Joseph Prince - Don't Blink, This Moment Can Change Everything

God is reversing time this year, restoring the years the locust has eaten and accelerating blessings like healing manifestations. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 6:1-2, now is the accepted (dektos) time and day of salvation—meaning full wholeness, healing, and favor—not just initial salvation. Believers must live fully in the "now" to receive grace effectively, leaving past regrets and future worries behind, as God's path for the righteous shines brighter and brighter.

God's Promise to Reverse Time and Restore Lost Years

Time has accelerated. Well, this year, God's going to reverse time for all of us. And the way I receive it is I was meditating or just looking at a passage of Scripture that I know pretty well. I've read that. I've preached on that. But I never saw that until the Lord just opened my eyes.

You know, you read the Bible. That's the thing about the Bible compared with other books. You know, once you read a fiction book, for example, it's finished, you put it in your shelf. Or you pass it to your friend. But the Word of God keeps on speaking to you. There are layers and layers of God's wisdom and understanding in God's Word.

So I was reading that, and then God spoke to me. And so one of the things He's going to do this year is reverse time for you. So if time can be accelerated, and we all felt that, yeah, time has accelerated for many of us. Amen? Time can also be reversed.

Restoring the Years the Locust Has Eaten

Well, the Bible says, I'll restore to you the years the locust has eaten. By the way, that's not a Scripture. That's very clear. It's a clear statement. God says, I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten.

So, the nation of Israel is a husbandry nation. It's a nation involved with agriculture, farming. That's their business. So those with a large flock, they are wealthy. Those with a few meager flock, all right, they are poor. Some others don't even have a flock. But they depend on the rains and they depend on the seasons to bring forth the right harvest.

So, when God tells them, I'll restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, locusts always attack the harvest, right? So whatever it is, in our context today, God is saying He's going to restore to you the years. Not one year, but the years that the locust has eaten from you.

This year is going to happen. Amen? In this year of, it's going to happen. In this year of. And that healing that you're waiting for. Amen? Amen. It's going to accelerate. Okay? So there's going to be an acceleration for the blessings of God. And when I say acceleration and healing, I mean the manifestation. We always believe we receive the moment we pray. Amen?

A Year of Acceleration, Progress, and Brighter Paths

God has great things in store, definitely. This year is going to be a special year. God never regresses. He always progresses. The Bible says, the path of the righteous and you are the righteousness of God in Christ, child of God.

The path, listen, talking about you, the path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. The perfect day when Jesus comes again. Amen? It shines brighter and brighter. Your path shines brighter and brighter.

But inwardly, if you don't believe right, if you are not receiving the Word of God, teachings that will cause you to believe right, it's important you believe right. Then you can live right. Amen? But you don't believe right, you're believing wrong.

Even though God has a year full of His blessings and favors and favors and goodness, His grace is abounding in this year. We all know that. And greater than before because, by the way, it's going to be greater than before. Amen? God never regresses. Always remember that.

So, the path of the righteous shines what? Shout it. Brighter and brighter. Yes, those in the other services includes you. Shines. Brighter and brighter. Those in GRC includes you. Shines. Brighter and brighter. The path of who? The righteous. The path. Amen.

Moving Forward: From Glory to Glory, Not Regression

So, in other words, you're moving. You're not flat in a hospital bed. The path means you are moving. Can I have a good amen? And you're moving from glory to glory, from strength to strength, from grace to grace. You're not regressing.

This year, remember this. Whenever you feel that depression, you feel as if, instead of the smile of God, the favor of God, you feel His frown. You sense like He's angry with you. You sense, just know this. You've come under the law.

You might be a child of God, but you've come under the law. And when you're under the law, you always criticize others. You always find fault with others, but not yourself. You're not joyful anymore, even though you're a believer, because you're under this dark cloud. Amen?

You think that God is finding fault. Maybe there's something that you did, or something that you are not able to overcome. And the more you think that that God is angry with you, or God is not smiling anymore on you, you start feeling like Job.

Where are all the good days? When the candle shined on my head. When people respected me, they honored me. When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil. Days of abundance for a man in his profession. Amen? He says that, where are those days?

God's Ongoing Restoration Through History

If you look carefully, God is always restoring. Like I said, the path of righteous gets brighter and brighter. Whatever was lost in the dark ages, and also after that, God will restore back.

For example, justification by faith was something that the early church taught. God gave it to Paul. Paul calls it my gospel, the true gospel of grace and peace. And it was lost. But there was a church in existence at a time. And they taught all kinds of things, all kinds of good works even, all kinds of penance, all kinds of forms of repentance, but never justification by faith.

And then God raised a monk, a German monk by the name of Martin Luther, to restore the truth of justification by faith, not by your good works. You find that God is restoring, one by one, from Martin Luther's time since then.

Then, in the turn of the century, in the 1900s, God restored the baptism of the Holy Spirit to the church. Amen! We had Azusa revival, and it seems like the flow of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit falling on people. People began to pray in tongues, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit start flowing. It was so easy to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. God was restoring this truth to the church.

Revivals of Healing, Charismatic Gifts, and Prosperity

Then came the 50s, right after the war. You know what restoration it was? It was a restoration of healing. A restoration of healing. And people got healed easily. In fact, the ministers who lived during that time, they said that people got healed easily in meetings. They were healed of all kinds of conditions, chronic conditions, cancers, goiters dropping off from people in healing meetings.

Behind you will find on their rooftop, there are trophies of different kinds of, you know, like trappings they use for their condition, like crutches, wheelchairs of real people who walked out of them. Churches are filled with that. Amen. It was the healing revival.

Then came the charismatic revival in the 70s. In the 60s and 70s. And God restored again. It's like Azusa Street was the... Azusa Street, of course, it happened in the day of Pentecost, the former rain, and then the latter rain. And we stepped into the era of the latter rain. A full restoration.

Now, do you think that God's people prospering to be a blessing? Prosperity with a purpose. Amen. To glorify Christ. Amen. And to serve His purpose. Do you think that it is something that God is restoring?

But the enemy of this kind of truths of God's restoration is always the people of the previous movement. But the thing about every movement is this. Is that there comes with it some people on the parameters that are teaching things about it, but they're extreme. Yes.

So, for example, the voice of healing. You got people tell you don't have to go to doctors. Some of them even say doctors are bad. Medicine is bad. It's evil and all that. These are the parameter of people. They're not the main people.

So, those who are in the previous movement, they are criticizing this movement because of the people in the parameters. Amen. Every movement will come with it, this kind of parameters, you know. But don't take them as the majority. See what God is doing. Amen. Can I be good? Amen.

Restoration of Grace and Living in the "Now"

So, likewise for the restoration of prosperity. In the church, God wants His people to prosper. Amen. God wants you to be the head and not the tail. Amen. God wants you to lend and not borrow. To come to that place. Amen. That's in the Bible, by the way. I just quoted all that from the Bible. Amen. And all the promises of God in Him are yes and amen.

Now, look at this verse. 2 Corinthians 6. We then as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. Ah, it's possible not to receive, it's possible to receive the grace of God in vain.

And there's another restoration that happened. And it happened during my time. And I'm not the only one involved in this, of course, but definitely happened during my time. A restoration of the grace as the gospel, the true gospel. And that happened again probably in the 80s. It started 90s, more in the 90s. And it spread like wildfire. If it's not God, it cannot spread. Like that. Amen.

But then, it goes on to verse 2. For He says, so both ways, this is, these are the ways that people lose the grace of God working effectively in their lives. Amen.

Now Is the Accepted Time – Behold, Now!

First of all, they don't identify themselves with what God has made them. That's why it starts with, we then plead with you. You know, this we then, whenever you hear we then, you must hear the previous sentence.

If someone says, that's why I, that means you must hear what He said previously. Then I, then I, but what did you do previously? So, it's tied up with the previous verse, right? But it's also tied up with the verse 2 because it starts with 4, He says.

So, it's got to do with how to receive God's grace effectively. 4, He says. So, both has got to do with how we increase God's grace in our life, the favour of God in our lives.

And we know it's not by doing more. It doesn't come by doing more because it's unearned, unmerited favour, or else work is no more work, and grace is no more grace, if it's by works.

So, here it says, he quotes an Old Testament scripture from Isaiah 49. I believe it is. Is it Isaiah 49? Show me real quick. It's Isaiah 49. Okay, go back to. 2 Corinthians.

For he says, in an acceptable time, I have heard you. God is talking. And in the day of salvation, I have helped you. Behold, look, now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.

Wow. You know, when, when, when I saw this, I always hear this verse used for salvation. Salvation call, right? You'll find ministers saying, now is the day of salvation. Now is the accepted time. So, accept Jesus now. And that is true. That is true.

But let's not forget the word salvation there, soteria, is an all-inclusive word. It is not just saved from eternal destruction. It's not just safe to go to heaven. It includes safe in all its forms to do with things that came after the fall.

For example, when Jesus, the woman was healed, who touched the hem of his garment, he turned right, he told her this, your faith has sozo you, healed you. Right? But the sozo is the, the verb of soteria, the noun. It's the same word. So, salvation also includes healing.

Living in the Now: The Realm of Grace and Healing

Perhaps you received some bad news last year. And the condition is still in your body. But let me say this to you. Now is the day of healing. Okay? Now. Now.

So, you are, you must not live in what the doctor said. That is past. It's no more now. Alright? You are in the now.

Some of you are not living in the now because you are living in the future also. You know? Why? Or you see people around your cemetery. You see people attending your funeral. How dare you? Are you there yet? No.

But I got this condition. And that's not, listen, your condition. I can tell you this. Compared with, with those that God has healed, there are many that God has healed of that condition. There's no condition that God has not healed.

With men, even the things that are impossible are possible with God. You are not there. Dead. You are not there. You are in the now.

Yes. Physically, the problem is still there. And perhaps your last visit, the doctor says, is actually getting a bit worse. But you are still not there. You are now. You are in the now.

And as long as you live in the now, it's a place of healing. It's a place, God says, where I'll do miracles for you. I've hurt you.

Now, many of us, we, we regret things in the past. We fear things in the future. Or we worry about things in the future. Fear and worry and regret cannot exist in the now. But we don't live in the now.

Some of you listening to me preach right now, you're not listening to me. Yo! You are thinking about what to eat, how fast to go there before the queue comes. You're not there yet. You are now here now.

And the healing of God is flowing. The salvation of God is flowing. The grace of God is flowing. And it's all in vain. It's all in vain because you're waiting for next time. Amen. So, listen to the now word. Amen.

Kairos Time: The Favorable Now of God's Favor

So, it says, in an acceptable time, I have hurt you. Acceptable time, very interesting. It is the, the time there is kairos. Remember, kairos means what? Seasonable time. A time of favourable time. A time of God's goodness being shown. Amen. Amen. It's not chronos, it's kairos.

And, and the word acceptable is the word dektos. Remember the dektos year? We had a one year, the theme is the dektos year of the Lord. Dektos means what? Favourable year.

Jesus, we use that text in Luke 4 where Jesus says, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me. And one of the things He says, to heal the broken heart and all that, one of the things He says was to preach the dektos year of the Lord. The favourable year of the Lord.

And, and I think it was Vine or one of the Greek commentators on this word dektos that says, it's a year where the favours of God profusely abound. I love it. I love it.

In Hebrew, if you look at Isaiah 49, this quotation, it is the word ratzon, which is also the counterpart, amen, of favourable. Okay? Got it?

So how do I live in this kairos moment, in this dektos moment? Live in the now. God is saying, live in the now. When you live in the now, you keep on abounding. Now is the place of grace. Now is the place of kairos.

And in this place of now, I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me read the whole thing. I'm getting very excited, and I need to let you off.

In an acceptable time, I have heard you. In the day of salvation, I have helped you. So we heard this verse before in the Old Testament. So everyone says, I'm waiting for the accepted time, the favourable time, when God hears my prayer.

By the way, the word hurt there in the Greek is, hear with favour. Favour is all over this place. It's to hear with favour. Isn't that good? That means God will answer your prayer, right? To hear with favour.

God says, in an acceptable time, I have heard you. But if you look at the Old Testament, go back to the Old Testament where this is quoted from, it doesn't say now is the accepted time, right? In an acceptable time, I've heard you. In the day of salvation, I have helped you.

Now go back to that verse. But then Paul, Paul, by the Holy Spirit's revelation, he went further and says, all the past ages since Isaiah prophesied that an acceptable time is coming.

A time when God will hear your prayers with favour. A time when God will profusely abound on you with His favour. Amen. His goodness. And a day of salvation is a day of healing. It's a day of being whole, peace of mind. Amen.

God says, that day is coming. He never said now in Isaiah. Isaiah never said now. So, the people were longing, longing.

But the thing is this. Paul, by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, he quotes that verse first. And then he says, Behold, now is the accepted time. Behold, now, say now, is the day of salvation. Say now. Now.

Hey, where are you now? Hearing God's Word. What are you hearing now? Now. Are we going to receive? Now. Now.

Actually, the key to receiving is to stay in the realm of grace. And the realm of grace is in the now. If you live in the now, what this verse is saying is that this place of now is the place It's a place where there's salvation all around.

This place of now is the place of favour. It's the place of kairos. It's the place where God hears your prayer. Amen? It's a place where God will help you. God says, I will help you. In the day of salvation, I will help you. God's help is there. God's help is there. Hallelujah.

The Power of the Present: I AM in the Now

Paul is saying now, and by the way, now in the Greek is the word noon. N-U-N. Noon. Now is a time of favour.

So today, our attention, everything must look in your mind. Fishball noodle. Someone going. Nothing is... Your body is here in the now. Your body is in the now. But your mind is past or in the future.

And that's the realm of fear and worry, the future. Anxiety. And the past is regret. Remorse. Self-condemnation.

Live in the now. Learn to live one step at a time. One day at a time. Don't worry about the theme of the year next Sunday. Don't worry about it. I don't worry about it. Amen.

I'm going to live one day at a time. I'm going to enjoy every day with the Lord. Remember who is in the now? The I am. I am the resurrection. Know these words? I am the resurrection and the life. And I'm here now. Now.

Those who say, there used to be a God of miracles. Yes, it's in the past. These are scholars telling us that God doesn't do miracles today. They forget that He is I am, not I was. Okay?

So whenever you find yourself moving away from the now to the future in fear and worry or to the past in regret, in dark thoughts, put yourself back and say, Jesus, you are in the now. I see you in this current situation.

Even at the clinic, pull back to the now and say, Lord, you are I am. You are listening to this conversation and you have the answer.

And when you pray, live in the now. Believe that you receive it in spite of the fact that you don't have it yet because you will have if you believe. If you believe. Because that's a realm of grace, a realm of answered prayer. Can I have a good amen?
