Michael Youssef - What Concerns You The Most About Today's Culture?
Probably the greatest concern that I have in my heart is that I am seeing people who once were believers or at least profess to be believers in Jesus, turning their back on the faith. That is heartbreaking.
When I hear about pastors or music leaders who have written great music and have preached good sermons and now they say, "Well, I'm not really sure about my faith". That breaks my heart, but at the same time, we know that closer to the return of Christ is gonna be a great apostasy.
So much so that Jesus himself asked the question, when the Son of man returns, will he find faith upon the Earth? That's how difficult is gonna be. And so we shouldn't be surprised.
We are concerned because we love people and we want people to be saved, but we know not everyone is going to be saved. And so you stay strong, you stay fixed and built upon the Word of God, and don't be shaken by any of these things are going around us because when these things happen the Bible said lift up your head because the day of redemption is drawing nigh.
