Michael Todd - Evidence, The Making of Overflow the Album

Michael Todd - Evidence, The Making of Overflow the Album
TOPICS: Living In The Overflow, Overflow

If you would just look at me for one second, we’re about to leave, y’all. But in the atmosphere of worship and praise, where people have surrendered their hearts, minds, and lives for the last two hours, I want to ask everybody a serious question: Are these just songs to a God you’ve heard about, or are these the songs you’re singing to the God with whom you have an intimate relationship?

I’m not trying to make you feel any type of way, because I remember there was a time in my life when I would sing songs like this, but I didn’t really have a relationship with God. But today, if you’re in this room or you’re watching online, and somebody put it on, convinced you, begged you, bribed you, or made you come, I think this is a divine moment for your future. Because today, I want to introduce you to Jesus. Every song we sang was about Jesus—Yahweh, Jesus, anchor. Did y’all hear what I’m saying? It was when I was addicted to pornography, a liar, a manipulator, and so many evil things were in my heart that I had a real encounter with Jesus.

Romans 10:9 says it like this: If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, you are saved. I know religion tries to make you think, «Well, put that down, stop doing that, stop hanging with those people,» but you can’t, because if you could have, you would have already done it. But Jesus is the only one who, if you give Him your heart, will help you change your habits. It’s a daily process of being sanctified and made more like Him and walking in righteousness.

Whether you’re standing at the front, sitting in the audience, or at home, today I want to give you a chance to accept Jesus. On the count of three, all I want you to do is boldly lift your hand in the air, because the Bible tells us that God likes boldness down here on Earth. He said it actually gets reflected back in heaven. He said, «If you would be proud of me down here on Earth, then I will represent you when you come before my Father.» A lot of people say, «Well, I did it in my heart,» but if I said, «Who wants a million dollars?» you’d raise your hand. Yeah? And this is worth way more than that. It’s eternal salvation. It’s all of my sin, all of my dark, all of my darkness in me, being turned white as snow.

Today, if you want to make Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior, whether you’re in the room or online, on the count of three, I just want you to lift your hand. There are a bunch of people who have already made that decision and they’re going to start celebrating you. One: You’re making the greatest decision of your life. I see your hand already, my brother. Two: We’re proud of you, but your name is about to be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Three: Shoot your hand up all over. I see you, my brother. I see you. I see you. Oh, Transformation Church, how do we celebrate what God is doing? Hallelujah! And it really doesn’t matter if I see you; the truth is, God sees you. So can we pray all over this room? Come on, would everybody lift your hands, because at Transformation Church, nobody prays alone. Say:

God, thank You for sending Jesus just for me. Today, I ask You to be my Lord and Savior. I renounce sin, and I turn to You. Change me. Renew me. Transform me. I’m Yours. In Jesus' name, amen.
