Kenneth Copeland - God Governs the Earth With Our Mouth and Our Words

Hello, everybody. I'm Kenneth Copeland. This is the Believer's Voice of Victory broadcast. Every believer has a Voice, and it is the Voice of victory. There's way too many believers that don't know that, it is the voice that commands. Amen. Father, we thank you today. We praise you, and we open our hearts and minds to you to go through this book of covenants, searching out all of the things that you have to say to us individually, as you have to say to us as a people. You have to say it to us in our lives and into this ministry, in the name of Jesus, we praise you and thank you for it. Amen. Praise God. And for those of you that are just new around here, this should Professor Greg Stephens. And he is First Covenant Survey at Kenneth Copeland Bible College. That's still so strange to me. But anyway, it is what it is and it's getting better.

This is wonderful. It's growing.

Yes, it is. And I'm looking forward to the day that, like, Pat Robertson could look back and say, 42 years ago, this is what we did. Amen. Well, of course it's 50 now. That's good. Praise God. Anyway, this today, last night, as I was praying and this was in my heart and I got up with it again this morning. So let's open the book at First John 4:4 "and you are of God, little children and have overcome them". Well, now, wait a minute. "Believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:" You have overcome them whether or not you're overcoming. That's a different story. But we have overcome them. "We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the Spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love". Then we know Galatians 5:6 says, "Faith works by love". Well, now that we're here, and that's the reason that you go on to chapter five. "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith". Now, when he wrote this letter, it didn't have numbers and chapters. It was a letter. And he's building a case here, and then he breaks faith into the case. Well, Hebrews 11:6. Help me. Without faith... Go to the head of the class Everybody else smiled at me. Without faith, it is impossible to please God without faith. So now let's go over to the book of Revelation. And may I remind you, in the audience. It's not Revelations. It's one revelation. It is the revelation of Jesus...

Yes, it is

...brought about by his angel. Praise God. That's exciting.

Yes, it is.

Verse 9, "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death". Glory to God. The testimony. They testified to it. Well, I don't have my Blue Bible with me. It's in the phone. That testimony, you could say they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their confession. You're testifying, you're confessing. He said, "If you confess me..."

"...before man, I'll confess you before my Father". So we're confessing him before men.

It's the Greek word, homologeo. It means to say the same thing.

Yeah, that's right.

If I say the same thing he says to you or to a circumstance in life, then he will turn and say the exact same thing I just said. What am I talking about? I'm saying talking about saying words.

Yes, that's right.

Say the Word. He will turn to say the Word and the Father will say, "Amen. So be it".

And I've said this many times because it's happening a lot of years ago, I heard the Lord very distinctly in my spirit. "Let the Word fight its own fight". Find the answer to the prayer in the book and then pray that, don't wonder what the answer is. You can categorize them. Is it physical? Is it financial? Is it family? Is it political? Is it a strife situation? It's all in here. Everything that pertains to life and godliness... there're parts of this covenant that cover it, that just takes all of the hard work out of prayer. You build a petition.

I wrote this thing before we came out here, as many as... here it is. As many as received him gave him power. This entire book is about receiving.

That's what it is.

Learning how to receive by faith and then saying what I've received.

Now, I heard Billy Graham say this, and I heard Oral Roberts say it. Faith is very simple. You didn't question the fact that that chair would hold you up because you trusted somebody that had already tested it. That's natural faith. This tells us, now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. And then we went to the Classic Amplified. It is the title deed. I don't need a title deed to that chair to realize how to sit down it. Now what both of them were saying as an evangelist they're talking about being born again. And that's true. It's that simple, childlike faith that you take it just the same way you had confidence to sit down in the chair and you believe what someone says. And that's true. But when you go beyond that, when you begin to need faith for healing, faith for finances. Now you need to know how the Book works.

That's right.

Now you're getting over in the realm of covenants, and we're going to have to talk about being redeemed from the curse of the law. Well, what's that all about? That's about poverty and sickness and disease. So what? Well, the blessing of Abraham is about prosperity, spirit, soul, body, financially, socially...

And the blessing, the covenant. Abraham only works by faith.

That's right. Which works by love.

That's right. Now you're in a place where you need wisdom. Heard Mac Hammond talking about that on Victory Channel. Wisdom is a principle thing. The simple thing about what wisdom is, is God's ability to use knowledge. I forgot what it is. 80, 80 some odd percent of college graduates are a failure in life. They got a lot of information. They don't know what to do with it. Now you text me a statement.

I did.

I want to get into, Greg.

This came to me in the middle of the night. God governs the universe with his mouth or his words. God governs the universe with his mouth, his words. He governs the earth with our mouth and our words. This is why. Well, you go back to First John 4, "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore they speak". We shouldn't be talking like the world talks.

Never.

Perversion is the word of the devil. A good definition of the word perversion is it shouldn't be that way. Shouldn't be perverted, whatever it is. You can misuse anything, but we're in the place to straighten it out. But that's what the Book does.

Even when, you know, you challenged me several years ago when I said, "Oh, I love that car. I love those cars. That's my favorite. I love that car". No, I'm weakening the word love and the power of love. I do not love my car the same way I love my child. Or the same way I love God. And I know it's a subtle little thing, but when you realize that I looked it up, he formed man, got formed a man. But most everything he did was with his mouth. Well, I have him with power tools making anything on the planet. He spoke it. It happened. Out of the vast majority of 31,102 verses in the Bible. I had to look it up. He only speaks. He speaks. He speaks. He speaks the majority of the time. We govern our lives that exact same way because we were created in that image.

As it is written, I have believed therefore I have spoken.

Lucifer didn't have any words of his own. He took God's Word and twisted it. Perverted it? We studied that about sin and perversion and all that a little over a year ago. When he perverted their words, he was able then to get her to think about something different and twisted. We give Lucifer too much credit. He's a deceiver. He's always been a deceiver, liar from the beginning. He's an ex-employee of God that got fired. That's it. I'm not an employee of God's. I'm a son.

That's right. There's a family.

That's exactly right. But see, he'll try to twist that to the way we don't see it that way. So we've got to decide who we're going to listen to. Decide who I'm going to believe. This determines what I will be for the rest of my life.

That's it.

And the life after when we're talking about spiritual things and I share this with you as well, John, Peter and Judas, all had the same mentor. They listened to the same person and they got different outcomes. It's who you choose to honor, who you choose to believe, who you choose to listen to, that will determine where you're going to go in life.

The Apostle Paul said something that's been on my heart now for, oh, to get back into it and spend more time on it. He said, "I have not been disobedient to the heavenly vision". Do you know what the heavenly vision is for your life? Until you do. And for so many years I did not know. I had Kenneth's vision for my life. and it was very fouled. But piece by piece, the heavenly vision was put in place in my life. But if you can't find it in here, and... I was meditating this and I read it and I read it and I read it in Hebrews chapter six or five, excuse me, verse nine: "And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchizedek". That's Jesus calling, "Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil". That's the heavenly vision for me personally. That's what I'm called to do. So we built our mission statement out of it. That's the heavenly vision. But it goes further than that and I won't take time to get over into it now, we probably will before the week because it's just really, really pulling on me. But let's go now. I want to get back into the Book.

All right.

And for those of you that wonder about this big book, this is the manuscript of our new book, God The Covenant And The Contradiction.

The way you said that first page says it all.

A blood backed agreement is the most powerful document known to mankind. Native people have always known this. It is so ancient, they still practice it in one form or another. The Holy Bible is a book of blood covenants ratified in the sinless blood of Jesus and the Lord instructed Greg and me to put this together so that people can read it and study it and use it like a text book on the different words translated covenant or testament. And the authorized version, the Classic Amplified straightens it all out. But the Old Testament, the New Testament, well, check out their literal meanings. It's the old covenant or the first covenant. It's in different parts and the second last covenant in the blood of Jesus. And right there, then at last Passover meal. This is my blood of the New Testament. Go to that and found out this is my blood of the new covenant. Praise God.

The final all of those covenants is coming together in one person. The entirety of the book points to one person. Once Satan twisted God's words in the mind of Adam and Eve... well, Eve particularly, is there way back? Is there a way... we lost this position? Can we get back? How can we get back? Are we doomed to stay like this? And so God will make a series of covenants. Not just contracts, not just agreements, but covenants with blood. And he'll use blood all the way through it to point us to something.

This just rose up in my spirit, Greg. I've never thought this before in my life. A marriage covenant. And of course, the change of the name in the marriage covenant goes all the way back to the 17th chapter of Genesis.

Yes, sir.

You can't divorce God

No.

I've never thought that in my life. In fact, he won't accept it.

The Pharisees will ask Jesus a lot of questions about that. The Pharisees had a problem, Brother Copeland they could not recognize God in Jesus form.

That's right.

They had this other view their tradition had taught them. So we have to guard ourselves, Jesus said from the leaven of the Pharisees. They knew the verses. They knew the stories. They knew the scripture. Like we're talking about, knowledge. They had the knowledge, but they didn't have faith. It was knowledge without faith. Unbelief is the leaven of the Pharisee.

The reason you can't divorce God... Well, yeah, you can. It's in the book of Hebrews. We won't go into it now, but there is a sin under death. And the simple way to explain it, it is a person that is born again, filled with the Spirit, operated in the gifts of the Spirit, and have known him personally. For them to turn away and count the blood by which they were sanctified of an unholy thing. It just simply says it's impossible to bring them to repentance. It isn't that God wouldn't take it. It's impossible to bring them to repentance.

Yes, they're done. All of these covenants of God solve the problem. To walk in covenant, I must trust and believe. I must honor the one who made the covenant. It's the only way a covenant is going to work. I must honor and trust him, Judas failed. I'm never going to fail in that.

His failure was suicide. Jesus said, "Woe to the man that betrays me. It'd have been better if he's never been born". In his condition of remorse, he hanged himself and that tree upon which he hung himself broke and fell and fulfilled a scripture because his inward parts gushed out. That's what doomed him. He could have come back to Jesus and he would have forgiven him for the whole thing. He was actually forgiven on the cross if he had waited long enough to find it out.

All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

And he just hung there and said, "Forgive them. They don't know what they've done". If he'd had just waited a little bit...

That's right.

And we're out of time. We'll take it up here when we get back tomorrow.
