Father, we do thank you, and we praise you, and we bless you. Thank you. We open our hearts, and we open our minds for revelation from heaven. Revelation of Jesus, revelation of life, of faith, revelation of heaven, and all of its glory, but most especially, revelation of this life in the earth, and we thank you for it, and give you praise, and honor in the wonderful name of Jesus.
GLORIA: Praise God.
KENNETH: Amen. Glory to God, hallelujah. All right. Now then, let's go back where we began Monday. Fear not, we're talking about Jesus, our care taker. Say it, he takes my care.
GLORIA: He takes my care.
KENNETH: I've rolled it all over on him.
GLORIA: I've rolled it all over on him.
KENNETH: And I have no care.
GLORIA: And I have no care.
KENNETH: In Jesus' name.
GLORIA: In Jesus' name.
KENNETH: Amen.
GLORIA: Amen.
KENNETH: Now it's you're in my job then to build the word of God, and renew our mind to his word, and not be moved by what we see, not be moved by what we hear, but only be moved with what we believe, and we believe the Bible, we believe God's word. Hallelujah.
GLORIA: Amen.
KENNETH: While we look not at the things which are seen, but we look at the things which are not seen. Hallelujah. See, if you look at the things which are seen, you'll be full of care, and worry all the time, but if you keep your eye on Jesus, you don't feint in your mind...
GLORIA: Things that are not seen are the things that are working in the spirit.
KENNETH: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
GLORIA: And daring to get to you.
KENNETH: And at the same time, the things that are not seen are in the spirit working for you.
GLORIA: Yes, that's true.
KENNETH: So, we look not at this natural world. Amen. That's good, Gloria.
GLORIA: Good.
KENNETH: Now I said this on Monday, I wanna say it you again. 72 times in the first covenant the word 'Fear not' occurs. Now, it's in a lot of different manifestation, and that's a commandment, fear not. 23 times in the New Testament, that's 95 times the Bible said, 'Stop the fear.' Gloria, you remember in Luke eight when Jairus was walking right there with Jesus, and the death message came, and said, your little daughter's dead, trouble the master no further? Now, you know, it just says fear not. What he said actually, he just said to him, and I believe very sternly, stop the fear, believe only. She will be made whole. You can say that about you, me, anybody else, stop that fear, believe only. How are you going to do that? You're going to have to have scripture for what you're believing for. You're going to have to have verses. For instance, 'seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all of these things would be added to you.' Do you realize that he bought that, and paid for that with his own blood to see to it that that's true? That's a blood sworn statement. So, I can take that.
GLORIA: Amen.
KENNETH: If I'll obey that, it will take place.
GLORIA: Yes.
KENNETH: But you have to walk in it, walk in it, cast all the care of that, nope, nope. I seek first the kingdom. I seek first the word, I seek first Jesus. Now, roll all the care that the devil comes on. No, no, no, no, nope. No. I'm not gonna let that affect me. You're getting calls from bill collector, just 'Go with God, I seek first the Kingdom', but on the inside, boy it just almost make you fighting man, but you just put a laugh in, you just put a laugh on. Well, ain't nothing funny. Yeah, there is, go look in the mirror.
GLORIA: And know that care has to be on belief.
KENNETH: Yes, yes.
GLORIA: If you didn't have any on belief, you wouldn't have any care.
KENNETH: Oh, that's that strong, isn't it?
GLORIA: It is, it is. That's a good way to watch for it.
KENNETH: So, yeah, thank you Lord. You take the responsibility for the unbelief. Faith filled words dominate the laws of sin, and men.
GLORIA: That's right.
KENNETH: Glory to God.
GLORIA: Praise God.
KENNETH: Let's go over there now.
GLORIA: Okay.
KENNETH: To first Peter, that's our golden text. Verse Five: Likewise you younger, submit yourselves under the elder. All of you be subject one to another. Be clothed with humility, for God resisteth the proud, giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore, under the mighty hand of God, and here's the way you do it. That he may exalt you in due time casting. To cast out. In the Old Testament, the first testament, first covenant, it uses the word roll. Roll over on God.
GLORIA: Casting sounds stronger when you think about it.
KENNETH: But you're getting rid of it. You're casting it out, and away from you. For he cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil is a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour. While I'm a whom he can't devour. Let me finish this, and then the Lord has impressed me to read something. Whom resists steadfastly in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world, but the god of all grace who has called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus. After you have resisted suffered, I mean, been shoved around, we resist everything Jesus bore for us on that cross. That's a whole lot harder than just, 'Well, I'm just suffering this sickness.' No, no, get up from there. Get up from there. Just get up. By his stripes, you were healed. It's not a promise, it's a Bible fact. Get up from there.
GLORIA: Amen.
KENNETH: Amen. But the god of all grace should call us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus after you have suffered, resisted, stood, and battled this thing a while, make you perfect, and entire, entire, entire perfect, developed, establish, strengthen, and settle you. It'll settle you down when nobody else can figure out how come you're not just a basket case.
GLORIA: Yeah.
KENNETH: To him be the glory, and dominion forever. Glory to God. Now when you do this, you step into his dominion. You give him the problem, and he dominates it, isn't that good?
GLORIA: Casting your care.
KENNETH: Casting that care.
GLORIA: Over on the Lord, for he cares for you.
KENNETH: Then he can dominate it.
GLORIA: Yeah, he's got it, you put it in his hand. You quit worrying about it.
KENNETH: We found out yesterday, earth has to act first. Earth has to act. God couldn't take care of John until you, and I rolled all the care of him over on him, and my goodness, we watched him, and you know, he was out there doing his best to go to hell just like I was when I was a kid, and we watched God just herd him like herding a calf. It was amazing to watch it take place. He just herded him right on in there, and he's an amazing man today because of it. Glory to God.
GLORIA: Hallelujah.
KENNETH: Hallelujah. Now, I want to read this again. I want to read it again, and again, and again, and again, and again. John 14:27: Jesus said, "Let not you" is the understood subject sentence here. "You do something about it". He said, "In the world, you have tribulation, but I've overcome the world", ain't no use use you tribulating. I've overcome it. Let not your heart be troubled. The Greek is to be anxious, and distressed, The Greek is to be anxious, and distressed, or depressed. He said, 'Stop that. Don't let that happen.' Now, you're going to have to go to the word. You can't combat it. Let me show you something. You can't combat thoughts with thoughts, it is impossible. You can't do it. You combat thoughts with words. The Lord showed me this many years ago, and you can test it yourself. Now, don't be lazy, and just sit there, and look, and don't do it, do what I tell you to do, or it doesn't make real sense to you unless you do. Now listen to this. Silently begin counting now from one, to 10 starting now. Now out loud, tell me your name. Now what happened to your counting? It stopped. Your mind had to stop, and see what your mouth had to say. That is big, and you did it as an act of your will. If you didn't do what I asked you to do, now we know your first problem, you're disobedient, you're slow to react. 'Well, it's just a television broadcast.' Well, all right, shut the TV off then. No, don't.
GLORIA: Watch it.
KENNETH: Yeah, but now you can see the point. You can sit there, and argue with it in your mind, and...but it's what comes out your mouth, the words. The power's in the words, not in thoughts. I came home from school, I was going to Oral Roberts University back there 52 years ago, and I came home from school, and Gloria was outside hanging clothes out on the clothing line. And when I came in, she said 'Ken, I want you to listen to this.' Mark 11:22, 23, and 24: Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things which he sayeth shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he sayeth, and she said, 'Kenneth, the Lord showed me this today, I have to believe that everything I say comes to pass, good, or bad.' That's the revelation of it, 'cause this is a spiritual law, or you're snared by the words of your mouth, or you're blessed with the words of your mouth.
GLORIA: Yeah, that's right.
KENNETH: You can have words of faith, or words or fear, it's your choice. I mean, I'm gonna read you something else here.
GLORIA: Read it to us.
KENNETH: From the book of Deuteronomy in the 30th chapter, the 19th verse. This is God speaking. 'I call heaven, and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death blessing and cursing: therefore choose life. Now, what is the understood subject of the sentence? You. Therefore, you choose. God's already done his part. He's already chosen you. Amen. He took care of it before the foundation of the world, sweetheart. 'You choose life, that both you, and your seed may live.' Now, in order to choose life, you have to choose life words, and faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. When you get his word down in your spirit, faith-filled words dominate the laws of sin, and death. In Romans chapter eight: 'There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk after the Spirit, and not after the flesh. For the law of the Spirit of life.' See? Life. 'Has made me free from the law of sin, and death.' These are spiritual laws. They work all the time. They're just like the law of gravity. You know, I don't care who you are, what you do, or what you say, it works. Now, that's the same thing with spiritual laws. If you're speaking laws of death, then they work. 'Well, nothing ever works out for me, it just seems like to me', and I'll tell you, one of the most dangerous things for any born-again child of God, it's dangerous for anybody, but for Christians, oh Lord. To use the cursed side, the laws of sin, and death to express yourself. My, my, don't do that. It thrills me to death, scared me to death. I'm just dying to go, and you say something stupid like, 'Well, I'll be back if a train don't hit me', you know, ha, ha, ha. But all this, and that's dangerous, you just licensed the devil to move in on you on everything, and if it wasn't for the grace of God, all of us would have been killed a long time ago. So, talk to yourself about these things, get with your faith buddy. Gloria, and I, well when we first started learning these things, I'm telling you, and I talked all the time, she didn't talk much, but I'd say something, "Oh, you know this..". Well, we were painting inside of our little project house while I was going to school at ORU. The walls were just terrible, and we were in there painting 'em, and of course our landlord bought the cheapest brush you could buy, which I don't blame him, I would have too, and I was painting along here, and Gloria's in the other room there, and the whole house wasn't much bigger than this right here.
GLORIA: True.
KENNETH: But anyway, and a bristle out of that brush stuck in that paint, and God's teaching us, see? This wouldn't have happened otherwise. We're just getting ahold of this. You have what you say. I reached up there, and got that, and I said, 'That paintbrush is coming all to pieces', dipped it in there, the next swipe, the whole thing, the whole bristle, I didn't have nothing, but a handle left, and it's sticking there in that paint. I said, 'Gloria, come here, come here, come here', she running, and I said, 'Look', and she's just poking up, she's just hee-hawin', she said, 'Well I heard you say it.'
GLORIA: That was confirmation of the word.
KENNETH: But see, the Lord was teaching us, he's teaching us, and I'd say something, 'Man, that happens every time I do that', and she'd say, 'Well, that's your confession. I believe it.' Okay, okay. Okay. Okay, and Keith, and Phyllis Moore, I like what they did.
GLORIA: What'd they do?
KENNETH: 'If you say so.'
GLORIA: 'If you say so.' That's good.
KENNETH: That's the way it is. If you say so, that's the way it is. You need somebody to help you. 'Oh, brother Copeland, I don't have anybody like that.' Yeah, you do. His name's Jesus.
GLORIA: Yeah, that's right.
KENNETH: But find you a faith buddy, and don't get mad when you get corrected, okay? Just laugh, and say, 'Oh, thank you Jesus, that woman you gave me', amen, and it was amazing, but we're learning, and 'Well, you're being too picky.' No, we're being trained, and when you're in training, you're really picky. You're really picky, 'cause you got an opponent, and his name is the devil.
GLORIA: There's a difference in boot camp, and Boy Scouts, isn't it?
KENNETH: Oh yeah.
GLORIA: Not that I've been in boot camp.
KENNETH: You're gonna hear that coming back at you. I like that, Gloria Jean. That's really good. Yeah, there is. There's a whole lot of difference in basic training when I was in the army, than having a good time at camp.
GLORIA: Yeah.
KENNETH: Yeah, yeah, you're up against an enemy, and so you gotta train like you fight, and then you wind up fighting like you train. When we'd go to retrain at the training center, and we'd go in there, and get in that simulator, boy, I'll tell you what, they're hard on you, they need to be.
GLORIA: Trying to save to your life.
KENNETH: And they simulator's harder to fly than the airplane. That simulator will bite you. It should be, and you go in there feeling pretty good about yourself. You've been doing good flying the airplane, get in there, and that simulator for the first day, or the first hour, or two, that thing just eats you up, 'cause your scan is slowing, and by the time you get out of there, boy you're sharp again. Well, we're in training here in life's training, this is real. This is life, and death, blood, sweat, and tears. This is where you win it, or lose it. Glory to God. Your mouth, and your thoughts, and the Bible, this book, glory to God. This doesn't contain the truth, it is the truth. Glory to God.
GLORIA: You know...
KENNETH: This is not a book about somebody, it is somebody. Glory to God. What'd you start saying?
GLORIA: You know, where a lot of people miss it is with their children.
KENNETH: Oh yeah.
GLORIA: Maybe they've got a kid that's just not perfect. You know, he does little things they don't want him to do, they start saying, 'Well, I don't know what he's going to amount to. Well, he's just not gonna amount to anything. He doesn't do anything right.' Just cursing your own kid really.
KENNETH: Yeah.
GLORIA: And that's just opening the door to the devil, anything like that. If you're gonna be negative, you better watch out what you're doing.
KENNETH: 'Boy, I'm telling you right now, if you don't straighten up, they're sweeping out a jail for you at the', you know.
GLORIA: A cell for you.
KENNETH: No, don't put that in him. One of the worst things that any parent can do is, 'Boy, I'm gonna tell you something right now. I make rules in this house, and if you can't live by my rules, get out.' Don't be stupid, Mr. Uh-uh. No, don't be that like that. I don't care what he's doing. Don't be running him off. Keep him there, and every time he walks through the room, you just grab him, and hug him. 'Oh, I'm gonna...', 'Oh, shut up kid, you're mine, and just hug him up, and tell him 'I love you boy.'
GLORIA: I love you, yeah.
KENNETH: I love you, I love you.
GLORIA: Those are three great words, aren't they?
KENNETH: I love you. I love you.
GLORIA: Powerful.
KENNETH: I told John by the spirit of God, I said, 'Boy, they could put you so far in the dungeon, you committed the worst crime in history, you can't get rid of me. You can't get rid of your mama. We love you, man. We're there for you. That's the day I'd up, and use all my resources to get you out', and we're out of time.
GLORIA: And it's beginning to rain.
