God works with His Word, His Spirit; His Word is life. But that’s not all that the Word of God does. The Word of God also heals; it has the power to heal. In Psalm 107, verse 20, it says He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction. God is able to send His Word to heal and deliver from destruction. He can send His Word from wherever He is in the realm of the Spirit into our realm in the natural, and His Word, moving from the Spirit realm to the natural realm, does not lose its power. It is able to heal; it is able to deliver. There is no distance with God, and there is no limitation of location. God sends His Word to heal.
When we look at the ministry of Jesus Christ, we see that many times He simply spoke words, and people were healed. He sent His Word to bring healing to them. The Roman centurion understood that and said to Jesus not to come to his home to pray for his servant who was sick, but to send the Word. He said, «Speak the Word only, and my servant will be healed.» So God is able to speak to you wherever you are. When we understand this, we know that at any time and in any place, God can send a Word to heal and touch people.
There is no distance in the realm of the Spirit. If you have a loved one who lives far away and you want God to touch them, He can touch them wherever they are. If you have a child who lives in another part of the world, you can still pray, and God’s healing power will be sent to heal them. His Word is able to heal us, to heal our broken bodies, to heal our broken hearts, to heal broken relationships, to heal broken finances, and to heal everything that is broken. His Word is healing.
God’s Word crosses all barriers. For Him to send His Word to heal us, it must cross barriers. God’s Word doesn’t need a passport or a visa; it is able to reach you wherever you are. Today, His Word is reaching you through the medium of this broadcast, and there is no distance in the realm of the Spirit. If you are sick in your body, the same God sends the Word to heal you. I pray for you wherever you are that the healing power of God would touch you, delivering you from every affliction, from every pain, and from every disturbance of the enemy. Anything that is broken in your life receives healing and restoration and a coming together because He sends His Word to heal.
If He can send His Word out of nowhere to create this vast universe and order it by day and by night; if He can send His Word to create light and give us all the life that we have, then His Word is capable, potent, and strong enough to bring results into your life today.
