Rabbi Schneider - Give as You Have Received, Channel Your Blessings
I love what we call the Aaronic Blessing. When the Lord told Moses that the priest, Aaron, and the continual priesthood should speak these words over God's people and the priestly prayer, or the Aaronic Blessing, I should say, goes like this. “The Lord bless you and keep you.” Y'va-reh-ch'cha YHWY v'yeesh-m'reh-cha. The Lord bless you.
Being blessed means that you've received something. It's a gift from God. And I want to simply kind of transition to that concept of blessing through God's blessing that comes to us people through Discovering The Jewish Jesus. If you've been absorbing content and have been blessed by the content that we're putting out there through YouTube, but have never made a financial gift to the Lord through Discovering The Jewish Jesus, beloved, I want to lovingly, politely ask you to make now the time to do it.
The Scripture teaches that we should financially support the ministries that are blessing us. This is a scriptural principle. To resist sowing financially into the Kingdom of God, it's a great mistake. It's taught all through the Bible. In fact, the first believer Abraham honored God by giving a tithe a tenth of all he had, through the priest Melchizedek. This is mentioned in both the Torah and in the New Testament.
So God has always expected His people to honor Him with their finances and were instructed to do so through the ministries of the kingdom that are blessing us. So my special friends on YouTube, if you've been receiving from the content that I'm putting out, if you're being strengthened by it, comforted by it, blessed and helped by it. I'm asking you today to make a financial contribution to the Lord through Discovering The Jewish Jesus, through this ministry.
Now there's a link right at the bottom and the description of this YouTube that will take you right to a place where you can give or if you prefer, you can do it through our website: DiscoveringTheJewishJesus.com.
I want to thank you in advance for your love, for your faithfulness, for your gift. And I also want to share with you, beloved, as you honor God, He's going to honor you. Jesus said, it's going to come back to us, pressed down, good measure, and running over into our lap. And the Lord said He honors those that honor Him.
