Rabbi Schneider - He Will Make Your Paths Straight
Beloved, one of the earliest Scriptures I remember learning was Proverbs chapter 3, verse 5-6: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight".
When I think about my life and where I ended up and how God brought me here, I have no explanation for it other than the grace of God and that because of His grace, I look to Him through everything. I could have gone so many wrong directions, so many terrible things could have happened to me, so many mistakes that I could have made, so many things that would have trapped me. And yet God covered me through everything because I acknowledged Him in all my ways and He created a straight path.
And Beloved, I only share that with you to give a sense of authenticity for how real this word is. Remember again, the LORD said, "Trust in Him with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding".
So listen, when you sense the LORD leading you to do something, when you sense the LORD leading you to go a certain way, don't reason yourself out of it. Go the direction that He's telling you to go, regardless of what your mind is saying, regardless of what your common sense would say or what other people are saying.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, you're constantly looking to Him in everything, constantly praying, and He will make your paths straight.
Beloved, he that sets their hope on Him will not be disappointed. Cling to God. Above all else, cling to God, and He will go before you and make your paths straight and get you on top of the mountain.
