broken hearted, God you said you come to set the captive free. So Lord we send healing into them right now God set them free. We come against the spirits of grief, I come against the spirit of anger, bitterness, resentment, un-forgiveness, God I pray right now that they are just going to let it go, they are going to release it, release it now in the name of Jesus, and I say be made whole according to the Word of God Lord go and pour your oil, heal there hearts, heal there minds, heal there bodies, heal there emotions, heal every part of there body God set them free right now God and let then know why you are hope to the hopeless, you are help Father God, you are there ever present help, in time of trouble, I thank you Lord for healing them right now, in Jesus name amen.
Sid Roth: Gwen you recently got back from India, and you saw some very few things that people have ever seen tell us about that women who had a demon in here that made her dance all of the time.
Dr. Gwen Correll: Yes we were in a crusade and while we were on the platform we looked down and there was a woman and she began to dance. You know making unusual motions with her body, with her hand, and so we came down off the platform and we just began to pray for her. You know, we knew it was a demon in her and we began to take authority over that, and we began to command it to come out of her, to loose her, to go from her in Jesus name. And as we began to pray and God began to set her free, totally deliver her, totally by the end of the day we were there three days, she brought all of her family. Brought all of her family to the crusade, she hugged me, and she spoke with me through an interpreter, and she said go back to America and tell, tell what God has done for me, she said thank you, thank you, thank you, for helping me.
Sid Roth: Was she a Hindu before?
Dr. Gwen Correll: She was Hindu. And she had given her heart to God, but because she had not stayed in this church, and stayed with the right people, I believe that seven more demons, greater came into her, and it was greater then before.
Sid Roth: Let me tell you something most of you have just settled for religious Christianity there is more, there is so much more, eye has not seen nor ear heard all that God has in store for you. And although it was very important for you to get free emotionally, although it was very important for you to be healed physically. I am talking about someone's magnitude is so much greater, I am talking about eternity with God starting now, I am not talking about dying and going to heaven I am talking about the Kingdom of God invading earth through you. I am talking about you hearing Gods voice for yourself, I am talking about you walking in supernatural peace and I am talking about you being able to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. I am talking about you having dreams and visions and it starts right here, don't take anything for granted, tell God you are sorry for the sins that you have committed and ask for his help to be free and tell him that you believe that the blood of Jesus washes away those sins and now that you are clean, tell Jesus you want him to be more then just your Savior, you want him to be your Lord, you want him to be your all and all. You want him to live inside of you, lift those holy hands, and yes they are holy, lift those holy hands to God right now, some of you are getting overwhelmed with his presence start worshipping him, praise your God, we worship you Lord, oh God thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you, don't look at circumstances, look at God circumstances won't help you, only God will, Jesus is the way truth and the life no man comes to the father except through the son, Jesus is the Son of God now.
