Joseph Prince - Win the Battle Over Temptation (02/16/2026)
This powerful message reveals how believers overcome sin not through willpower but by understanding their true identity in Christ. Using Romans 6 as the foundation, Pastor Prince explains that we've already died to sin with Christ and must reckon ourselves as such. The conclusion challenges us to stop fighting enemies that are already dead and instead live from our resurrected identity in Jesus.
Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Amen. Healings are happening so regularly now that chances are we forget to give God our heartfelt thanksgiving and praise. Amen. So altogether now, for all that we have heard, not just today, but for the past weeks and even in your personal life when God has healed you or done something along those lines, are you ready? Lift your voice and give him praise and thanksgiving from our hearts in Jesus name.
Thank you, father. Thank you Lord. We know it's you, Lord, we know it's you. Lord, we know it's you. So we give you all the praise. All the glory, yes, father, all the praise, all the glory belongs to you. And we glorify the name of Jesus, the only name, amen, name above every name. We are not here for any other name. Name represents the person. We are here for one name. We are gathered in that name and in that name, we have seen healings and miracles, time and time again.
The Power of Jesus' Name
Even for the prayers that have come up from this pulpit here, you'll find me saying, in the name of Jesus, growth be gone. Amen. You don't find me saying just growth be gone. The power is not in any name in anyone. The power is in the name of Jesus. Amen. And Jesus has authorized the church to use his name. He has given the church the power of attorney. A man of God asked me, what is exactly the power of attorney? He says, well, it all depends on the person that you are representing.
The power of attorney is limited to the wealth and the resources of the person you represent. If the person is wealthier, you represent the richest person on earth. Then you're able to do more as a lawyer to execute on his behalf the businesses that he has asked you to do. Amen. So we are here to execute the business, not of the one, only powerful or rich over one planet, but the entire universe. Amen?
Authority Over Sickness and Sin
And the Bible says, we are joined as with Jesus Christ and have a good amen. Amen. Praise the Lord. Thank you Lord. Hallelujah. Amen. So we say in the name of Jesus, it's no more you. The sickness is no more dealing with you. The devil is no more dealing with you regardless. It's nothing to do with you. It's not how good you are, how strong your faith is. It's not a matter of like, are you worthy or are you not worthy? It's a matter of the name that you are representing.
Amen. I've said before that if you have a small size police officer, which you seldom get to see, but if he stops a large truck on the road, he just have to lift his hand. But we know in terms of capacity, in terms of power, there's inherent power. The truck has more. Amen. It can knock down the policeman, but the policeman has authority. Authority is more than power. Amen. Are you listening? Behind him is the entire government of Singapore or the police force, and then the military force.
Living Above the Fray
He only has to lift one hand to execute all that power, right? In essence, he's saying in the name of the law, stop. Right? We say to the nonsense that the devil is trying to do and execute in the lives of the people that we come across, stop in the name of Jesus, and we recommend that destruction to cease its destructive work. Whether it's a disease that's causing destruction incrementally as the days go by, we say cease in the name of Jesus.
Amen. And I speak to your body in the name of Jesus. Let health spring off speedily. Amen. Amen. Let every destructive work that has begun cease in the name of the Lord Jesus. Do you receive that in the name of Jesus? Amen. Amen. Let every cell organ function of your bodies be blessed right now with wholeness and wellbeing in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and with long life God satisfies you.
Understanding God's Discipline
Remember that that verse says, with long life, God satisfies you, not himself. He puts that little criteria there on you. Are you satisfied with this age? If not, you can choose to go on. Amen. And that's what we see in the Bible. We see in the Bible that are things that we do that can prolong our lives. And there are things that we do that can shorten our lives.
When people say things like that thing happen, are you sure? Is God doing that? Or is the devil behind it? Is God behind it? It still confuses us. It's not like every bad thing that happens to us is the devil. It's not. Sometimes the Lord allows you to go through some bad stuff to build your character, but the bad stuff is not initiated by him.
The School of Hard Knocks
But he allows it in the life of Joseph. He allows him to go through all kinds of difficult situations, all kinds of trials. He was thrown into the pit. He was betrayed by his brothers, and all the while he was the favorite one. God had mocked him for a great destiny where he would influence not just hundreds, but literally hundreds of thousands of lives all over the Dan known world, millions even.
You talk about the Dan known world and the capacity of what God has put in Joseph to impact and influence them. But before he can reach that place of safety, God had to allow him to go to the school of hot knocks. And perhaps you're going through that something as small, like driving down the road. You always find that the slowest driver is in front of you, or you find someone who's really, he has no sense of considerateness when he drives.
Childish Behavior vs. Royal Identity
Like he's driving the whole road belongs to him, right? He spits right in front of you, or he doesn't indicate that he's going to turn change lanes or whatever, and something small like that, you can get very angry, right? We've heard all kinds of testimonies in this pulpit of man of God, a man of faith in power that felt like jumping up the car, amen. And turned the forth the gospel of Jesus Christ. No, no, no.
It's like we all have these fantasies, right? When the flesh rises up and all the people said, we have this, but because we are either afraid of the consequence or we realize we are Christians, we don't allow it to manifest, but it's still there. But if we don't see the love of God in all this situation, we are earthly minded. We are kept within the scope of our flesh.
The Mark of Royalty
You know what I'm saying? What I mean by the love of God, God loves you so much that you are not like any other children. You see, I don't discipline children that belongs to other people. They pass by if they are misbehaving. I don't discipline them. Why? When I say discipline, I don't mean beating. I mean correction, loving correction. If you love someone, you will correct the person in a loving way because the person is too precious to let the person just go on in his ignorance on a road to destruction.
If you love the person, you will correct the person. Amen. So I don't correct other children. I correct my children. So when God corrects his children, you ought to feel love. In fact, the word of God says home. He loves he disciplines. So you ought to feel a sense of you're being loved, you are too precious, and your destiny in God is too great for him to just let you go by.
Our High Calling as Royalty
But pastor, this is a matter of rot behavior. Yeah, it is training for princes to become kings because the world that we are going to lift in, we're literally going to rule. Join us with Jesus Christ. See, we don't understand yet. And most of the preachings are confined to things that's on earth. And we have a vague idea about heaven. But heaven, listen. It's not just a place. You go up there, you play hops.
We are ruling with our Lord Jesus Christ, and we start to rule when he comes down here again for a 1000 year millennial rule, then after that, there'll be another war. The Bible talks about that. All that is in the book of Revelation, as well as also you find interations of that in Daniel's prophecies. But we are going to rule after that forever. We're going to rule with him.
Learning from Queen Victoria
Amen. The destiny of this world is all mocked up already. Your place in Christ, your calling is a high calling. I was once at a palace where Queen Victoria of the past in United Kingdom where she grew up and they open up for visitors to visit. So I went to visit and it was interesting. They bring you to the rooms and all the apartments. And then there was a little caption that it said that it was at this point that little Victoria, who was a princess, then when her father passed away, realized that she'll be queen.
And from then on, she said, I'll be the queen of England. I shall behave myself from now on. Because she was known to be very precocious and sometimes mischievous just like any other young girl. But she was a young girl when her father passed away and she became queen, queen of England ushering in one of the most prosperous era of the United Kingdom, the golden era. Many still referred to a fondness the Victorian age, where you have some great classical authors like Charles Deacons and all that that came out of there.
Putting Away Childish Things
She was the queen during that time. And you know what? She was a believer. She honors the Bible. Amen. And God made her rule during that time the golden era. Amen. Now, it doesn't matter. A lot of people, they want to rewrite history and talk about Apostle. I don't agree with that. It doesn't matter. Facts affects history is history. We cannot rewrite history now.
And when it comes to ourselves, we can be playing dolls for those of you are girls and all that, right? Or you can be playing things that are toy stuff. Like Paul says, when I became a man, I put away childish things. When God looks down and God sees our behavior on the road, for example, that's a childish thing. Amen. Who goes first? I must reach there first. No, I cannot be behind this person. It's only two cars. No, I got to be the one on the right.
Why We Get Irritated
Amen. Yeah. You know who I'm talking about, right? Because you were in front of me just now when I was driving down here, right when I was driving down here, you cut in front of me and there were two cars in front. This is true story. There were two cars on this lane, but there was this lane on my lane. But you came to my lane and you never say no. I was looking out for this car, and I realized I think most likely it turned into this star performing arts center.
So whoever you are, you better repent. Amen. You didn't realize that I was behind. Amen. Finding fault. Amen. I had a little splinter in my eye that grew bigger and bigger because of you. No. Doesn't justify the one that looks at the fault of the other one because all of us are guilty of this. Amen. When we think about it, it's childish isn't it? Doesn't look childish in heaven's capacity.
Overcoming Sin Through Identity
You are caught to rule and you are little things throw you off, upsets your emotional equilibrium, your normal more cool when you think about it. So one of the signs of royalty used to be, and I hope that today is the same, but one of the characteristics of royalty is that they are above the fray. They appear calm. They're not affected by people. They don't even answer their critics.
Now, what they try to do in terms of earthly royalty here is but a reflection of God. Who is the king? Jesus is the king of kings and the Lord of lords. Now, when you think of king of kings, I used to think that king of kings of the earth, but it's referring to king of kings, all of you, because you are a royal priesthood. If you're born of God, you are literally born a prince.
The Problem with "Shoulds"
Amen. And if you are one with Jesus, Jesus is the king of kings. Therefore, he's the king of kings and Lord of lords. So I should be calling you my Lord, pastor Mark, my Lord. Right? You're called to rule. Amen. So sometimes power remind them, Hey guys, one day we'll be judging angels, not God's angels, not fallen angels. One day we'll be judging angels. What is this?
You have a small legal problem in church and you're not able to handle it. Then he speaks this. He literally say, I speak this to your shame. Is there no wise man among you? Is there someone who can go beyond all this childishness and something that childish is so sad to the point that people back grudges to the point of death, which they'll not forgive the person, and they could be siblings, they could be father and son.
The Gospel Answer to Sin
But sometimes it happens when there's a lot of wealth or pastor because of poverty and all that, it drives them. No. Sometimes it's because there's too much wealth and the son is bearing a grudge against the father because he didn't give me enough. He gave my brother this, and the two brothers is not talking and refused to talk to the father until the father passed away until death do us part already. And they still have that bitterness in their heart.
70 years old, 75 years old, 80 years old. But the bitterness is still alive while they're dying. Life is listen compared to what the life is to come the life here. Listen, we should live above the fray. Amen. We find ourselves getting a bit irritable with people and all that. Ask yourself, why are you like that? Amen. Don't blame the person for a while. Don't blame the car just now you've been exonerated.
The Truth About Our Identity
Okay, I got to ask myself, why am I like that, right? If I feel bitterness, if I feel angry or whatever, I must ask, okay, Joseph Prince, why are you like that? You'll do wonders for your marriage if you're always pointing finger at your spouse. Okay? Why are you looking at me, pastor Prince? There's a lot of people down there, okay? So don't, don't be personal. Amen. If you can always look at your wife and say, let's turn the tables for a while.
Why am I so irritated with that? Why am I always finding fault with that? Just because that's the way I was brought up doesn't mean it's right. Just because it's comfortable for me doesn't mean she's got to be like me. Thank God she's not like you. Can you say amen, sisters? Okay. Is your happy here? Amen. Are you all with me so far? Amen.
What to Do When Sin Rises Up
So Pastor Prince, we see all these things in ourselves, but what do we do, pastor? What do we do with this uprising of the flesh? You see fears rising up. It's a sin, right? Worry, anxiety, a sins. The Bible calls it that. So what happens with all these pastor Prince? Aren't you glad that you are the righteousness of God in Christ? When God looks at you, God sees you without blame.
Amen. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin. Does that mean that we have no sin? You see, even the one that is strongly saying, well, we got to push holiness. We got to have holy lives and all that. Actually, when you understand grace, it produces a holy life, but it's a holy life without self occupation. It's like, I hope they see how humble I am. I hope they see how holy I am.
The Red Sea as a Picture of Victory
It's not that kind of thing that's based on the law that's produced out of the law. But when you are truly, truly humble, you don't even know that you're humble. Amen. Like the prince of peace who took the towel and a basin and washed his disciples feet. But before that, the Bible says He knowing he came from God, the Father, knowing that he's going back to God the Father, and knowing the Father has given all things into his hands, he laid aside his garments, took the garp of a servant, knelt down and washed the disciple's feet.
Was he asked to wash? Was there any requests for him to wash? No. He initiated the washing. I want you to know one thing in the upper room. When he did that, he wants you to know that his role in heaven, although glorified, he remains a servant. And that's why John saw him in a gap of a servant. He was girded around. The word girdle is always referring to a servant. He's in heaven. But it's a golden girdle because now he's glorified, but yet he remains a servant to wash your feet.
How to Overcome Sin Biblically
Amen. So when you fail, even when you don't ask him, there are secret patternings coming from the heaven above from God. You hear what I said? You are being forgiven all the time because you know why? You don't realize that a lot of sins are being issued for from your life all the time. Amen. You think of the big ones or so far didn't fall into that sin. You're thinking of a big one. You're thinking, and by the way, the big one is in your mind, sin is sin. One sin would send a mental health, right?
Thank God for Jesus Christ that he bought our sins on that cross. Once. I used to think that, no, because I would say things like one sin can send a mental to health. So I said, there's no degrees of sin. But one day the Lord corrected me. There are degrees of sin. Some sin has consequences that you have to pay in this life. Amen. Some sins will cost you to go to prison. Some sins will cost you for the rest of your life, your character.
The Divine Truth About Sin
Amen. Are you listening? Now, where's my basis for that? The Lord taught me there are degrees of sin. Okay? Now, every sin is evil and destructive. Amen? But there are degrees of sin. Remember when they brought Jesus to the Pilate, when they brought Jesus before the governor of Judah? At the time, Pontius Pilate, Pontius Pilate stood before Jesus and said to him, what is Veritas? Remember that Jesus understood Latin. He says, what is Veritas truth? What is truth?
We remember what Jesus told him. The one that delivered me to you has the greatest sin. Now, definitely Poncho Pilate condemning Jesus who is innocent, has sin, but the one that delivered, the one that delivered Jesus to him has the greatest sin. So when I read that, the Lord says, son, don't ever say again. All sin is the same. There are degrees of sin.
The Red Sea Experience
If you look in the Old Testament in the book of Leviticus, amen. Don't worry, I'll relieve you in the world's time. Let's talk about sin. For a while the teaching has started. If you look at the different rulers, the prince, the prince, the priest, the prince is the ruler, then the priest, all is found in ra. There's Hebrew for Leviticus, the book of Leviticus. And the common people, when they sin, the capacity that they bring is different size. Animal a amen.
The priest will have to bring a bullock and then the blood, where a sprinkle makes a difference. Some of the blood never reached the holy place. Some of the blood is put on the altar of incense, which is just before the holy of holies. Some of the blood, right of the common people never goes in, which means what? Based on the role and position you are in, sin will affect different aspects of the church life.
The Answer Is Not Willpower
A ruler can affect the entire nation of Israel at that time. Amen. Sometimes a plate will come. Sometimes there'll be a year of famine. All because the king of Israel has sinned. Have you realized that? Have you read that before? A lot more people suffer. David sin. A lot of people suffer for that. He had to cry to God. He said he went back to his shepherd. This sheep, what have they done? It was I who have sinned. Remember the story and then God state his hand.
Amen. Now, that was under the law. We are not under the law. Thank God. We are under grace. Amen. But sin does have an effect that's different depending on your position. Amen. Are you listening? But one thing even you're a common initially common person. One circle you'll always affect will be your family. And that's sad because your children will grow up living under the shadow of your sin.
The Cross Has Already Won
Amen. So don't sin. Okay, I just said that. Don't sin. Now I'm going to bring you to the question of the teaching today on how not to sin. Okay? So you're here for, I'm sure you've heard this for the rest of your life, pastor, when this anger rise up, what do I do? Do I suppress it? Have you tried that? Have you suppressed it? I'll do my best not to be angry. Have you done that? Have you tried? I'll do my best not to have those imaginations or those thoughts.
Nope. I try not to think of it. I try not to think of it. Wow, so bright. What is that? Amen. Have you noticed that trying doesn't work? So why are we telling people, right? You should be doing this. You should be doing that. You should, should, should. All the shooters and kus and all that is actually putting law on the people. Our answer must be Bible based. It must be based on the gospel.
Reckoning Ourselves Dead to Sin
The answer cannot be found in stop sinning. It cannot. Israel learned that for 1,500 years under the law, they learned they cannot. Amen. And God was proving to mankind that the law cannot, in fact, the law, the strength of sin is the law. The more you say you cannot, the more you try not to cannot. The more you try to the don'ts, the more you do the don'ts that you are supposed to. Don't do it. Amen. And God knew it. God knew it.
You see the moment God gave the 10 commandments and the first commandment was thou shal. Not all this you can find in Romans seven. Okay? I'm trying to save as much time because I told some of the pastors last week, I got so much insight. Me, I wonder once a week is not enough really. So get into the Grace Academy. We'll do more in depth teaching, even on books of the Bible and things like that.
The Truth That Sets Us Free
That's what I'm looking forward to. Because on Sunday, and you realize there are different growth levels as well. The Bible talks about it in First John, there are fathers in the faith and there are young men and there are babies. Babies usually sleep during the service. Babies sleep. I mean, isn't it true? Babies sleep. Right? You have to feed them while they are sleeping. So don't be offended. They're sleeping because babies sleep.
You have to bump them. You have to feed them and let 'em sleep. Amen. Fathers are the ones I know. This is very important. The capacity to see is different from that of a young man. Young man is let's go and fight man. Come on. And the Bible says, you're a young man. You have the word of God in you and you have overcome the wicked one. Praise God. Praise God. But it is to little children. He says, the little children, you have known the Father.
Living From Our Resurrected Identity
Amen. Right? But to the fathers, he says, you know him from the beginning. So what's the difference? Little children know God as the Father, and that is the main focus that God is the Father, right? But those who are fathers in the faith, they have a revelation of Christ himself. Amen. Really? The know him is eternal life. Okay, let's come back to this. Okay? So if you feel like sleeping, go ahead. But one thing I won't allow for sleeping will be this front row. This front row.
Amen. They're supposed to be fathers in the faith. So you find that if they're really, really sleepy, your grandfather, you are already. So our answer cannot just be stop it. People have tried it. Just stop it, man. Come on. Stop it. Right? There's something inside them is the flesh. And that's why Jesus don't have that in him. Although he came fully, man, he came in the flesh. The word became flesh and dwelled among us. He was fully human.
The Finished Work of Christ
But one thing that's not incite him, that is in all of us is sin. He wasn't born in sin, hence the need for the virgin birth because the blood is determined by the father. Alright? What type of blood? Whatever. So he didn't have sinful blood, even from Mary because he was in Mary's womb because we know that the placenta doesn't bring her blood into his body. So he was pure and holy, born to be a sacrifice for us because it must be a pure, holy, sinless sacrifice to take our sins in his own body.
Amen. Which he has done. Praise the Lord. So the answer cannot just be stop sinning. We must look at the answer scripturally. Amen. And we look at the answer scripturally. We are put at a place where Old Testament, there's a lot of types of the New Testament. We see in the Old Testament. There's a scene where God brought them out of Egypt. They were born again. So the picture of being born again is the day they put their trust in the Lamb of God.
The Red Sea: A Picture of Death and Resurrection
On the night of the Passover, outside the angel of death was passing, destroying every firstborn of the household except for those who had blood on the doorpost. And God specifically said, put blood on the lintel and on the doorpost. So the lintel is your horizontal bar that sometimes you kick the ball, it bounces off instead of scoring, right? That's the lintel. And then you have the doorposts and God says, put on this tree, right? 1, 2, 3. You see? See the cross And it's all blood.
So the blood would drip, and then you have the blood heel on the doorpost as well. You draw the line, you see the cross. And God says, when I see the blood, not when I see your good family name, when I see your accomplishments and what you have done for charity, all your good works and all that, I'll pass over you. No, no, no. He didn't say, when I see all that, he says, when I see the blood, when I see the blood, I'll pass over you.
The Red Sea Experience for Us
So until now, the Jewish people celebrate the Passover for us. There's a type of being born again. Am I right? Then fast forward, Pharaoh represents a devil. Amen. Who had the people of God in captivity? We all once were in bondage, in sin, in the flesh under his tyranny. And then Jesus shed his blood redeem all of us, his blood wash away our sins. He brought us away from the enemies. They went out with a high hand, the Bible says, and all of them, women, children, grandfathers, grandmothers, all of them, they came out and they all came out strong.
There was not a single. The Bible says this in the Book of Psalms, when they came out, there was not one single person who was feeble. Not one single person who was sick. And the Hebrew word for feeble, it's very interesting. Specifically the sickness refers to late sickness, lake problems. All the great, great grandfathers could walk in spite of years of slavery, especially the older ones. They spent more years under the tyranny and the hardship under the cruel heart task Masters of Egypt.
The Finished Work at the Cross
And yet the Bible says all of them walked. Every grandmother walked, every great grandmother walked, every one of them walked. Great grandfathers were chasing down. Great grandmothers. Great grandmothers were running away from them. Amen. The next day they were all strong. They partook of the Lord's supper the day before. And the Bible says something happened the next day. The next day. All of them, not one feeble person. And some say about 2 million of them, some say slightly more than that.
Alright, give and take around 2 million. 2 million. There's not one feeble person among them. What does that tell us? And the Bible says they went out with gold and silver. That's in the Bible people. But we must be careful. You preach anymore about this. They'll say you are preaching health. There was not one feeble person among them and they came up with gold and silver. You say what you want. I'm preaching the word of God.
Overcoming Sin Through Truth
Amen. Now, God is against Everest, greed, materialism. We all know that the love of money is the root of all evil. And you can have the love of money with no money in your pocket or in the bank to your name. It's not a matter of the money or the goal, it's a matter of your heart. Amen. So having said that, lemme put that aside. Amen. And the hypocrisy about health, some of them who are again healing are the first one to bring their children to the doctor.
The first sign of the child being sick. Amen. They don't care about what they believe anymore. I want my child. Well, no matter what I want him. Well, that's a father's heart. Where do you get that heart? From yourself, from your earthly father? No, God made fathers because he's a father. Amen. Okay, that's not my sermon today. Okay, so we come back to this. They came out non feeble among them, but they still have a problem.
The Enemies Still Pursue
They are healed, but they still had problems with their enemies. The enemies were still alive. We are talking about the gospel answer to how to overcome sin in our lives. Amen. How to overcome that temper that you have. How do you find that? Sometimes you're just irritable. You dunno why you're irritable. You're just irritable because you're watching too much Korean movies. Amen. You dunno why you're irritable. Amen. You are going scrolling through too much of social media and you look at other people's lives.
You look at other people's clothings, you look at other people's lifestyle you look at and then you start feeling envious. And before you know it, you forget all the blessings that you have that person doesn't have with all their gold, with all their silver. You see, gold and silver cannot satisfy. Amen. They don't have what you have the peace of God. Amen. You don't know how many of them have sleepless nights.
The Answer Found in the Red Sea
They have to take sleeping tablets to sleep and they are now opiate and they are taking all kinds of medication and you are in peace and joy and talking about this depression, this kind of moodiness and young people getting depressed, watching too many Korean movies. I was just telling someone the other day, have you noticed I watch too many nowadays I've seen before because my wife and I, we spent time watching last time.
But we don't spend time watching anymore together and neither does she. She's into sports. So into culinary shows, a lot of that. And for me, honestly, I find that what kind of example is getting worse and worse? Amen. They're making fun of Christians now. They're making fun of tithing. They're making fun of the church. The church is always hypocrites there. They don't show people that pastor, then they don't show people at Pastor Mark. People full of joy.
Your Identity Determines Your Victory
Cool. Amen. Fun to be with. They will show pastors who are very old and looks like they're very angry, always angry. The things are wa with. They're very one I say don't become. They always show that part, right? They don't show joyful Christians. They don't show people liberated. Amen. People full of joy, not hypocrisy. People who don't have holier than doubt, attitude. People who are full of grace, they cannot art. Why? Because they know that life, that faith is too glorious.
It eclipse what they have. So they must put people that are religious. I'll tell you one thing, this is not religious church. So you tune in and say, I don't like the way he dressed. I don't like his pastors up there just now. I don't like all these things. It shows your heart, not us. You got a problem with your heart, not us. Amen. Be born again. Be saved. Amen. Amen. Amen. Are you listening? People
The Truth About Reckoning
And the hero of the series is always someone temperamental. One, always treat the girl with disrespect. Scroll the girl even sometimes can be a bit abusive, not sometimes, many times. And the girl falls in love with him. So the idea is that hey guys, you're going to attract girls, be abusive, alright? Scold her all the time. Alright? Have a face like you have are going through, you're baptized and Tom Yu juice or baptized and lemon juice.
All right? You must have that kind of face. Never smile. Don't smile, don't smile, okay? Don't be joyful. And then you attract the girls. That's the message our young people is having. Amen? Be grumpy and you'll be cool. It works only in the movies any girl want to spend time with man like that. I'll tell you no one, they might think, oh bad boys attract bad boys, dump you also a lot. Amen. So for a while they might light that kind of character, you know what I'm saying?
Living Out Your True Identity
And then the girl girl is always now fed up, always fed up, always fed up. You know what I'm saying? Then guys are attracted. Even the guy is always running after she's fed up, she's fed up and then they're trying to teach. What they're imparting is that the more fed up you are, okay guys will come after you. Let me tell you this girls, it's not true. You're fed up, fed up. We leave you alone. We look for girls that are radiant. We look for girls eyes that sparkle.
Amen. There has life. Amen. Because life is too burdensome to live Someone who is fed up, fed up, fed up, who is grumpy, grumpy, grumpy. This is where life starts. Where they end is where life starts, is where life starts. You want to see a Christian that's living victorious, a Christian that the Bible says we are to be liked. It's found in Ephesians four. It says someone who is constantly filled with the spirit by speaking in Psalms or singing in Psalms, hymns, spiritual songs.
The Power of Reckoning Yourself Dead to Sin
Amen. Speaking this like singing to yourself. Psalms hin spiritual, he's always joyful. There's a smile on his face. Amen. And when he is with you, you feel like everything, your promises are just all become lighter just to be in the person's presence or her presence. Amen. And when she leaves, you are set. You feel like she brightens up the room. When she comes in, her radiance brighten up the room. When he passes by, he says something nice.
He's always encouraging and there's a smile on his face. There's a joy in his face. Amen. And it's not readily available for anyone just to come and take him away or to seduce him. That kind of man is attractive. The woman he just give herself. Next thing you know, just kiss this guy, kiss that guy or wrong guy. Got to find the right guy and the more grumpy guy. Okay? No, no a girl who is we all like that kind of girl. Deep down, everyone wants that.
The Divine Fact of Your Identity
I don't care what they think. Amen. It's going to bless your married life. Okay? Stop. This fantasy doesn't exist in real life. Become joyful. Just speak to yourself in Psalms hymn spiritual songs. Buffets came last week and sang some of the most beautiful songs that you will ever hear. Songs of praise. Learn those songs. And when you're alone and you feel like worry is hanging on you around you, alright? There's a dark foreboding of the future in your thoughts.
Amen. Start singing a song. Th loving kindness. A simple reframe. It's better than life. Praise the Lord for he so good. Whenever I've done that, even on the road, I always give way for his love and yours forever. Whenever I'm singing, it is so easy to be loving and kind when you are singing, come on, amen. But make sure you're singing Psalms, hyn spiritual songs, not songs like angry songs, right?
The Red Sea Experience for Believers
I don't want to sing any song unless I sing your favorite song and you get angry, but there's so much there and your emotional state is very important to the wellbeing of your mind, your mental health, as well as even the physical health of the body. Oh, you see in those shows. It's not real. If that actor is moody like that, look at his marriage later on. If he's really acting, he's just not acting, but he's being himself. See what happens later.
Look at many people who are macho heroes and all that in their own lives, real lives in Hollywood. Look at that. What happened? How prone they are to disease Now incapacitated doesn't exist in real life. Tough macho guys. That overbearing idea of manhood. It's not what the Bible is saying. Also, look at their lives. Always working. People always revenge. Hey, don't watch movies on revenge can. Why are you spending so much of your precious hours watching things on revenge?
The Truth That Sets You Free
Your sleep is more important than to find out whether who got revenge, whether someone succeed or not. They laugh their way to the bank, they become famous. But you become infamous. Wow. Because you are wilting like a flower because you are getting sicker. You don't have enough sleep. Preach it, pastor Prince, preach it. I love you. So how do you overcome sin? So when Israel came out, their enemies were still there, still alive.
So those enemies don't think of physical enemies, okay? God put all these stories in the Old Testament as types, they are shadows, but in the new substance. So all those Egyptians that the oppressed them, that bullied them, once upon a time we were under sin. Now we are under Christ. We were under the law, but now we are under grace. Amen. We were in the flesh. Now we have the flesh, but we are not in it. We are in the spirit. Do you understand?
Living From Your Position in Christ
Once we are far off from God, now we are brought N by the blood of Christ, we are near. Amen. Use that place. Be comfortable in the presence of God where there's joy, fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. The Bible says so nonetheless, they went out and they realized after for a while the enemies came chasing after them. You all know the story. You have watched the movies, you've read the word of God, the enemies came, which means even though we are safe, we still find enemies come after rest.
They come charging after rest. The old loss is still there. The old temperament, the ang is still there. That legalism fault finding unforgiving being bitter up, being angry, amen is still there. Anyway, rise up. It rise up very fast. You thought you were doing fine because you were in church. Just step a few steps outside, boom, it stops up so fast. How do we overcome this? You cannot suppress it. You can't use willpower.
The Finished Work of the Cross
And unfortunately sometimes when you hear the way the answer is given, how to overcome sin, it is always like your willpower. You are the ones that's supposed to suppress it. So we must have a scriptural answer. It must be gospel based, based on the gospel of Jesus Christ. It must be from the word of God and it must be from the New Testament. The new covenant. God won't use old covenant means to give us new covenant results.
So it's not a matter of don't do it, start doing this. No, the Bible is full in even New Testament pastor. He says, put aside all these things and start doing, but before that you must read who you are in Christ. If you then be reason with Christ first and the what if there is actually since you have been risen with Christ, modify the members of your body. Notice that doesn't say put to death. Those losses that come up and all that put to death doesn't say that.
The Divine Truth About Your Identity
It says since you are risen with Christ, when you realize that, when you are conscious of that these little things are beaten, us coming up and all that you rise above, you transcend them because you know have a high calling and you know who you are in Christ. These things are too small for you to focus on. Amen. Child of God, beloved of God. That's why John always says beloved, it's not just a term from that book, we get the word beloved.
And many pastors for 2000 years now has been saying, beloved, beloved, beloved. But actually when John started it, he literally means you are the loved ones. Literally you love ones when you talk to them you love once even correct them you loved once. It's because you are loved. I'm telling you this, don't you know that you love once? Love by God? Amen. So what's the answer? So enemies came after them. The answer was found in the Red Sea.
The Cross Has Covered All Sin
You all know the story, right? They cried up the Moses, the enemies are marauding, they're coming fast. You can see the smoke column that is horizontally all across that heaven there flank with mountains on both sides. If you look at the whole place, it's like you can't go anywhere else. They're going in between this row of mountains and they came to this open sea, the Red Sea and Pharaoh and his armies and the chariots are coming behind.
These are the pictures of our enemies. So though we are born again, we still have those enemies and they came charging down. I mean bearing on them, bearing hard on them and they were afraid. They looked behind. No, the enemies are coming and what's the answer? The answer is still the same. You look at the cross of Jesus Christ. That's how we are born again. Christ took our sins on that tree. He took our place.
Your Position in Christ
Not only that part of you, the old you that's under Adam in Adam in the flesh under condemnation. He took that in his own person on the cross. The old you that love to sin, that always have bad thoughts about God, that part of you that you is dead. Okay, now we're following something, knowing this, that we are planted together in the lightness of his death. Certainly we shall be also in the lightness of his resurrection.
I want to put up there because some of you think I'm not teaching the Bible if I don't put up anything like that, that's a tradition of new creation. Church. We always put it up and then when I start teaching from the word and I want to take more time to share a lot of things, this can slow you down actually. But trust me, if you listen to the sermon again and again, you can hear the verses. It's all in the Bible.
The Divine Fact of Being Dead to Sin
Okay? All but for your sake, for the little children's sake, we're taking down notes. This is Roman six. Knowing this, that our old man is not your father. This is the old you that love to sin, the old you that is from Adam, the old you that cannot but sin. He is beyond repair. The old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
Do you see that? So in other words, look up here, pastor, I don't understand. Not understanding doesn't change the fact you have been crucified with Christ. What you are now listen, and he says that we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. You are now a new person in Christ for he who has died has been freed from sin. What happened to you? Listen carefully. Whether you feel it or you don't feel it, forget about feeling.
Living From Truth, Not Feelings
Okay? Do not enter the realm of feelings. All this is the word, the declared word of God. All this is established. Divine facts. Divine truths. Okay? So nothing to do with the realm of emotions and feelings and experience. It's all in the realm of faith. And faith in the New Testament is not about, oh, it doesn't exist long, but I believe if I believe long enough it will exist. Some people have this idea of New Testament faith, no New Testament faith is that although I don't perceive it in my five senses, right?
I perceive it as real fact because you know what? I'm limited to my five sensors. When God says all around you right now, there are radio waves that your five sensors cannot pick up on. Do you agree? There are TV waves. Do you agree? How come your iPhone can work? You ask, is the wifi on? All right. Why you say that? Can you see wifi? Why? Why can't you see the fire wifi? No one knows why, right? But you use it.
The Power of Reckoning
You don't have to know it to use it. You just have to use it. Or some things you can take by faith. The pilot says, we are flying at this thousand feet and all that, and he has a pile of debt and he's about to commit suicide, but his voice is very calm. He just made peace with himself. He tells you, we are flying this high and all that. Sit back and relax. You don't know who the dude is, but you trust him when it comes to God's word, right?
Oh God must give me a sign. Oh no, no. I cannot believe so simply what's wrong with you? There's the word of believing God. Amen. Amen. That shows man's animated towards God. Somehow even God tells you he loves you. You'll try to find some fault with him. An unknown person tells you something and that person has been known to lie and probably has lied also, all of us have, at least in our past lives, the person is mortal and we believe the person more than all mighty God who loves us, who cannot lie.
The Finished Work of Christ
The Bible says, doesn't say won't lie, say cannot lie. Okay, now watch this. The Bible says, Heath who has died has been freed from sin. Do you know this word freed? Look it up some other translations. I think it's the NIV or one of the translations, I forgot which one it is. It says justified from sin because it's the word ou de ou is always used, justified from sin. He who is dead is justified from sin.
Now listen carefully. I know what you're thinking. I don't feel dead to sin. I feel very much alive. No, I don't care if you feel it. I don't care if you feel it. I'll tell you this. Your feelings are not reliable. How can you say that? Pastor? Brain? Yes, it's not reliable. Have you had experience of flying for long hours and then you step into the airport, you arrive, you step into the airport and after a few hours, even at the Hawker Center, because usually Singapore go to the Hawker Center right after they're light, straight stop is not to look at their family, not to look at their, it's the Hawker Center.
The Truth About Your Identity
You know what I'm saying? Right at the Hawker Center. Do you feel like you are still going up and down? Even when you're eating, you feel like you're going up and down. You go home. You still feel like if, oh, what strongly do you go to the doctor? No you don't. But you feel like dizzy. No dizzy. You feel like you are still in the plane. Same thing. If you are in a boat on choppy waters ever had the experience on your way to St. John Island or something like that and you arrive on flat, solid ground, how do you feel?
You feel like up, down, right? Am I right? That means your feelings are real. You're still in the seat. That means your feelings are real. You're still in the plane. Of course, not even you're hearing also the same that you hear the bells tall, right? The bells ring. He want ringing all the time. Okay? When it stops ringing, do you know you still hear it? You still hear it? Does that mean it's ringing? So all this, it's not based on facts, but we feel it.
Reckoning Yourself Dead to Sin
So don't trust your feelings when it comes to the things of God. Alright? Enjoy your feelings. Whatever feelings come, but see them like you're taking a train ride. You're passing by different sins. Feelings come and feelings go. Don't make decisions based on feelings and don't establish truths in your life based on feelings. We live by faith. And faith is what faith is based on established facts. I know the earth is round because God said so.
Amen. Now, pastor, per we all know scientifically, oh, there was a time people thought the earth is flat because if you go by your experience now you go by your mental apprehension in your five senses, right? All I know is that people back then will say, my great great grandfather told me he traveled hundreds and hundreds and thousands of miles in his lifetime, and you know what? It's just straight. So while we can see the moon is round, we can't say the earth is round.
The Cross Has Already Won
My great grandfather has traveled very far. The earth is flat by the way. There are people who believe that okay, still the earth is flat. Now, do you believe that? Now, do you believe that now Because you have scientific evidence, you should resign and all that kind of thing. But if you go by your experience and your feelings, be honest. It feels flat. If you tell me the earth is wrong, I'm afraid I walk somewhere and I fall off.
So you can't depend on your experience as well. You must rely on an objective source of truth. Today is a battle of truth. All the social media and all the news and all that, what you're hearing, you do not know what is truth. That's why you need to stick close to the word of God and the truth about overcoming sin is found in the word of God. The Bible says you are already dead, but you know it's not in your experience now.
The Answer Is in the Cross
It's not in your feelings. Then where is it? We know it's established. 2000 years ago when Christ died, I died with him. But pastor, I still feel this love coming up. I still feel this angle coming up towards you just now, pastor Prince. It's okay, bro. Deep down you love me. Yeah, all those watching you feel angry. You want to find fault with me? Actually, deep down you love me. You just don't know lie deep down, I'm just asking you to get in touch with the real you.
The real you. You know what I'm saying? The resurrected you. Amen. Not the old you, the old you that one find fault with me. Okay? You see, love me alone. It's true. Why the love of God is shattered, brought in your heart by the Holy Spirit, but I don't feel it Pastor Prince, and you don't feel it, but it's there. It's there. Amen. It's the fact it's there. I know by faith is there, get in touch with it. Life start loving me.
Living From Your Resurrected Identity
It's okay. Yeah. It's more destructive to hate than it is to love. In fact, on the contrary to love is to be whole. You'll make yourself come alive in every sense of that word. Amen. Amen. Amen. You don't have to love me, okay? You don't have to love me. You don't have to by Ella. Sometimes I feel anger towards someone that treats someone in a bad way or whatever. And when I feel it, what do I do? Pastor Prince, I feel that. What do I do?
I remember this trip. Drop down. Now we're coming to the close of it. Now, if we die with Christ, you believe we shall also live with him knowing that Christ having been raised from the day dies normal death no longer has dominion over him for the death. Now watch this. It's important for the death that he died. He died to sin once for all but the life that he lives. He lives to God. Likewise, you also reckon yourself to be dead.
The Truth That Sets You Free
Indeed to sin. Likewise means in the same manner how the Christ died to sin once and for all or gradually. One sin for all. Okay? Likewise, how are you to die to sin? One sin for all because it is the same manner. I understand, same manner, but alive to God in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Now look at the next verse. Next verse must not be tied away. Therefore, based on the verse 11, do not let sin reign in your mortal body that you should obey in its lust.
Whether that lust is a lust to a whole grudge in your heart, unforgiveness in your heart, or it's a lus that manifests itself in pornography or fornication or lust of the flesh or just outbursts of anger. God says, the way that you don't obey that actually is a result. It's actually an effect, not an action that you do because of verse 11, because of verse 11. Therefore, do not let sin reign. It is what you are able to not let sin reign.
Your Identity in Christ
People always don't read the context they just want to take the verse out of, therefore, do not let sin reign. We don't see the context. Now, let's go back to the context again. Verse 10. So verse 10 says, the death that Jesus died, he died to sin. How often did he die to sin The life that he lives? He lives to God in the same way you must think of yourself, right? I'm dead. Indeed. Indeed means what? Like Jesus, one sin for all to sin.
Now stop saying, but pastor, only just now, I had this anger rising up just now. I had this loss in my mind just now. Only I had bad thoughts towards another sister, another brother. I stop that I know you experience it in your experience. I know you experience it in your feelings, but God's established fact is that you are dead to sin. What do you think is going to happen the more you line up with God and agree with God?
The Finished Work of the Cross
God doesn't say because you have all this thing coming out. Oh yes, in your case, you didn't die to sin. Law number one, God doesn't speak like us, doesn't speak English. He speaks King James. No, I'm just kidding. Okay, so this is important. Now we go back to the story of Exodus 14. So they came, God opened up the seed. That's a picture of death, barrier and resurrection. That's why we get immersed. We get baptized in water. Understand.
So we go through. The way God has us is that we go through death. So the waters there is a picture of death. I mean in a natural. So it'll be deaf if God doesn't park the waters for them. Amen. They go in, they'll drown and it was very deep. So God open up away into death through death. Jesus Christ died for our sins and we died in him. It's amazing. I was telling someone the other day, and I was reading about nature plans and all that, and how the Bible says that, God, there's no temptation or testing that has come to you that is not but common to all men.
The Answer Is in the Temptation
But God will not allow you to be tempted above your strength, but will with the temptation. With the temptation. Not outside far away from the temptation, but sight together with the temptation. God makes a way of escape. The answer is found in the temptation. Like everything in life, like David used Golia sword. Not thousands of Israeli, Israeli, Israeli Israelites were there. He never used one of your swords. He used the answer to chop off his head is in his own thought.
It was the biggest thought there and he had the biggest head. So he used to say cut off because David knew how to get a head. Oh, okay. Anyway, so he used Jesus himself through death, destroyed death. You know there's a plant I was saying that stings you. It's called stinging nettle. I'll show you the picture of the plant. Stinging nettle. When you touch it unwittingly you have to scratch for a long time. It is, there's some poison there, okay?
The Truth About Your Identity
It releases that kind of a histamine situation in your body and you feel like you need relief. Alright? Now you might think, I want to go home and get the relief. But actually whenever there's a stain metal with the temptation with the problem, there is an answer beside stinging nettles. You'll see these dog leaves. These are dog leaves. They're always beside the steam nettle. You take the dog leaf, you rub it on your sting, alright? It's a very cooling effect and you're okay.
God ordained that. Even in the world where there's not supposed to be thorns. After the thorns came, God gave the answer. In the thorns, among the thorns, the answer is not far away from you. Many of you're looking for things far away. The blessing is right in front of you. Maybe it's your wife counsel, her advice, but you're looking for far away. I'm looking for wisdom from Elon Musk. I'm looking for wisdom from so, and the wife is pouring out wisdom, but no, no, no, no.
The Cross Has Covered All
She's back my wife. You have to pay for your pride. So how do we overcome it? You know what happened when they chased down Israel? So Israel was going to the other side and God opened up the sea and they went through a way through death. God doesn't say go by another way. No, with the temptation, God makes a way of escape. So they went through it and the waters that they were afraid of covered the enemies that followed behind.
Okay? And it went this way. The waters went rolling this way and push the enemies who were drowned to the other side. Why not this way? Watch this. The waters written and covered the chariots, the homan and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained, but the children of Israel had walked on dry land in the midst of the sea and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
Seeing the Finished Work
You see that? Okay, not so much remain and not one enemy. And who are these enemies? All your sins, right? The sinful desires and all that today. That's what it means. So even we are safe, we have them pursuing us, right? But the Bible says we are dead to them. So how do you explain this? But next at this, the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of Egyptians and Israel saw the Egyptians date on the seashore. That is what God wants you to see.
Likewise reckon yourself. This love comes up. I just listen. I'm not going to use my willpower to suppress it. Why fight an enemy that doesn't exist? It's dead. It's dead already. But pastor, you feel so alive. I know I'm a man. Have you noticed I'm a man? Can't you see what I am? I love, love, love you. Ooh, I'm a man. Can't you see what I am? Right? So I know the feeling. What was that pastor Prince? Was it the flash pastor?
The Power of Reckoning
Prince, We reckon means to count. Log that wonderful word that Paul loves to use for Christians. If the word log may tell us who is a Greek scholar, he says that log means If I think that I have $25 in the bank, if I log my that I have, I think I esteem, I reckon I have $25 in the bank. It is because I have $25 in the bank. It's not based on hope. So if I think so, maybe there'll be money there. No, I count as a fact. What is there?
So God is saying count it as affect your date to sin. It doesn't say feel it as effect in your emotions. In the words are the broken heart. Just emotions that's taking you over is just emotion that's taking you over. All right? Don't listen to it. It's nothing more than just emotions that's taken you over. The younger ones are saying the younger one, what song is that? Oh, you're miserable creatures. You miss a lot.
The Truth That Sets You Free
I heard my son talking to my wife the other day in my presence in Mandarin. He was talking about me and he says, Lauren here, something like that. Something I say, boy, I know some Mandarin. Okay. He is trying to tell a mother how older generation thinks. It's fun to see that they think that they invented a lot of things and how those things are actually, it's all coming back. Actually. It's all coming back.
If the twenties, the people in the twenties would see your fashion today, they'll say, we are back in the twenties. Amen. Anyway, I got no time to lose. Don't waste my time. Okay, lemme finish this. Okay, alright. When Israel saw God pushed them, the enemies, why did God push the enemies and their corpses to float all the way on the seashore here? Because Israel is on this side. God says, look at them and line just not one of them.
Living From the Cross
Remain not a single one of your sins remain in the cross. The picture of read C one, the cross of Jesus Christ, everything was finished at the cross. Now by pastor, we must learn to die daily. Now I got no time. But if you look at that, that phrase is from one Corinthians 15 and it's sandwiched by Paul saying, every day we are being exposed to danger. Read the verse before and the verse after and then he says, I die daily. That means what?
I literally, Paul said, I'm in danger of physical death. It's an expression, a hebrewism to say I'm exposed to danger every day. There's not this die daily. Do you understand? An to sin? To sin? There's no die daily to sin. Alright? There is a counting yes that you are already dead. So when temptation come loud, loud, full and clear with all the living colors, you just have to say it feels real and I'm tempted.
The Gospel Answer to Temptation
But the fact is go higher and say, I'm dead to this. See if it's dead, you'll not try to even pray against it. Why? The very act of praying against it or doing anything against it is to say God's word is a lie. This is the truth. That's why you fall. That's why you don't have victory. That's why we teach people, and many of them have found victory when we teach them to confess. I'm the righteousness of God in Christ, in the midst of their sin.
Why? Because it brings them out of that lie. But pastor, it is so real. How can you say it's a lie? It's a lie because it's not based on the truth and the enemy can actually make you feel They're so strong. The temptation is so strong, but there's no such thing as being so strong. God says he'll never expose you to temptation beyond your strength. And my time is up. I just got started, man. Whoa.
Practical Steps for Victory
Hallelujah. Will you keep coming back? You keep hearing the word. So real quick, when temptation present itself, what do you do? Remind yourself of this truth. The way out must be gospel based. It must be based on the work of Christ. The more you try the worst it is, by the way, just a word, especially to the men when it comes to sexual temptation. God never say stand down there and reckon. He'd always say flee.
Run from as even terror like Joseph did before. 40 first's. Wife, run away. Run away. Don't expose yourself. He says Ra movie or whatever. Why watch it. What's in it? Many of them have the courtesy nowadays. At least they have the hurt to tell you nudity. Why do you watch it? Is it really so important? You got to watch it. It says nudity down there, right? So God's way when it comes to sexual temptation, flee, don't expose yourself to it.
Living From Your Identity in Christ
Alright? Very manly, flee. You're a real man will flee because you know you're red-blooded going to stand down there and say, I'll resist. I'll reckon, I'll reckon, man, woman, hit me with your best shot. Doesn't work. Okay, you are taking went on my time. Every eight pound, every eye close. I tell you this church, God's way is always the best way and the cross has covered all these things for us. Therefore, because of our being able to agree with the truth, you have the power not to let that sin reign in your body.
Amen. Praise the Lord. Confess and say, I'm the righteousness of God in Christ. Every head bow, every eye close. Perhaps you're here and you say, pastor Prince, I feel the Lord is calling me To be his child and to forgiveness of sins. I don't want to be like what you say in the flesh, in the old Adam. I want to be under grace in Christ, in the Spirit. How do I do that? By putting your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. Pray this prayer right now. Say Heavenly Father, I thank you. Christ died for my sins and he was raised from the dead when all my sins were clear. Thank you, father, that I'm forgiven for forever and I thank you that I'm dead to sin from hands forth. This is my posture. I'm dead to sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus. I confess Jesus Christ is my Lord in Jesus' name.
And all the people said, amen. Stand to your feet my friend. If you pray that prayer just now, you are now the righteousness of God in Christ. You are in the Spirit, not in the flesh. Though the flesh is still in you. You are under grace, not under the law. You are under God the Father, not under God, the judge anymore. He's always before you as a father. You'll never be judged for your sins ever again.
Amen. Lift your hands before the Lord this coming week there'll be temptations. The enemy will try to make you feel like what you heard isn't the truth. Your experiences are the truth. Your feelings are the truth right now in the name of Jesus, I want you to know that the word of God is here to set you free. So from hands F in the name of Jesus Father, give them each of them. This can only come by revelation. Father, give them Lord a revelation Of the accomplished fact of the divine truth that Christ has accomplished for us.
That as far as sin is concerned, is behind us. Even though it feels so real. Lord, every day it is a lie that we have died to sin, Lord, and we can never, never live to it again. Thank you Father. Give to each person the spirit of wisdom and revelation concerning this. The eyes of the understanding they enlighten and throughout this week, keep them. Keep them from the evil one. Keep them from falling into sin. Keep them from all the powers of darkness. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And all the people said, amen.
