Rabbi Schneider - God Will Not Fail You
Powerful word today. We're going to look at it and see if we can apply it to our own lives. It's in the book of Joshua chapter one, verse five. The Lord says to Joshua, "No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life, just as I would have been with Moses. I will be with you. I will not fail you or forsake you". Let's go through it once again. "No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life".
Do you know what? If you are living to please God, if that is your first ambition in life, if you are truly governing yourself in such a way that your greatest quest is to love God and please him. You know what? Nothing is going to stop you. Nothing is going to stop you. They couldn't stop Jesus. They spit on him, pulled out his beard, crucified him. So his life went out of his body, even put him in the grave. You know what? Couldn't stop him. Death couldn't hold him. And the grave couldn't keep him. And the same is true with you.
Sometimes an immediate circumstance may seem to have stopped you. But you know what? Gods a creative God, and he's got another way around for you. When one door closes, another one opens. No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. God will not fail you as you keep your eyes on him. And he will not forsake you. He that sets their hope on him, the scripture says, will not be disappointed, beloved.
Stay faithful to God and He will stay faithful to you. And neither life or death, things past, things present or things to come will be able to separate you from his love. But no, you'll be more than a conqueror through all these things. That's God's word. You could take it to the bank.
