Jesus Christ is the author of the power of two. The supernatural power to conquer every problem that you are facing begins with two people. When Jesus was starting the New Testament church, he sent the disciples out two by two (Mark 6:7). What kind of power did they have? They were given supernatural power over demons, over sickness and disease, and over anyone that tried to resist him. Jesus sent no one out to preach without giving them supernatural power.
In my research for this sermon, I have discovered that satanic clubs are being organized in America’s public schools. And your children are watching TikTok and are watching Witch Talk. That’s WITCH Talk. An impressive viewing audience of 187 billion views! What does that mean in common language? It means that America’s children are learning via TikTok how to cast spells, how to rebel against authority, how to get revenge, and how to seek vengeance. TikTok is a supernatural poison being put into your children’s minds through what they’re watching. Listen, there’s a war being fought for the future of America and for our children. We must win this war to save our children. Wake up, America! If we do not use our freedom to defend our freedom, we’re going to lose our freedom. And let me tell you, we are losing our freedoms right now. Thank God for Cornerstone Christian School! This is the place where Jesus is Lord, and the devil is not invited. He is a monster.
The power of two was demonstrated when Peter and John were going into the temple and they saw a man who was lame from his mother’s womb. They didn’t say, «We have a ministry in our church for people with your situation.» Peter said, «Silver and gold have I none,» identifying himself as a preacher. «Silver and gold have I none, but what I do have, I give to you: in the name of the Lord Jesus, rise up and walk.» And the Bible says he stood up instantly and began to run into the temple, leaping and praising God. That temple was 900 feet long, which means he was very well. Peter demonstrated that what he did have was the power of two. What he did have was supernatural healing from the Great Physician, and you have that! What he did have was worth more than silver and gold.
Peter was saying that what he did have was greater than anything you could imagine. He was saying, «What I do have, if you will receive it, you can take America back from the corrupt, evil, godless society that is in rebellion against righteousness.» America can have a revival of righteousness if the righteous will unify and come against the prince of darkness. What he did have is hope for the hopeless. What he did have is peace in the midst of the storm. The Bible says, «The half has not entered into the minds of men what God hath prepared for his own.» God has awesome power; He’s waiting for you to ask him to help you release that power, to defeat your enemies, to make a way where there is no way, to give you the provision that you’ve been searching for. Our God is an awesome God, wanting to demonstrate his power. Give him praise in the house.
Consider the power of the New Testament church. The early church went through great persecution. Now, in our society, we think if the press puts ugly things in the paper about you, that’s great persecution. That’s child’s play. If that would kill you, I’d have been dead a long time ago. They were beaten with a Roman cat o' nine tails until they bled almost to death. They were boiled in oil. They were crucified upside down, decapitated. When you get beaten, boiled in oil, crucified, decapitated, and put in prison, that’s persecution! Someone getting your parking place-that’s not persecution! Instead of praying for diplomacy and acceptance, instead of having seminars on diversity, instead of trying to placate hell’s legions with political correctness, they prayed that God would give them more boldness.
The thing that put them in jail was their boldness, and they asked God, «Give us more of it!» They didn’t deny the inerrancy of the word of God. They didn’t deny the virgin birth. They didn’t stop preaching Jesus Christ and him crucified for hot tub Christianity that teaches you how to adjust to your sin, not confess your sin. The Bible clearly says, «Whoever confesses and forsakes his sin shall have mercy with the Lord.» You confess and forsake your sin! They carried the Great Commission to the ends of the earth.
That’s why we’re here today! They brought down the Roman Empire. They loved not their lives unto the death. On their last day, living their last hour with their last breath, they had what the 21st century is looking for: supernatural power to break the powers and principalities destroying this nation. The power to save, the power to heal, the power to deliver from evil spirits. They had the awesome power of Jesus Christ-the power to conquer the fear of tomorrow and the guilt of the past; the power that gives birth to hope and confidence for the future; the power that makes demon spirits tremble when you walk in the room; the power that conquered the Roman Empire. We have the power to crush the force of evil. Let’s use it and take America back to God the Father and to the word of God.
My prayer is, «Father God, in the authority of Jesus' name, drive out the anarchy destroying America! Drive back the powers of darkness! Let America return to righteousness!» The Bible says, «Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.» King David writes in Psalms 23, «He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.» Psalms 18:20 states, «The Lord rewards me according to my righteousness.» Listen to that! The Lord rewards me according to my righteousness. What lies behind us and what lies before us are small compared to what lies within us. Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. Jesus Christ is in us; Satan is in the world. When you have him in you, you can ask the Father what you will, and it will be done. You don’t need to worry about the devil.
Listen to this verse: Psalms 85:10 — «For righteousness and peace have kissed each other.» Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Note the sequence here. The world is searching for peace and is never going to find it. America is searching for peace. We have peace conferences; we have people running all over the world seeking peace; but you’re never going to have it. Why? Because in God’s economy, righteousness comes before peace. Amen. Proverbs 16: «Better is a little with righteousness than great riches without justice.» Ladies and gentlemen, that’s the portrait of America right now: great riches without justice. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the gospel of power.
St. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 4:20, «The kingdom of God does not come in word alone, but it comes in power.» Write that verse down: 1 Corinthians 4:20. David writes in Psalm 62:11, «Power belongs to the Lord.» Power belongs to the Lord! Jesus said in Matthew 28, «All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.» Jesus has that power. There’s awesome power in his word. Pray this, speak this, read this, believe this, and obey this. There’s awesome power in the word, power in his blood, power in his name, and power in his presence. Surely the presence of the Lord is in this house! He is an awesome God. He has awesome power, and he wants to share it with you, and you, and you, and those of you who are watching on television. If any two of you shall stand together in agreement on the authority of God’s word, you will ask what you will, and God will do it.
You see corruption in America’s judicial system like you’ve never seen it before and wonder if our nation is going to survive. You want to know the secret of finding and releasing God’s power to attack your problem? How can we take America back? It is through the power of two. The Bible is a book of twos. The Bible says no man can serve two masters. There are only two positions in scripture: a god of twos. You’re either saved or lost. You’re either wheat or tares. You’re either sheep or goats. You’re either going to heaven or you’re a heartbeat from going to hell. There’s a broad way that leads to hell. There’s a narrow way that leads to the gates of heaven. You’re either walking in the light of God or in the darkness of the prince of darkness. You’re either a servant to Christ or a slave to sin and Satan.
Where are you in this picture? Jesus said, «Think not that I have come to bring peace; I have come to bring a sword.» A sword divides. The sword of Jesus Christ has divided the world. You either love Jesus or you don’t. If you love him, he’s your Savior; if you don’t, you’re following the prince of darkness. He divides light from darkness, faith from fear, sheep from goats, truth from deception. We’re not all going to heaven in the sweet by and by. If you don’t know Jesus Christ, you’re lost and without Christ. The Bible says, «Two are better than one.» The message there is that we, as a church, are not put on this earth to see who we can put out; we’re here to see who we can pick up and bring in. Amen!
The church in America needs to rediscover the love of God and start with each other. The person next to you, being a born-again Christian, is your brother and your sister in God. Whether you like it or not, we’re all related. God has some squirrely children, I’ll admit that, but they’re all the body of Christ. God loves us all, or he doesn’t love us at all. Can I hear an amen in the house? Amen! Ecclesiastes 4:9 is the verse: «Two are better than one. One will lift up his companion, but woe unto him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.» Listen to this! God’s mathematical formula in Deuteronomy 32:30: «If one can chase a thousand, two can put ten thousand to flight.» Think about that! If you have 5,000 prayer partners-which this church could do with 10,000 people in agreement-if two people in agreement can chase 10,000, then 5,000 prayer partners can chase 50 million people! That’s our prayer pattern! I still believe when we get to heaven, we’re going to gasp at how much power we had access to but never used. Agreement can do more than a multitude in discord.
Mary and Joseph presented to the world an answer in swaddling clothes. When Herod slaughtered the infants in Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph didn’t complain to each other. Mary didn’t say, «Well, Joseph, if we’re in the will of God, why was my baby born in a cave? Why not the Methodist hospital? I didn’t have a doctor. There was no epidural. There was no ambulance to drive me there. I rode on a donkey.» You can see the self-pity starting to surface here. When the Pharisees denounced her son as a heretic and as a demonized teacher, when Rome called him a traitor, they stood together. The power of two parents — the power of two parents in agreement-crushed the Roman Empire through their son, Jesus Christ. Surely you can stand up against a school board that’s seeking to destroy your children, teaching that boys can become girls and girls can become boys. That is moral insanity! That is witchcraft! If there was ever witchcraft in this country, surely on election day, you can vote the corrupt out of office. Politicians who lie, who bow to the will of foreign countries, and betray this nation have no right to be our leaders. We need the righteous in office.
America is being destroyed by the collapse of the family. The Bible says, «Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers.» The message is that you can never know the power of two if you’re married to an unbeliever. Let me push that a little further: Don’t even date an unbeliever. Why? Because you will marry someone you date. That’s right! «Oh, he’ll change.» I wish I had a $10 bill for every time I’ve heard that stupid remark. «Oh, he’ll change!» He will! He’ll get worse. The real person is home, locked up in a cage, waiting for you to say, «I do.» And then you’ve had it! Boy, is it quiet in here!
Consider the supernatural power of two. Why supernatural power? Because you have supernatural enemies! Ephesians 6:12 states, «For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,» that’s earthly beings, «but against powers and principalities, against the ruler of darkness and wickedness in high places.» High places mean the second heaven. There are three heavens: the heavens we see with our natural eye, the second heaven where Satan has his throne and runs his evil empire, and the third heaven where God and his holy angels are right now. The Bible says your enemies are supernatural, and they’re organized into rank. They have geographical areas of authority. They’re totally committed to your destruction and to mine. Satan is very real. He’s your sworn enemy. The Bible says he has come to rob, to kill, and to destroy. America’s falling apart because the family is falling apart. Over 50% of children do not live with their biological family. The power of two, of mom and dad in prayer together, gives you awesome power!
Waging war for the minds of your children is a real war in your house right now, especially if you’re in public schools. All that is necessary for America to fall is for one generation to stop reading the Bible, and that’s the absolute truth. The Bible has been taken from the school, and many people don’t read the Bible. Most do not read it. Satan is the angel of light; he’s the master of deception. His goal is to divide, devour, and deceive. And the way you drive him out is that you begin to pray in the authority of Jesus' name. You can bind the spirit of fear, you can bind the spirit of depression, you can bind the spirit of bitterness, you can bind the spirit of resentment, and you can bind the spirit of envy. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed! You have that power; use it!
Power belongs to two in agreement. The word agreement is the word «symphono,» which means symphony. Symphony means harmony. If I could get this side to sing one note and this side to sing one note, all singing the same note at the proper time is beautiful! That’s what happens in the choir. But if I ask you to all stand up and for 30 seconds scream, that’s disharmony! That’s what the Bible is talking about. Many marriages are not in spiritual agreement. You can’t agree on who’s leading. (Leading, L-E-A-D-I-N-G.) You can’t agree on what the children should be doing. You can’t agree on your finances. Satan is laughing at you and ripping you to shreds.
During the marriage ceremony, two become one. They go on a honeymoon and find out which one! A husband and wife were having a heated argument on vacation. They drove for miles in silence; neither one would budge. I won’t ask you how many of you have been in a similar situation. The husband pointed to a mule that was in a pasture and said, «Is that a relative of yours?» She said, «Yes, by marriage.»
Isaiah 45:11 has God speaking to man concerning the works of my hands. This is what God says: «Command ye me.» God is in heaven looking at you, and you, and you, and you, and you, and every person watching on television. That awesome power that created this world is saying, «Command ye me!» What you bind on earth, I will bind in heaven. The initiative rests with you, not God! Quit asking, «When is God going to do something?» God is looking down and saying to you, «When are you going to ask me to do what I’ve agreed to do?» You are the one that starts that.
What area of life is under attack right now? Find someone with whom you can agree and both of you start praying together based on the word of God, and I assure you God will make a way where there seems to be no way. He will open doors that are closed; He will solve problems that are in the making. God is an awesome God!
Can we stand to our feet? Here’s what I want to do at the end of this service. Instruction without application produces frustration. I want you to find right now someone that you can pray with, just a partner. And what we’re going to pray for is for God to send a righteous revival to the United States of America. I want you to start praying right now with that person. Just begin to pray that God will supernaturally pour out a spiritual revival in the United States of America; that the enemies of truth will be destroyed, that corrupt politicians will be uprooted, and that God will cause righteousness to explode in the pulpits of the United States of America. Release the anointing of God to cleanse this nation and to bring righteous revival in Jesus' name. In Jesus' name, in Jesus' name, Amen!
