Rabbi Schneider — Psalm 23

God bless you, Yedidim, and Shalom, beloved ones. My name is Messianic Rabbi K. A. Schneider. Welcome today to this edition of Discovering the Jewish Jesus. Well I want to encourage you to get your Bible open today.

We're gonna go to one of the most famous passages of Scripture in the entire Word of God. Almost all of us have heard Psalm number 23 before. The problem is that we may have a conception of the Psalm 23 of that it's almost like a fairy tale.

We learned it, some of us, as children. Some of us have only heard it at funerals. And because of that, we may not really focus on it in the way that the Lord wants us to, because sometimes that which is common to us begins to lose its effect.

And so today I want to look at Psalm number 23 with you today, hopefully in a way that you've never looked at it before.

We're not gonna look at it today as, as if it's just a pleasant piece of poetry. Some people relate to it almost as if they think it's a fairy tale, even though they'd never say it.

I'm gonna show you today, beloved, that Psalm number 23 reveals the heart of God to us and it reveals to us the type of relationship we should have with the Lord, and that the Lord wants us to have.
