Joseph Prince - Live Full Of Faith

TOPICS: Faith, Righteousness, Grace

We thank God for the gospel of grace. We thank God that the gospel is the only thing that can transform people. And God is restoring the gospel. In fact, yesterday, I asked my son Justin, "What will I preach? What shall Abba preach tomorrow"? He says, look at me, "Grace Revolution", he says. You can't go wrong, amen, grace revolution, praise the Lord. At one time he did say Thomas before last time, but he's grown some, grace revolution. And there is a grace revolution all over the world, and it's not based on a man. If it's based on a man, it will be over and done with.

So, the of gospel is grace all over the world. People are seeing the beauty of grace but what happens is that when you add law to grace, all right, when you amalgamate the two, what's gonna happen is that you neutralize both. The law is robbed of its sternness, its strictness, its terror, and you rob grace of its freeness, amen, of the beauty of grace. You rob both when you mix them. Are you listening? And for us, the law, for the law to be the law, you have to keep everything in the law. It's no such thing as, "I do my best". The law doesn't recognize language like, "I'm doing my best". The law also has something in it called reward and curses, blessing and curses. It says, "If you obey me, I'll bless you. If you disobey me".

Now listen to what makes disobedience. You must do everything in the law or else one disobedience, James put it like this, James says, "If you keep the law but you offend in one point, you break one law, you are guilty of all". Did you hear me? You are guilty of all. In other words, the law demands you keep everything or else, what will happen? Instead of the blessing, you get the cursing, more of that presently. But let's look at the whole thing from the perspective of something today that I believe is gonna bless you. Now, we have looked at from the area of like your lifestyles, sinful habits, deliverance, and I think that that's vital, that's important, but also your blessing and your cursing is involved in understanding the gospel of grace. The quality of your life, how blessed you are, depends a lot, in fact, depends solely on your understanding of law and grace. Are you listening, people?

So, let's recap what we have learned last week. Let's go to Romans 7. When people ask you things like, you know, people like to make it sound so bad. They say that, "I hear that y'all believe in throwing out, throwing out the Ten Commandments". That's a language that people use and it sounds so bad. So, use scriptural language, all right, tell them, "No, we are dead to the law. We are delivered from the law. All right, we are dead to the law to be married to Jesus Christ". We're not dead to the law... let me read. "Therefore my brethren, you also have become dead to the law". Say, "dead to the law".

When something is dead, it does not respond anymore. Dead to the law means what? You don't respond to your old husband, Mr. Law. We learned that last week, right? Be you're not dead to the law to be a loose canon, to do whatever you want. You are dead to Mr. Law to marry a new husband, amen? Do you think that you will produce lesser fruit? In fact, when you are married to law, you produce fruit of death. Here it says "That you may be married to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God". So, this union with our Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrected Christ, produces fruit, amen, children, fruit, to God, good fruit like love, joy, peace, self-control, meekness, amen.

There's a certain princeliness, princessliness about you. You know it's a fruit of union with Jesus Christ because he's the Prince of peace, amen? Because he's raised out of the dead, your life has an aroma of and the mint of royalty. It has this thing where you are above pettiness, resentfulness, bitterness. You're above it because you're a prince. You're a princess, amen, amen. And the Bible says walk worthy of your high calling. Amen, if you're a prince, walk like a prince. If you're a princess, walk like a princess. Can I have a good amen?

But notice on the other hand the Bible says when we were in the flesh, what is being in the flesh? The sinful passions which were aroused by the law. What arouses sinful passions? Class, what arouses sinful passions? The law, nothing wrong with the law. The law is holy, but the law cannot bend to make you holy. The law is righteous, but it cannot make you righteous. The law is just, but it cannot justify you. Therein lies the problem with the law, it is perfect. Are you understanding what I'm saying? We're not under the law, I never said we're not under the law because the law is bad, I've never said that. Is the law sin? Of course, not, may it never be. Is the law holy? Yes, but it cannot make you holy. All right, only faith can, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, let's go on. It says, "The sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death". So, you have this contrast, bear fruit to God when you're married to Jesus, dead to the law, married to Jesus. Here if you are still trying to keep the law, you will have your sinful passions aroused to bear truth to death. Israel said all that God commands us, we can do it. Sinful passions aroused, the very first commandment, don't commit idolatry, don't worship other gods, they committed it. There was a golden calf. What aroused their sinful passions? The law, they tried to keep the law. The very attempt, so I'm producing holiness. I'm talking about holiness, people, but it doesn't come by effort, it comes by faith. Justification comes by faith, holiness comes by faith, but sanctification comes by faith. Can I have a good amen?

Next verse, now I'll use this language as well. But now, say, "now". We have been delivered from the law. So, when people ask you, "Y'all believe in throwing out the Ten Commandments"? That sounds so bad. Tell them, no, we have been delivered from the law. Use language of Scripture. "We have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter", which is the Ten Commandments, the letter there, okay?

Now, if someone says, "Yeah, yeah, we are delivered from the law", I agree but there is the part where you kill animals, you know, ceremonial killing of the sacrificial animals. "We're no more observing the feast days. That's what we are delivered from". Context is important. Context, in interpreting the Bible, context is king. See, the word C-O-N-T-E-X-T? If you remove a verse out of its context, you take the text out of its context, you left the con, okay? So, leave it in context. So, is he talking about the part of the law of killing animals that we are delivered from? Keep on reading. "What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law", same subject. What law is this? "For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, 'You shall not covet'".

What part of the law is that? What part of the is that, people? The Ten Commandments. So, the context here, we are dead to the law to be married to Jesus Christ is you are dead to the Ten Commandments to be married to Jesus Christ. Now, Ten Commandments says, "You shall not steal", but married to Jesus Christ, he'll make you bless people who don't even deserve to be blessed, to give to people who are undeserving. The law says, "Don't commit adultery", but Christ will give you the love for your wife, amen to not want to commit adultery because you love her so much. I mean, you can not commit adultery and still not love your wife and still keep the letter of the law, keep the onus of the letter by not loving your wife, but you don't commit adultery. But Christ supplies so much more, amen? Are you listening, people?

Okay, so the context is very important but today, my lesson, I want to share with you something vitally important but before I do that, I want to share with you a testimony that came in, and this is from a pastor, just to show you how dangerous this grace teaching is. I got four testimonies here, and I picked the two that's the wrong one. It's in the back of my Bible. All right, we got so many testimonies coming in. This is lives transformed, people, amen.

You know, one of the things that people say, "Well, you're one of those pseudo grace, or super grace, or extreme grace, or whatever grace". Let me just tell you this, all right, and memorize this, put this somewhere in your heart, in your pocket. In Romans, where sin increased, grace abounded much more, grace superabounded, okay? Now, I'm gonna give you the Greek. Where sin pleonazo, grace huperperisseuo. Now, in Greek means in English, where sin pleonazo is increased, increased take in account, grace huperperisseuo, superabounds, you cannot count anymore. It overflows the banks and overflow even more on top of that.

So, the word grace huper is the word "hyper", okay? So, if somebody asks you, "Do you believe in huper grace"? Say yes. It's in the Bible, all right? But when people come against grace, when they some people, when they write articles about me, you know, somehow my name is famous. When they put my name down there what I don't appreciate if I'm accused of things that I really said, no problem. But what they do is that they mix me with some other, a few grace preachers who believe in universalism. "Everybody is saved, you know, you don't have to preach to anybody". I don't believe that. Or if they quote someone who says, "It's okay to sin, you know, you can live however you want". No, I don't preach that.

All right, but what they do is that on one page they put some of these people believe in universalism, all right, on the other page, they put my name there by inference. And if you believe the law, you should at least, you shall not lie. Lying is by inference is still lying, okay, amen. So, the Bible is very clear about this, okay, church? Let me show you how dangerous this grace preaching is from this ministry. Here's a pastor from Arizona United States.

My wife and I have been in the pastoral ministry for 12 years, and I now pastor a small church on the Navajo reservation in northern Arizona United States. For 24 years, I was under legalistic teachings that focus on my efforts to please God. In 2008, the Holy Spirit used Pastor Joseph Prince's ministry to reveal the true gospel of Christ to us and our church. The more we taught about the true gospel of grace in our church, the more we began to see now converts as well as lives transformed.

So, at the end when we start arguing theology and that kind of thing, the question is how souls are being saved under your ministry? That's the bottom line. Whatever it is, it's gotta work. Jesus himself says that, "by their fruits, you shall know them". Jesus told us to become fruit inspectors, amen, all right? So, he says that the more he preached the true gospel of grace,

The more we began to see new converts as well as lives transformed. Alcoholics were delivered and there was a miraculous healing of a new convert who had a hole in his heart. Although we faced persecution for preaching the gospel of grace, we were encouraged by our church to continue preaching grace. Our lives were also blessed, and my younger sister was delivered from her deathbed. She has suffered a severe intestinal injury due to malpractice. Her kidney had also failed, and she was expected to be on lifelong dialysis. She almost died three times during a four-month ordeal in the hospital. My family and I held on to what Jesus did on the cross for us. It was hard, especially when the doctors told us they had done all they could. Her case was the worse the trauma hospital has ever seen. Every surgery done on her was a first for this hospital and her doctors. My sister did not eat during the four months. Yet in the second month, even though he was heavily medicated, she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit while we were praying with her. According to the doctors, she wasn't supposed to fully recover, to be taken off dialysis and eat normally until a year later. But however, praise be to God, she was completely healed and released four months later, and her kidneys are fully functioning.

Amen. "She was also". Now, this is how dangerous this whole thing is.

She was also delivered from a sinful lifestyle after knowing how much God loves her. Pastor Prince, we thank you for teaching the gospel of grace and the finished work of Christ, as well as the materials you provide. We use them all the time and pass them on to bless others. Praise be to God.

You know, people somehow, people have this assumption that the people out there, they understand God's love, you know, God's love has been over preached. I beg to differ. I really think that the world out there did not understand God loves them. Some of them might say that, you know God loves us, but I tell you, they don't believe it in their hearts, amen. We gotta preach the love of God and holiness will be the fruit, amen, not the other way around, okay? And it's vital that we all understand this. It's very important. Today I'm gonna share with you, not only deliverance from a sinful lifestyle as we saw in Romans 7.

When Paul was delivered from this, Paul shared with us a very, what people call a common, we should not be common actually, but a common experience of many Christians, "The good I want to do, I do it not. The evil I don't want to do, I end up doing". We all saw that last week, but that's not just what it's all about. That's important, very important, all right, a lifestyle that glorifies Christ, amen? But do you know your blessing and your cursing is wrapped up in your understanding of law and grace, and I'll show you that right now. All right, this is no joke, people, this is serious business, okay? And the Bible says very clearly that in Galatians 1, Paul says, "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel".

So, notice what is the true gospel, the grace of Christ. What is a different gospel? Any gospel that's not the grace of Christ. If you add the law, which is what is happening here in Galatians, Galatians is a book written, Paul wrote this book by the Holy Spirit to the church. It's not written to unbelievers. It's not just dealing with justification by faith. That's in the Book of Romans. The Book of Galatians is dealing with sanctification by faith because there are people saying, "Yes, you are saved, yeah, yeah, justified. We believe that you're not justified by the law, you are justified by faith. But now that you are justified by faith, now you have the power to keep the law", all right?

And some people came to the Galatians after Paul got them saved, and they say that, "yeah, it's wonderful that you have Christ now, you are justified by faith, but you need to be holy. And let me tell you this, to be holy, you need to keep the law", okay? That's what is happening in Galatians. So, see what Paul says. Paul was shocked that they turned away so soon from God who called you in the grace of Christ. So, the grace, the grace of Christ is the true gospel, and they have turned from the grace of Christ to a different gospel.

Today, the whole thing is lopsided. It is the opposite. If you preach the grace of Christ, they call it a different gospel, when actually it is the original gospel, amen, which is not another. This is different gospel, which is not another but there are some who trouble you. There's no other gospel, all right, but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. In this context of Galatians, what is perverting the gospel of Christ? By the mere introduction of the law. That's perverting the gospel of Christ. Verse 8, "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed".

So, there's a double curse on anyone... you better listen carefully because some of you are saying, "Well, Pastor Prince, this is for preachers, those who are preaching and all that". I agree, it's for preachers, but some of you are preaching by blogging. Some of you are preaching by sharing. So, the moment you start preaching and sharing, you make sure you are sharing the true gospel. For all those viewing this, all right, this curse, double curse, applies to anybody. "But Pastor Prince, maybe there are few grace people saying, well, we're under the blessing, we're not under the curse".

Let me tell you this, there is something called the forgotten curse, the curse of the New Testament. I picked up a book the other day and it's a book on curses, how to break free from the curses. And when I looked at it, it's the opposite of what you thought. Everything is about keeping the law, or else you come under the curse. It's all preaching from the Old Testament, and you cannot find the forgotten curse. This curse is not mentioned, and this is New Testament.

So, some grace people say, "Well, we are believers, we don't come under the curse". Let me just tell you this, all right, then if a believer cannot come under this curse, then pray tell me what does Paul mean when he says, even if we? Paul includes himself. Is Paul a believer? Paul says, "After I preach the gospel of grace to you, even we", me, Paul, Peter, James, John, we or an angel from heaven, not from hell, preach any other gospel than what you have received, the gospel of grace, let him be accursed, and he pronounced a double curse. I'm telling you, people, I'm concerned. I'm very concerned for people who come against the gospel of grace. I'm concerned. I have seen some very bad endings. I have seen some things that I don't even want to mention. Even among my pastors, I will not mention it by name. I've seen things happen.

You know, and I asked God a long time ago, not a long time ago, a few years ago I asked the Lord, "Why is it that you will put a curse on any preacher? God, we know you're a God of love". Isaiah 28 says when you judge, it's your strange act. It's a foreign act. God's heart is not in judgment. God is love. In Isaiah says God's judgment is a strange act, all right? That means his heart is not in it. So, I said, "Why would you pronounce a double curse, Lord"? And the Lord says, "Because I love my people. And if anyone is perverting the beauty of the gospel, all right", God says, "I will stop that person".

The curse, the double curse will stop the person. Don't ask me how in detail. I'll tell you, he will be stopped, amen? So, if you're watching this and you're coming against the gospel of grace, let me just tell you this, I'm concerned for you, I really am. Because here we are, I decided a long time ago, if I preach the gospel of grace, I'll be doubly blessed. And you know something? I'm not boasting, I'm saying this only by the grace of God. We have been blessed. We have been blessed in this church. We have been blessed.

All right, God will resource the ministry. God will bless the person, or people, that are bringing forth the gospel of grace because the world out there still are operating under a law mentality. Do good get good, do bad get bad. The world understands. You don't need the Holy Spirit for that. You need the Holy Spirit to understand you can receive good you don't deserve because another on the cross received all the bad that he didn't deserve. Ah, that takes revelation. That takes the Holy Spirit to elucidate. Are you listening, people?

So, the world out there, God loves the beauty of grace must be preserved, the gospel must be preserved because it's what transforms individuals, it's what's transforms husbands, it's what transforms wives and makes wonderful fathers and mothers. It's what transforms families, it's what transforms societies. It's what transforms nations. And we can complain about this group, that group, this group, that group, this move, that move, this political agenda, this political agenda, until the cows come home and no one is changed until we start preaching the good news. You listening, people?

We have forgotten to preach the good news, and we gotta be serious about this, people, amen? And we gotta preserve the purity of the gospel so the double curse is to protect the beauty, the glories of the gospel. It is good news, amen, pure, and God will not allow anyone to add the sliver of a hair to the gospel, none of you, all of Jesus. And when it comes to holiness, the Book of Galatians is the same thing, none of you, it's all of him. Can I have a good amen?

Like that lady I read about just now or the pastor and all that, I mean, they are holy. They are producing the fruit and yet, it's not by focusing on trying to produce. It's focusing on the gospel and the gospel transforms them. Can I have a good amen? So, church, here is a vital thing for you to understand. If you start sharing, there are people blogging online, there are people writing books, just be careful. If you're in the area of a preaching ministry, you're a preacher already. Make sure that you are getting the double blessing, not the double curse, 'cause God will not tolerate, all right, a false gospel from spreading.

And I can't begin to tell you how it sounds so right, you know, "We gotta cry over our sin. We gotta break our hearts and I'm telling you, sin is such a force and sin will destroy you. Sin will destroy your family". And it's all fine, it's all good. Amen, we feel like crying with people like that, all of a sudden at the end of the sermon, it's all about sin. We don't see the solution. In fact, sin looms larger than the Savior. Where sin increased, grace superabounds, huperperisseuo, hyper abound in the Greek. We don't even hear that. I have more faith in the grace of God than the sinfulness of man. And just because I have more confidence in the grace of God doesn't mean I do not know the danger of sin.

You know how bad sin is? Look at the cross. You know how wonderful grace in God's love is? Look at the cross. Sin is enough to send even God's Son to the cross for us, and God's love is the reason he went to the cross for us. So, the true estimate of things is seen in the cross of Jesus Christ. But if you focus people's mind on sin, sin, sin and there's no cross, at the end, people become sin conscious. It's not gonna help them overcome sin. In fact, it will produce more sin because Hebrews 10 says, worshipers once cleansed should have no more sin consciousness. To say that you have sin consciousness is to say, "Jesus, you didn't do a perfect work and, Father God, you didn't really accept the payment". One more time. To become sin conscious in essence is to say, "Jesus, you didn't do perfect job. And Father God, you didn't actually accept the payment".

That's why sin is still on your conscience. If I pay off your debt and I still see you acting like you're in debt, it will grieve me. In a way, you insult my gift to you. Are you listening, people, amen? The greatest thing is to have what? Jesus's consciousness, not sin consciousness. Somehow we have this idea that to be sin conscious is to be holy. No friend, to be Jesus conscious, beholding his glory, is to be transformed, to become holy, amen?

Now, like I said just now, some of you, you're asking the question, "As I believer, can I come under the curse"? Yes, New Testament curse it's possible because Paul says, "though we", he includes himself. Now, I'm gonna show you something very powerful and this is the meat of my teaching, the marrow of the bone here. In Galatians 3, "And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith", justify the Gentiles by faith, subject matter, justification by faith. The Gentiles, all of us, who are non Jews, the people of God in the Old Testament were Jewish people so anyone not Jewish at that time was considered Gentile, so we were all Gentiles, amen?

But the Bible says that Abraham, long before there was a nation of Israel, because they all came from the loins of Abraham, Abraham heard the gospel preached to him by God. And God, The Scriptures, foreseeing that God would justify all of us by faith, God would justify all of us by faith. So, subject matter is justification by faith. Keep that in mind, okay? God preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand saying, "In you, all the nations shall be blessed".

Now, God had in mind, in Abraham, like if I look at Pastor Lawrence and I say, "In you, all the nations will be blessed", right? What I'm saying is that in his son Josh, all the nations will be blessed. In Josh sons, all the nations will be blessed. I'm seeing descendants and what God had in mind, as we'll see further not in this study here today, but if you study for yourself, you'll find that Paul refers to the seed of Abraham, the seed, not seeds, plural. He says singular, seed.

Paul makes an argument over whether it's an S or no S. Of course, in the original Greek, plural or singular. He says God is referring to the seed of Abraham. Who was that? Christ. That if you are Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed, amen, because you are in Christ, you understand? Okay, so God saw in Christ in Abraham because Christ will come from Abraham's line, "In you all the nations will be blessed". How many want to live under the blessing? I want to make sure that I'm preaching to the right crowd. Angels take notice, okay. Take down notes, okay. I just want to make sure.

Let me tell you this, when you are blessed, no one can stop you. When you are blessed, no one can hinder you. When you are blessed, I'm telling you, you might not be the smartest kid in town, all right, the smartest kid in your workplace, not the smartest guy, all right, in your workplace, not the most good looking, not the prettiest, not the most, the wealthier one, whatever it is, the least context in all that with people of influence and mover and shakers, but the blessing is on you.

It's amazing how everything will move around you, amen, to promote you, to bless you, to put in a position of favor like Joseph. They tried to put him down like a love rubber ball, he keeps on bouncing back like a rubber, keep on bouncing back, amen. They tried to put him down in the dungeon, he rose up in the dungeon. They tried to push him down in Potiphar's house, he rose up in Potiphar's house. Everywhere they put him, try to put him down, he rose up. The brothers tried to put him down in the pit, he rose up. When you are blessed, no human hand is long enough to stop God's hand. You listening, people?

Now, I'm gonna show you a sampling before I go on, but I must read this, so, the subject matter is justification by faith, all right? Then verse 9 says, "so then those who are of faith are blessed with", equivalent, "with believing Abraham. Those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham". Faith here must be interpreted in the context. What is it? Righteousness by faith. Those who believe they are righteous by faith, they are justified by faith, are blessed with believing Abraham.

People ask me sometimes, "Pastor Prince, why do you tell people to confess, I am the righteousness of God in Christ"? Now you know because the moment they confess by faith they are the righteousness in God in Christ, as Abraham confessed, "I am the father of many", God changed his name to father of many as he confessed when he didn't even have one son from his wife Sarah, yet he called himself the father of many, in the same way we are to confess, I'm the righteousness of God in Christ, while we are still in our sin. While we are smoking, confess, "I'm the righteousness of God in Christ". While you're watching porn, confess, "I'm the righteousness of God in Christ". "But don't you think you are to repent"?

Now, listen carefully, okay? Repentance means change your mind. When you confess, "I'm the righteousness of God in Christ", you're actually changing your mind. You don't want this to continue but you know in your heart the only way for this to be broken over your life is by faith and not by human effort. It's not by self-will, not by self-effort, and that's why we have so many testimonies of people. I kid you not, every month we have people writing to us telling us how they are delivered from porn addiction, how they are delivered from drugs. In fact, every other week we have testimonies coming like that. I have testimonies like this right now.

In fact, let me just read to you one right now, okay? And this is more closer to home. I usually do it from overseas, but let me read someone from our own church, okay? That's what happened when you have so many testimonies. All right, she shared her life before she came to our church, this lady.

I've been a Christian since 2008. When I just got born again, I was so in love with Jesus. However, gradually I felt that I was not doing enough for God. I also had a detestable addiction of smoking for 20 years. Back then I was serving in the church choir and every time before and after my choir practice, I would hide outside the church to smoke. I felt like a hypocrite. I tried to quit smoking through nicotine patches, medication, and my iron will but the more I tried to quit, the more I had the desire to smoke. Gradually going to church became a duty and I would skip church in exchange for sleep. I knew this wasn't how I felt when I first got born again so I prayed that God would lead me to fall in love with him again. Then a friend invited me to New Creation Church. During worship, I felt God's presence and love so strongly, and my prayer was answered when I heard Pastor Prince speak. I fell in love with Jesus all other again.

That's what it's all about, people, amen? It's not about New Creation Church. It's not about Pastor Prince. It's about Jesus and when people fall in love with Jesus, something is right when that happens.

Even though I was already a Christian who had read the Bible, I did not fully understand it until Pastor Prince unveiled God's truth when he preached and showed me God's love from the Scriptures. Going to church became a joy and his Word became a necessity for me like food. Week after week, I grew in the revelation of God's great love for me. And as encouraged by Pastor Prince in his messages, I would confess that I am the righteousness of God in Christ even when I was smoking.

Well, let's see the result.

At first I felt really stupid and hypocritical, but I continued with my confession and asked God to take away all my desire to smoke. Over time, I grew to hate the taste and smell of cigarettes. I would smoke halfway and stop because it tasted funny. God took away all my desire to smoke. It has been three years now since I stopped smoking.

Praise God, all glory to God. So, what do you do when you sin? Well, our position, I'm not against confessing your sins but under the Old Testament, you confess as much as you know to be forgiven. Under grace, you confess because you are forgiven, position of faith, amen. And, you know, confessing your sins and, you know, some people, you know how they confess their sins when they fail? "Oh God, I'm so sorry, did it again, Lord. I told you I won't do it, I'm so terrible, Lord. Please forgive me, Lord. Forgive me because of what Jesus did on the cross. Forgive me, oh Lord, please forgive me and I promise I won't do it again".

That's the common, you know? And if you are telling people to go back to that, there's no faith there. That's why, you know, having that, I know people want us to do that, but that's not faith. What is faith? When you fall, all right, the fact you're telling God this, "Father, I thank you". You're calling that a sin. You're not saying it's no sin. "Father, I thank you you have forgiven me of that sin in Christ, and I confess that I am the righteousness of God in Christ". Like Abram confessed without having one child through Sarah, "I am the righteousness, I am father of many", you confess, "I'm the righteousness of God in Christ" having no fruit of holiness yet over this addiction, over this bondage. Do you understand why we tell people to confess now?

Isaiah prophesied of the generation of people in the future that will confess this, surely, "He shall say, surely in the Lord, I have righteousness and strength. Surely in the Lord, I have righteousness and strength". Look at verse 25. "In the Lord, all the descendants of Israel shall be justified and shall glory". Church, do you know that always after justification or after grace comes glory. After grace always comes glory. Romans 8, "Them he justified, he also glorified". Glory always follows grace. Glory also follows justification and we have tasted that, we've seen that. But how can the church walk in glory when they don't even understand grace? They don't even understand justification by faith?

So, for those who say, "Well, we believe we're not justified by the law, we are justified by faith by sanctification". No friend, sanctification also comes by faith, amen? And I've shown you my testimonies. I've shown you my fruits of preaching this in the lives of transformed people. You show me yours. If you believe in what you believe about all those teaching against this gospel of grace, show me the testimony that say, "Ever since I discovered the other side, I have had these testimonies", right? You don't hear that.

You can argue based on theology, but how many souls are saved under your ministry? How many lives are transformed under your ministry? Is God's hand of favor strong and mighty on you? That's the question we must ask, amen? You know, you can disagree with me, no problem. There are a lot of people that disagree with me. One day we'll know, okay, when we all... you don't believe in the Rapture, you'll still be raptured if you are saved. Then I'll smile at you in heaven. I'll say, I told you, amen? Doesn't really matter.

Okay, one day the truth will be told, but the thing is that it will affect the quality of your life here, not only that, you can actually be a Christian and instead of enjoying the blessings you're supposed to do, all right, you are actually under the curse. Let's keep on reading. So, the subject here is, "Those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham". How was Abraham blessed? Let me give you a few samples, only a few, okay? Abraham was blessed in that the Bible says he was justified by faith. Abraham was called a friend of God and for those who advocate the Ten Commandments, he lived more than 400 years before the Ten Commandments was given, how come?

Based on what principle did God call him my friend, because he kept the Ten Commandments? It was not yet given. He lived 400 years, more than 400 years, before the Ten Commandments was given. Joseph lived before the Ten Commandments, and Joseph could say no to Potiphar's wife as she tried to seduce him. On what basis did Joseph say no? Because friend, when you are married to him who is raised from the dead, even you're dead to the law, he will give you holiness that supersede the holiness that is based on human effort, amen? It takes revelation. It's not based on natural reasoning. Do good, get good.

Law, anyone can understand. Grace, some people are struggling. "How come you can say I can receive good I don't deserve? There's no such thing as a free lunch, you know"? And the deliverance is permanent. This lady lost the desire for smoking. It's not a matter, "I put the nicotine patch, but I still have a craving for smoking mmm. When I smell smoke, whoa, I stand down there for a while". It's not that kind of deliverance, it is the desire's gone. That's true transformation.

Abraham's blessings, what else was he blessed? His wife God younger and younger that two kings wanted her for his harem. Once when she was 65 years old, Pharaoh, king of Egypt, looked at her, and by the way, all these kings are not spiritually discerning. "I sense her, spiritual beauty, even though outwardly she looks like a hag, but inwardly, I see the beauty". No, no, these are eyeball kings okay, heathen kings, eyeball, eyeball. And once when she was 65 years old, Sarah looked so beautiful that the king, Pharaoh wanted her for his harem. God had to intervene.

Another time when he was 90 years old, now she's pregnant with Isaac, Abimelech, the king of Gerar wanted her for his harem. So, don't blame your wife, blame yourself. Are you under the blessing of Abraham? Abraham himself had his youth renewed. When he was nearly a hundred years old, we saw a few weeks ago, he ran to meet the divine visitor who came to the two angels. He was running at the age of hundred years old. The Bible says he was blessed and he was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. The Bible says he lived more than hundred over years, died at 175. His wife lived more than hundred years. And when the wife died, he married Keturah and had children by her, y'all, at hundred plus. He was blessed. The Bible says very rich in cattle, and silver, and in gold.

All right, but those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham, believing Abraham which means what? In same as, with, means together with, equivalent with believing Abraham, not working Abraham, believing Abraham, not performing Abraham, believing Abraham. Abraham wasn't righteous because of the things he did. Obviously, he didn't keep the Ten Commandments, in fact, he lied about his wife, amen? Even though she was a partial sister, but he lied nonetheless. The idea was to lie and deceive and yet God calls him righteous. I'm not saying you lie, okay? Watch this now, okay? So, this is how we get blessed.

And the idea here, some people say, "Well, I learned about faith, pastor, a long time ago. You know, pastor, I went to this school on faith, and I read books on faith. I know about faith". Friend, I'm not talking about faith principles here. I'm talking about even though faith principles are involved, I'm talking about justification by faith. One thing about those faith teaching, one thing they really lack is a permanency to our righteousness. They teach you are righteous by faith but the text thing you know, you can lose it in the same day, then you have to confess to become re-righteous. Well, we believe in confession of sin, but he believe in confessing, yet we are forgiven in Christ and we are righteous in Christ, permanent basis. That's what makes faith work.

And the moment you start believing God, okay, you start believing God and all of a sudden, you have thoughts that come in that say, "Yeah, but you did this, wah, this morning. Yeah, but you said that to your wife yesterday. Yeah, but you did this". And all of a sudden, you feel like you don't want to confess anymore. The law has just come in and robbed you of your faith. So, either you live by faith or the next alternative is this, "So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham", watch this, "for as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse of faith are blessed, of the works of the law are under the curse. Those who are of faith are blessed, those who are of the works of the law are under the curse".

Let's try again. Those who are faith are blessed, those who are of the works, doesn't say those who break the law, those who are of the works of the law. The moment you take your position for righteousness or holiness based on the law, you're under the curse, you know why? Because you're supposed to perform everything or else the law will curse you. Watch this, "For as many as are of the works", that includes believers as well, "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse for it is written, cursed is everyone who does not continue", in how many things? How many things? "In all things which are written in the book of the law to do them".

If you believe in keeping the law, all right, good, keep all or else you'll be under the curse. The only way, based on this verse for those who are under law not to be under the curse, is to keep all or else the moment you take a position on law, law ground, bang, you're under the curse unless you perform everything. Can you understand, people?

I pray the spirit of revelation flows right now. And I'm telling you, sometimes a non-Christian can believe easier than a Christian because a Christian is so conscious of where he's falling short, what he's not doing, what he has done wrong, what he has not done right, what he has done right but not enough. He's conscious of himself, self, self, whereas the non-Christian, they hear a message like that, they believe, bang, they get healed, bang, they get blessed. This is no joke, friend. It's gotta do with your blessing and cursing.

Now, before I read to you the curses a little bit, I just... there's no way I can read the entire Deuteronomy 28 for our time like this, but I'm gonna use some sampling, okay? But I'm concerned that if I do it, if I read it, even some of it, sampling, at the end you'll be like, "Oh, man". You'll be withering, all right, like a wilted flower. So, before that I want to give you this, Galatians 3:13, please. "Christ", let's all say it together. "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law".

Okay, stop. Christ became a curse, that's how he redeemed us from the curse of the law. Now I'm gonna show you Deuteronomy 28. All right, the blessing if you keep the law, the curses if you break it, to give you an idea what it means to be bless and what it means to be cursed. You know what I found out? If you keep the commandments back then, God says these blessings will come on you. You know how many verses on blessing? Fourteen, one-four. Do you know how many verses in the same chapter if you break the commandments, you know how many verses there are on curses? Fifty-four, 40 more, 40 more.

Now, let's look at the blessings first, okay? I can't read all the blessings, I'll give you some sampling, okay? Okay, if you keep all the commandments, you'll be blessed in the city and you shall be blessed in the country. It doesn't really matter. I know real estate agents will say, location, location, but God saying if you are blessed, you can be in the village in the country and you are blessed. You can be in the city, you are blessed. The blessing is not in the place, it's on you.

And then it says, "Blessed shall be the fruit of your body", that includes your health. Health comes out of your body. That includes your children. Blessed shall be your children. Doesn't matter the doctor says this and that. "Blessed is the fruit of my body". And the doctor say or the teacher says, "Your child is slow. Your child is this". "My child is blessed. Blessed is the fruit of my body", okay? Another sampling, drop down. "The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend, but you shall not borrow", amen. Lending is a good place to be, borrowing, not good.

Now, borrowing is not sin, but it's not good. Some people say borrowing is sin, but if borrowing is sin, then lending is wrong because you cause people to sin. Is that deep? And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail. And I love this, "And you shall be above only, above only and not beneath", okay? There are other blessings but 14 verses on blessings, but if you keep on reading the same chapter, if you break the commandments, God says these curses will come on you, and there are 54 of them.

So, a long time ago, I asked the Lord, "Lord, why do you elucidate on the curses? Why do you delineate in detail the curses? Why not do it on blessing"? God says, "Blessing is no problem for my people, but my people are confused about curses. Some things are curses, but they say it's the blessing, so I have to delineate for them". I say, "Wow, Lord", the wisdom of our God. People have no problem with the blessing, they got problem with the curses. They do not know that some things are curses. They will think, "I have a psychological disposition", God calls it a curse and the solution must be the cross, okay?

I'll give you a sample of the curses. There's no way we can read everything, okay? So, the curses will include the area of your health, include the area of your family, include the area of your provisions, all right, and your sanity of mind, your peace. We'll see a sample of that, okay? Now, first in the area of disease. Don't forget, Christ has what? Redeemed us from the curse of the law. So, that helps you a lot as you read this, okay? This is how you read it first, "The Lord will strike you with consumption, with fever, with inflammation". Now, consumption here in the Hebrew is disease of the lungs. Literally it's tuberculosis, TB. Well, we are redeemed from that.

All right, drop down, the list of diseases first. "The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed". See. "But Pastor Prince, so far my case is not there yet". All right, the Lord will strike you with madness. Pastor Lawrence, receive that. Pastor Mark, receive that. You are redeemed. "The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness, and confusion of heart". "But pastor, my disease is very unique, pastor".

Let's drop down. "Then the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues, great and prolonged plagues, and serious and prolonged sicknesses", are chronic diseases that goes on and on. It's covered here. "Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid". "Pastor Prince, mine the doctor says very unique one, it's very", you know, "Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law".

So, the wisdom of God is to show you what you are redeemed from! You can read it with fear or you can read it with joy, knowing that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Okay, family, family sampling of the curses okay? There's one that I didn't put up here, but it says you shall be betroth a wife and another man will sleep with her. That's a curse, adultery is a curse. Then children, "you shall beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours, for they shall go into captivity". Have you seen that happen? Your sons and your daughters, they are with you. They live under the same roof and yet, they belong to other people. They are in captivity to pleasure, to addictions, to bad company. They are your, but not yours.

You can give the excuse, "Well, it's a sign of the times". God says you are redeemed from it, claim it, claim it. Because of time, what about provisions? All right, "The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower". The answer is found in you being blessed. Stop complaining and be blessed. Stop complaining about the way your wife look. Get blessed and she'll look better, amen. He rise higher and higher, you will come down lower and lower. He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail".

All right, there are so many more, 54 verses so that we'll not miss it when we see it. What about this? Drop down. "And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a resting place, but there the Lord". Notice rest, resting place, opposite of no rest, is a curse. Stress, stress is a curse. Stress can cut your life short. It's a curse. Yeah, doctors can tell you your grandparents have this, high blood pressure, your father had it, you have it, it's very common. No, the reason it's passed down in your genetic makeup is because of the curse, and you need to know the divine answer. Thank God for doctors, but the the problem is spiritual, so it must be answered spiritually and Christ did it for us.

"There the Lord will give you a trembling heart", That's a curse, "failing eyes, anguish of soul". Your life, if these are your story, listen, it's not? "I have a predisposition to depression". No, the answer is found, especially for me, I was in depression when I thought I committed an unpardonable sin. Actually, I came under the curse because I didn't believe the gospel and this was my story. All right, my life hanging in doubt before me, I feared day and night and have no assurance of life. In fact, when morning came, I wished it was evening, the next verse. "In the morning you shall say, 'Oh, that it were evening!' And at evening you shall say, 'Oh, that it were morning!' because of the fear which terrifies your heart". It was my story.

Let's look at the last verse of the curses, okay, relieve you of your misery. All right, "And the Lord will take you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I said to you, 'You shall never see it again'. And there you shall be offered for sale, in the slave market, you'll be offered to sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you". Whoa, that is an insult of insults. You are sold as a slave, but no one want to buy you. Years ago, I looked up the word, the Holy Spirit told me, what's the last word of the curse? No one will buy you. And then comes this verse, Galatians 3:13, "Christ bought you". He word "redeemed" means he bought you. No one will buy you, but Christ did! Christ did! Christ did!

The word "redeemed", Christ has redeemed from the curse of the law for becoming a curse for us, for it is written cursed is everyone who hangs on the tree. So, Jesus, you know, if he was killed, all right, by stoning, which is the common practice at that time, okay, stoning the Jewish people, and he was a Jew. He's supposed to be stoned. He didn't sin against Rome as such, but then he was crucified. If his blood was shed, that's enough to forgive us of our sins, but why must he die on the cross? Because there's a law of Moses that says in the Old Testament, "Anyone that hangs on the tree is cursed", long before there was even crucifixion because the Romans make it poplar. It came from the Phoenicians and then the Romans took it.

When the psalmist prophesied, "They pierced my hands and my feet", the messianic portion, crucifixion wasn't even known yet. Some perverted mind invented it later, the Phoenicians and then the Romans as a cruel way of... and why did Jesus die on the cross? His blood can be shed by stoning, isn't it? Because not only he forgives us of our sins, he redeemed us from the curse. Everyone that hangs on the tree is cursed. He redeemed us from the curse. And the word "redeemed", exagorazo, exagorazo is from the word act. In Greek means out from, agora. Those of you who've been to Israel and Jerusalem, or been to Greece, you visit Greece, your guide probably tell you, "This is the agora", agora is the marketplace, all right?

In other words, Jesus bought you back. No one will buy you, remember that the curse, no one will buy you from the slave market. You are being sold there, nobody wants to buy you until the expiry date, nobody still wants you, all right? But Jesus bought you out of the marketplace, exagorazo, he bought you by becoming a curse for us. So, it didn't say that you're redeemed from the curse by performing. So, the thing is this, people, now, because of time, let's go back to Galatians 3. Are y'all being blessed, people? Okay, so this is the portion I want you to understand that the alternative for a life of faith is the life of being under the law, performance.

Okay, I want to show you something. This word, all right, "Of faith are blessed with believing Abraham of the works of the law under the curse". He goes on to elucidate here about those under the law being under the curse, "But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for the just shall live by faith". Yet the law is not of faith, but the man who does them shall live by them. So, there are two contrasting lifestyles here, all right? It says, no one is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident. I wonder sometimes nowadays is it evident? People have forgotten. Back then it was evident. "For the just shall live by faith".

Now, this quotation, "The just shall live by faith", the word live, zao, the same one in the next verse. The man who does the commandments, the laws, shall have life, shall live by them. The word "zao", or the Hebrew word in the Old Testament is hayai, hayai. You know when your Jewish friends, when they toast to you they say, "L'chaim", to life, the same word. Hayai and zao in the Greek, in the New Testament, Old Testament, New Testament, Hebrew, Greek, they actually mean to have full life, to have real life, to have, in the Greek hayai, to recover from sickness, to recover from disease, to be revived physically.

In other words, the just shall recover from sickness by faith. I know this word means live, shall live eternal life as well. It means eternal life, but it means more than that in the original Word. It means have full vigor by faith or else the man who performs the law shall live, shall recover from sickness by keeping the law. So, you got two choices. If you keep the law to have the blessings, you must keep all or else you live by faith, you live by believing. And this phrase, "The just shall live by faith" is taken by Habakkuk in the Old Testament. It appears the righteous shall live by faith, but in the New Testament, Habakkuk is Old Testament, in the New Testament, it appears three times, three times it appears in Romans, in Galatians, in Hebrews. In Romans the focus is on the just, the just.

How does one become just before God? In Galatians it is after you are justified, how do you live? Do you live by the law, by your performance, or do you live by faith? All right, so Romans focus on the first part, the just. Galatians focus on live, and Hebrews is the last book that quotes this, just shall live by faith, it is focused on faith. In fact, right after it quotes the just shall live by faith, the next chapter is the hall of faith, Hebrews 11. So, each one is given as treatment, so much like God wants us to meditate on it. The righteous shall have life, eternal life, by faith. The righteous will recover from sickness by faith.

Do we understand this, people? Do we really understand this? Because I tell you this, they are antithesis to one another. You cannot live by law and grace, you cannot live by faith and works at the same time. They're antithesis like oil and water cannot mix. You throw the oil into the water, the oil and water will separate. You will see the oil. It cannot mix. You see, yet, verse 12 says the law is not of faith. The law is not of faith. If you are trying to perform for to score points with God so that God will bless you, God will heal you or whatever, all right, if you're doing that, you're not doing it out of faith. It cannot be, performance cannot be out of faith. But if you're doing out of faith, you're not under the law. Choose you this day. God is saying live by faith, okay?

I want to tell you something, I'm gonna show you verses right now real quick, back to back, back to back, back to back and may it just wash you and help you understand why people are not receiving, why people are not being blessed, okay? But the context of this faith here we saw just now is justification by faith, right? So, don't forget that. It's not faith for healing whatever, but you're gonna see faith for healing right now. It all comes out of believing that you are righteous by faith, okay? Are you ready?

The ministry of our Lord Jesus, the greatest argument people say, "Well, Pastor Prince, you know, you are one of the health and wealth". They try to make things sound very like, you know, dirty. "Oh, you're one of those believe health and wealth". No, I believe in healing, health, and provision. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Use Bible language, right? Come on. We don't just teach by precept, but by example. I don't find in Jesus's examples in the gospels where ever he gave someone sickness. Like he look at someone like Pastor Ronald, he has rosy cheek, his complex is so nice, our Pastor Ronald, right?

He never sees someone like that and says, "Hey you, come over here, yeah, you got too healthy a complexion You do not know what it means, you must have compassion for the sick people so because I want you to have compassion for the sick, here receive leprosy". "Now, I give you this because I love you so that you have compassion for all those who are suffering, all right? So, endure this for a while, okay? You'll be okay". It's a lesson here, lesson. I never see that. I never see that. "Well, Jesus didn't heal everybody, pastor". Yeah, but the Bible says he healed everybody that came to him. Not everybody came to him. He healed everybody that came to him.

You cannot show me one verse, and I can show you a lot of verses that says everyone that came to him were healed, everyone that touched him were healed, but you cannot show me one that says he said to one person, a person came to him and says his hand, you know, is withered. "It's getting worse, Lord, and I need my right hand because I'm right-handed and I'm the breadwinner in my house, and I've been suffering this for two years and my family has been struggling, you know, to feed ourselves. Lord, will you heal me please"?

And the Lord says, "Come here, I want to tell you something, okay? I know that you and your wife, in fact, yesterday you just scolded her again, right? Yeah, you and you wife, I mean you've been treating her real bad". "Yeah Lord". "Yeah, you know what? Why don't you go and make things right with your wife, go, before I heal you". Did he ever do that? He must have done that. Are you sure he never do that? Did Jesus ever qualify people before he healed them? But the Bible says everyone that came do him were healed. You mean to tell me, you mean to tell me that every one of them all kept the law perfectly? So, now you're helping me that these people are not perfect? So, imperfect people can receive?

This is what the church is not listening and this is why the world out there is not listening. Before you pray for people, man, they go into... "I need a prayer of God. Please don't". Hello, hello. Output from heaven output, you also output, kaput. Nothing will happen. Output should be input, thank you. Output, output, bang. Sometimes gonna stop people. Let me ask you a question. Will you doubt someone if they say that "I've been praying for Jesus to save me".

Well, how you've been praying? "Jesus, save me, Lord. I wanna be saved. I don't wanna go to hell. I wanna go to heaven. I want to be washed from my sins. Please, please, Lord Jesus, please save me. Please save me". Somewhere along the way you say, "Bro, bro, bro, bro". He says, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved". Now start thanking him and see if peace doesn't reign in your heart. That's what I'm saying. I believe in confessing your sins but confessing because it has been forgiven, amen?

You never find Jesus looking at a, "No, these people, they're just too well fed. You, come here. Young boy, young boy, 10 years old, 9 years. Come over here. All right, what do you have inside there"? "Oh, pau. Nice chicken pau". A pau is a dumpling, Chinese dumpling, really nice to eat. When you come to Singapore, you must try that, all right? So Jesus said, "Give me a pau". "But it's my only meal for the day, Lord". "Boy, what I do now you don't understand, all right? But one day you will understand. Give me your pau, all right"? And the boy gave and Jesus says, "Peter, come. Bartholomew, come. This is for you. You eat up, eat up, eat up". Peter said, "Can I have the other one"? "No, it is for Bartholomew", okay?

And the boy starts crying. Jesus says, "Hey, hey, I did that, I take things away from you so that you can have compassion for those who don't have anything, all right? So you develop patience. One day you will understand, okay? Go, go, go, go, go. Don't tell father, mother, okay? Just go". Did Jesus ever do that? Did Jesus ever do that? But did he take a few and multiply into many? Yes, you can't just argue based on precepts; you must argue based on example of Jesus because Jesus said when he was on earth, "He that has seen me has seen the Father". You're gonna call it health and wealth, you can call it what you want. I'm telling you what the Bible says in the Gospels. You cannot find one time he takes something away from someone, amen? Amen.

He did take the boat from Peter for a while to preach because the crowd's pressing him in. But how did he repay the boat? The same boat, the whole night before, the night before, they caught nothing. But because Jesus stepped into the boat, when he paid back the fishermen, that boat attracted all the fishes, they caught the fish, became a boat-sinking load of fish. Net-breaking. You can't give to Jesus anything, you can't, full stop. You cannot just give to Jesus. Whatever you give came from him anyway. So what can you give? "I gave to the Lord". Actually, you returned. But never mind, he calls it gift, all right?

So I'm gonna show you right now, people, that your life, in closing, I'm gonna show you that your life is a life of believing, okay? Look at these examples. Jesus, back to back. "Then he touched their eyes, saying, 'According to your faith let it be to you'". All right, these are the two blind men, not mice. They came to Jesus and they came into the house in Capernaum and the Lord said to them, "What do you want me to do for you"? All right, obviously, they are blind and they say that, "That we might see". Jesus didn't say, "Hey, hey, guys. You know why this happened, do you not? Peter, go away. What have you been looking? What have you been looking"?

He never did that. You know what he said? He asked them one question: "Do you believe I'm able to do this"? Faith. "Do you believe I'm able"? They said, "Yes, Lord". "Then he touched their eyes, saying, 'According to your faith let it be to you'". The Bible says their eyes were opened. Another example: "Jesus answered and said to the woman, 'O woman, great is your faith'". Your faith. "'Let it be to you as you desire.' And her daughter was healed from that very hour". Nothing to do with their... these are not perfect people, c'mon. These are not perfect people. But nothing to do with their performance, their law-keeping, and how holy they are, all right?

Holiness is a result... holiness is important to glorify him, a lifestyle of holiness, but it is not the reason for their blessing. In fact, it produces holiness when they are blessed. It's the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. They receive first. Their sin was never an obstacle. It was their faith. It was their faith, or lack of it. How did receive? He never said, "Great is my power, but great is your faith". He didn't say, "According to my power, your eyes are opened". "According to your faith". I think he's teaching us something, people. If you're wondering, "How come? I'm good. Why, I do my best to please God and yet this thing happened, that thing happened". You won't be asking those questions anymore. You'll be asking the question, "What do I believe? Even when bad things seem to happen, what do I believe"?

Now, does that mean that our life will be a bed of roses and all that? No, the Christian life, listen, there is a verse in Philippians, the second last verse of Philippians chapter 1, that says: "It is given unto you not only to believe on Christ but to suffer for his sake". And the word "given" is charomai which is a gift of grace, to suffer for him. So we suffer for Jesus. When people make fun of you, we suffer for Jesus. When people make a mockery of you because you bear the name of Christ, you suffer for Christ. But you don't suffer the things that Jesus suffered at the cross. You don't suffer the curses that he suffered for you. You suffer persecution and you can hit back but you choose not to. That is suffering. You choose to bless the people because you want them to be open to the gospel, amen?

So watch this now, all right? "'Woman, great is your faith. Let it be to you as you desire.' Her daughter was healed from that very hour". Her faith. Drop down. "And he said to the man, 'Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well'". All right, drop down. "When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic", the one that lowered his friend from the ceiling, "'Son, your sins are forgiven you'". Next, "And he said to her, 'Daughter'", this is the woman, the issue of blood. By the way, she broke the law, a few laws, by being out there in the open, all right, when she was bleeding. And she came and touched the hem of his garment. She got healed.

Jesus turned around, "Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in", or into, "peace". Your faith, your faith, your faith. Instead, we are questioning how are we doing? The devil says, "Hey, you did that, you did that that time, you did this, you did that". So become focused on our performance instead of our believing. Our believing is not switched on. When was the last time you got up and say, "It's gonna be a great week"? When bad things happen, you see on television, you hear in the media, bad things happen, you say that "1,000 shall fall at my side, 10,000 on my right hand. It will not come near me. Because my family and I abide in the secret place of the Most High. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law".

The devil says, "Who are you"? I'm the one he redeemed. Who are you? Are you listening, people? Start operating in faith. Start operating in faith. When you take Communion, "Father, I believe that by his stripes I am healed. And I believe every cell in my body is being rejuvenated in health, in renewal of youth and strength". Then drink it. It's not going through the motions, you know? Don't turn it into works. It's believing. It's believing. Jesus says, "Whatever you ask for in prayer believing, you shall receive". Instead, a lot of people are praying and they are wondering if God is listening. No, pray believing.

"But Pastor Prince, when I pray, I don't feel anything". Believing, lah, not feeling. If only he said, "Whatever you ask in prayer, feelingly". Good thing he didn't say that 'cause most of the time I don't feel. I don't feel anything, but I'm believing. I am believing as I'm praying, he's listening. As I'm praying, he is responding. As I'm praying. Why do people stop praying? They stop believing that they are being heard. You, a grandmother, all right, spend most of your time at home. You can be moving nations by your prayer. A powerful tool, man. You can be moving the wheels of destiny by just praying. You can pray for nations and God is responding. Drop down.

And finally, you say, "Pastor Prince, I don't have enough faith. I want more faith". The apostles said that to the Lord: "Increase our faith". They knew now that faith is important. "'Increase our faith,' so the Lord said, 'If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots'". You can say to your cancer, you can say to your growth, you can say to your tumor, "'Be pulled out by the roots, and be thou planted in the sea,' and it would obey you". I got some growths in the sea, beyond Chihe, right here. I've been throwing down there for many years now. I pity the swimmers that go deep. Here, you know how we change this? His answer is a response to the question, "Increase our faith", right?

And again, we are famous for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. He's trying to make things simple for us. He's saying, "If you have faith as a mustard seed". You know how small is a mustard seed? Another place, Jesus says the mustard seed is the smallest of all herbs. And yet when it grows, it's the tallest of all herb trees. But it's the smallest seed that produces so much but we say, "Pastor Prince, I don't have strong faith, you know, Pastor Prince. I look at Pastor Mark praying for the sick, I look at Pastor Henry praying for people and all that. I wish I had that kind of faith but I don't have that kind of faith".

But Jesus says that's not where you start. "If you have faith as a mustard seed". What he's saying, "Start using it". Start getting up and say, "This is the day the Lord has made". You're going for a vacation. Say, "It'll be the best one yet, by the grace of God". When bad things happen, you see the terrorists, say, "God will protect us". Plane's crashing, "I was born for in Jesus's name", because we are onboard. Start declaring, live by faith. Live by believing. You will live, you'll recover, by faith. Or you can say, "Yeah, but your performance is more important. God looks at your performance". You're under the curse. You're gonna perform to be blessed? Perform everything.

We read that just now. Or else you'll be under the curse. So Jesus actually made it easy for us. "If you have faith as the mustard seed", and then we teach: "Now, the mustard seed. We've got to know what the mustard seed's like". What it means is that you have faith so small, use it. Start speaking. Start speaking to that growth. You've got a problem with pimples breaking out, all right? Did I tell you that a pimple broke out down here? Down here, see? My birthday, pimple broke out. Good news, God is renewing my youth like the eagles, amen, amen? At 35, it's not a bad time to renew your youth, amen.

So speak to it. Don't wait until your faith is strong. But you know what? People believe this, the simplicity of faith. In fact, the more simple it is, the more you don't think about it, just speak it, the more you have results. And others will look at you and say you have great faith but you know the truth. So what kind of life do you want? A life of performing or a life of believing? Go back and show them the two examples again. A life of believing, "the just shall live by faith". "Yet the law is not of faith", or the man who does them, perform them, try to keep them, finally will live by them, which no one comes to finally. You choose. You choose.

But I believe your best days are ahead. I believe whatever the economy of the world is like, God will provide all your needs according to his riches in glory. I believe as the world gets darker and darker, the church will get brighter and brighter. I believe in spite of all the rebellion and the uncleanness and all the God dishonoring, acts and words being uttered out there in the streets, your family will be godly. Your wife a fruitful vine, your children like olive plants round about your table, anointed.

I believe that your daughter will be like another Esther, amen, someone who will mark destinies of nations. I believe your sons will be like David. At a young age, 17, he will knock down the giant. I believe when others see a shepherd boy, God sees a king. I believe that your future is as bright as Jesus at the Father's right hand. It can only get brighter for the believer. I believe you're blessed, blessed, blessed, amen? Give him praise, hallelujah!

Every head bowed, every eye closed all across this place and also in the overflow rooms and all the different venues. My friend, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and don't listen to the lies of those who preach on YouTube, on other venues. If you are receiving good teaching, be careful that you don't receive teaching of the law where others say, "Easy believism". I didn't say it; Jesus said, "Your faith, your faith, your faith". And there are those who say, "Easy believism". I'm sorry, my friend, it is not faith plus works. It is not Jesus plus the law. It is Jesus plus nothing.

So all across this place and everywhere that's watching this right now, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved and your house. If you've got a wayward child, believe God is working in his heart. Pray for him, believing. You've got a husband, a wayward husband, pray, believing. And one day he will wake up and see a witch beside him instead of a girlfriend. Pray that woman becomes ugly and you become prettier in your husband's eyes. One day he wake up with a nightmare about that woman. Pray, believing. Don't use your efforts, don't use your nagging. Don't use your human strength. Pray, believing.

"I've got financial needs, Pastor". Speak to the mountain of debt. Command it to throw itself into the sea. "Pastor, the doctor says I've got this tumor". Speak to it. Speak to it. "My blood pressure is unnaturally high". Speak to it. Tell it to come down in Jesus's name. Command it, command it. "But I don't have enough faith". You do have faith as small as a mustard seed. Use it. Use it. For those of you who have never put your trust in Christ as your Savior, I wanna give you this opportunity right now. Pray this prayer with me right now.

Heavenly Father, I believe Jesus Christ is your Son. He died on the cross for all my sins and he rose from the dead for my justification. Jesus Christ is my Lord, he is my Savior, my God. And I thank you, Father, all my sins are completely forgiven. I am highly favored and I'm greatly blessed, greatly blessed, blessed with Abraham. Thank you, Father, in Jesus's name, amen.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, hallelujah, amen. Stand to your feet. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, hallelujah. I hope that this has blessed you, amen. This is my birthday gift to you, all right? To you. To you. Law and grace is not talking about just a lifestyle of holiness or defeat. It's talking about your blessing or your cursing. And, friend, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. And every time you fail, the devil say, "You're under the curse". No, friend, that's the time you must say, "I failed. Thank you, Father, you have forgiven me of this sin. And thank you, Jesus, you have redeemed me from this curse, amen. No bad thing will happen to my family. No bad thing will happen to me in the future because Christ has redeemed me".

Some preaching make you expect bad things will happen and I think that they're putting your faith in the wrong direction. Friend, what Pastor Prince has preached, he has preached from the Bible. Anyone that disputes must dispute from the Bible, amen, the passage of Scripture, amen. Lift your hands all across this place. It's gonna be a great week, a blessed week, amen, amen. No zika virus is gonna possess your family, all right, will dominate in your body, amen, amen, amen.

I believe the prayers of believers is gonna bless this nation, amen. I believe the prayers of those in GRC or in Dallas, Texas, are gonna bless the entire nation. Whoever runs the country, amen, amen. Don't go by what you see. Go by believing. Go by believing, amen. God is doing things, amen. The devil wants you to focus on what the devil is doing but God is saying, "I'm doing a lot of things the devil is not showing you", amen?

A lot of things that God is doing is not visible. We walk by faith and not by sight. God is doing things in your body right now that's not visible. You've got to believe you're recovering. You've got to believe your health is springing forth speedily. You've got to believe that disease is dying. You've got to believe you're getting stronger and stronger, hallelujah. You've got to believe God is doing something about your debt. You've got to believe God is doing something about your daughter, your son, and turning his heart. You do not know what he's thinking so do not jump the gun. Do not start scolding him. Do not start condemning him. Believe God is working in him. Start confessing over him. Tell him he's a Jesus boy. Tell him that God loves him. Tell him you see a bright future for him. Can I have a good "Amen"? Start believing and live by faith.

This coming week, the Lord bless you and the Lord keep you. The Lord bless you and your families with the blessings of Father Abraham, and the Lord bless you with the blessings of Deuteronomy 28. And the Lord keep you, preserve you and your families from every disease-bearing mosquito and parasite, from every infection and disease, from every danger, harm, and accident, from all trauma, fear, worry, and anguish of heart, from all the powers of darkness. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord favors you, smiles on you, open the doors of supernatural favors to you. And the Lord lift up his countenance on you and your families and grant to you and your loved ones his wonderful shalom peace, in the name of the Lord Jesus, amen. God bless you. Live by faith.
