If you will stand for the reading of the Word, Genesis, we’re in chapter one. How many stars are in the sky? Just say it out loud, «Baby, I’m a star! I’m a star, a star, star, star!» I don’t know that song. Oh wow, that’s a great song by Dr. John Gray! Look at that!
Listen, I want to get to this Word. This is the Word of the Lord. I know it’s going to bless your life. I just want to know if there’s anybody that is hungry for the Word of God. Let me encourage you: next week, I need you to do me a favor. I need you to invite one person to church. Everybody throw up one finger. Just one! Invite one person you know. 865 people? Invite one of them! Invite one! Everybody say, «Invite one!»
All right, let’s go to Genesis chapter 1. We’re at the 20th verse. I’m not sure how this one’s going to land. You better hush, Kenzo! Don’t be in here disturbing me while I’m getting ready to preach, boy! It’s clear your mama doesn’t whoop you. You don’t get any whoopings 'cause you talk too much!
Genesis chapter 1, I’m at the 20th verse. I’m reading from the New King James Version, by the way. God is already answering prayers from the First Fruits. I said He’s answering prayers from the First Fruits already! I heard from one of our mighty leaders. I prophesied two weeks ago that they would get a promotion, and they came up today to tell me that they got their promotion last week-just a few days ago! I spoke it two weeks ago in the midst of the fast. I knew that God was going to do it, and I was told that God did it!
That’s just one testimony. I’ve been hearing from other people. What did God do? You want to hurry up and say, «Hurry up and tell us!» So this is what you need to know: the cancer was there, and she asked me to pray. We prayed during the fast. We also declared and prophesied and believed that God was going to do it.
Now, have you had any chemo? Surgery? Did you have chemo? Radiation? On the first day of the fast, she got her final biopsy but did not get the results until the 24th. She was supposed to get it within three to five days but got it at the end of the fast. She was diagnosed on the first day with cancer. By the end of the fast, every single cell that they biopsied was clear of cancer-no radiation, no chemotherapy, no surgery, but a fasting church, praying leaders, and some anointing oil!
Can somebody give God praise that our sister is free from cancer? Some of y’all have your Bibles in your hands; you can’t shout like you want, but you can open your mouth! You can’t clap, but you can open your mouth! You know the thing about cancer is that it tries to scare you. It’s such a terrifying word. I bind the capital’C' on that. The only capital’C' is Christ.
Genesis 1, verse 20-let’s get into this Word. Then God said, «If He said it, you better know it’s got to happen!» That’s why you’re here, 'cause God said it. I’m already preaching better than you’re shouting!
Then God said, «Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.» So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind. And every winged bird, according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
And God blessed them, saying, «Be fruitful and multiply.» And watch this: «Fill the waters in the seas and let birds multiply on the earth. Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the waters in the seas- very important! Let birds multiply on the earth.»
So the evening and the morning were the fifth day. Now normally, I’ve been going one day at a time, but last week I had to go back to day three because we had two weeks on the stars. So I' m going to condense two weeks into the next 28 minutes. So y’all just need to bear with me, all right?
So check this out. Then God said, «Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping things-that’s bugs! Jesus, I don’t know why You did that, God. That doesn’t make any sense! Roaches are not necessary, mosquitoes are not necessary, spiders are not necessary. Those silverfish and flying roaches -those palmetto bugs! Is there anything worse than a roach? But a flying roach? The fact that it can fly! It can get up and fly and hit you in the face! I don’t know what You were thinking, God. I don’t know what You were doing.»
And every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded-wait a minute, I already did that one-creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind, and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything-somebody say «everything"-everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good!
This is day five and a half. Watch this: actually, this is… yeah, 'cause this is about to be the end of the sixth day. Then God said, «Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.»
Okay, here we go. So God created man in His own image. In the image of God, He created him-male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them-tell somebody, «It’s not about you. It’s about the them!» There is a corporate blessing. God blessed them. Help me!
And God said, «Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and subdue it.» Now He told the water creatures to fill the seas, but He didn’t tell anybody to subdue except us! Watch this: not only that, have dominion-somebody shout «dominion!"-over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. And I just need you to grab this: over every living thing that moves on the earth, have dominion! Somebody say «dominion!»
So we are in our «Let There Be» series. Thank you for your patience; you’ve been standing while I read the Word, but we have to have a foundation in Scripture; otherwise, you’ve got empty calories. But today, I need you to go and just trust me on this, because the root word is «Dominion.» I need you to shake somebody’s hand and say, «You’re shaking the hand of a dominionaire.» Today’s title is «Let There Be Dominionaire.» Dominionaire, go ahead and be seated. Lord, speak through your Word and get the glory from it. Thank you for the opportunity to preach it as you gave it. In Jesus' name, amen.
I remember the first time I met Stevie Wonder, and I was so excited. I’m just all in his face, saying, «It’s nice to meet you.» He can’t see me; he was just in it. I could have been on the side; he wouldn’t have known. I took the picture; I was like, «Come on, let’s take a picture.» He smiled. I was like, «Take them glasses off; you can see me.» But I remember how I felt because I grew up with his music. «S’one your love with do roses, make sure she knows it.» Some of y’all don’t know that one, but y’all know all the other songs. «Looking back on I was a little nappy-headed boy. Okay, I wish those days would come back once more. Why did those days have to go? I love them so.» Y’all not with me, okay? So don’t even get up; it’s too late. Don’t even try to help me. He saved for real. Like, I don’t know. I’m not familiar with it; I only know Maverick City, that’s all I know. Oh no, that’s not what I want.
I remember how I felt when I met him because his music to me reflects God in a different way. It’s not gospel music in the sense that it says «Jesus,» but if you listen to «Songs in the Key of Life,» it’s one of the greatest albums ever made. If you can’t hear God or sense God’s presence on that gift, then you miss the fact that there are some things that God does that are not in church buildings. We always think that God only moves in these buildings. Why would we limit God to these gatherings? Right now in India, there is a gathering for a religious ritual, and there are 420 million people there. How many people knew about this? Let me see your hands if you know what I’m talking about. I want you to look around because there’s only seven of us that know, and the rest of y’all are watching. I don’t know what you’re watching, but if you’re not up on global events, you’re missing what God is doing in the earth.
Pastor, why are you talking about that? It’s not something that we should necessarily know about. You should know because you are global kingdom citizens, and your prayer assignment is bigger than Greenville. You are called to effectuate change across the world, and the world is not a church building. Pastor, I’m not following the correlation. Stevie Wonder has a gift from God. Have you ever seen somebody excel in a particular gift, and it’s like only God could have given them that gift? When I grew up, the greatest of all time still is Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan… don’t @ me. Don’t talk to me about LeBron. He’s great; he’s phenomenal, but Michael Jordan-people would stop working to watch him. This dude looked like he was flying. And then another one wrote the song «I Believe I Can Fly.» I know we don’t want to talk about R & B, but he’s the best R&B writer of all time, period. I hope the Lord gets a hold of his heart. I hope he repents. I hope he turns. But gifts are given without repentance. So you can either submit it to God and maximize it, or you can do what you want, and it will ruin you. Because a gift from God without the God of the gift will cause you to think you’re the God of the gift, and you will never heed it properly.
I need an 8-second praise break. There are people who are excellent at what they do, and they’re not in a church building. Michael Jordan is getting paid today. He is not working today; he’s getting paid today because today, somebody is in a mall, and they are buying Jordans. If you have on a pair of Nikes right now, lift your hands. It’s only because in 1984, yes sir, his mama told Phil Knight, «You not just G to sign my son. We ain’t just glad to be here.» Oh, excuse me, Miss Knight; I shows we’ll take a check. She said, «Pay me in equity.» Watch; we reversed out of debt. Skir, somebody say «Equity.» Equity-that’s ownership. And they understood that he is such a rare gift that if we give him a percentage, if it does well, he does well. If it doesn’t, he doesn’t. He bet on himself. And this year, just the residuals from that vision will bring him $280 to $300 million plus, and he’ll get that every year as long as Nike is a business. When he dies, his heirs-there are people with his last name that don’t have to work because he maximized the area of his dominion.
I’m going somewhere; stay with me. So who’s the greatest entertainer of all time? Say it again: Michael Jackson. Somebody said Beyoncé. She’s great; she is not Mike. Mike can stand on the stage and do this here, grown men fainting, folk dying and coming back to life. He’s done put a hook in the stage and just bent over for y’all and came back up. And that, I know of, he never sang a gospel song, but if you listen to «Man in the Mirror,» yes sir, it sounds like something you could find in a proverb. When you find somebody that takes dominion over an area, it changes everything.
How many people know who Warren Buffett is? He’s from Nebraska. He started a business called Berkshire Hathaway, I believe, in the'50s. He’s the second richest man in the world right now; he owns everything. They own everything. Berkshire Hathaway took over the financial markets. He understood, and he took dominion- somebody say «Dominion.» I’m going somewhere. He took dominion over finance. Anybody got an Apple phone? iPhone, iWatch, this, that? Anybody have an Apple product in your house? Throw your hands up. There was a man named Steve Jobs. Keep your hand up. Steve Jobs, in California, with a guy named Steve Wozniak, sitting in his garage, had one idea, and your hand is raised now, and that was close to 50 years ago.
Watch this: At one point, Apple kicked him out of leadership, and it began to fail. They brought him back because you can’t produce what came from my womb. That’s why even though Apple is still a trillion-dollar company right now by valuation, their innovation has not been the same since Steve Jobs died because when a visionary leaves who has dominion, it leaves a void in the earth. But I’m getting ready to help you in here because there are kingdom heirs and kingdom citizens that God is now whispering to in the middle of the night, saying, «It’s your time now.» Who am I talking to? He’s been waking you up, saying, «It’s time.»
I need to make sure before I go to this second half of my sermon that I’m in the right church. There are some people here and online that God has been saying, «It’s time; you got to go; you got to get up.» Come on, we got to get up. I got to talk to you, but it’s 3:48. This is the only time I can get you by yourself. Get up; I need to talk to you. I need to give you some strategy. I need to give you some plans. I need to give you a couple of names, because when you hear that name, I need you to go into that office and say these words: God wants to give you specific instructions with details because he’s getting ready to do for you what he promised to your great-grandmother.
I’m really fighting hard today. I need the leaders to pray for me because I’m hitting something in the atmosphere. Maybe it’s the dullness of the spirit over this region that wants you to stay an employee when God has called you to take dominion. I used to think a million dollars was a lot until I had a million, and the moment you spend a dollar-my wife told me this-you ain’t no millionaire no more. You a $999, 000aire. I remember in those years, TV and movies, and books, and all of this stuff, but I had had no financial plan. I had no wisdom, and I was living like it was always going to be that way. God had to whoop me in my head and say, «Stop being immature and stop walking around like a kid at the candy store or at the ice cream truck. You need to start walking in wisdom and employ strategy for the resources I give you because I’m watching how you’re moving, and I want to give you more, but you’re not handling this with wisdom.»
I’m trying to help somebody in here. God wants you to have dominion, but he’s not giving you dominion until you take responsibility. Man, I’m really pressing today. Are you guys hearing me? Good, good, good, good, good. All right, so here’s what I want you to get: there are some things that God wants to get to you, but if you don’t take personal accountability, personal responsibility; if you don’t start taking care of your health, you’re going to miss what God wants to do in totality. No one shouts when you have to do something. When it’s God about to bless you and give you all the things, we’re ready, but then God says, «I want to do that, but I want you to jog.» «Why should I jog?» «You gave me a word.» «I know I gave you a word; I also want you to work out so that you can live long enough to fulfill the word.» Am I talking to anybody?
Don’t say, «I’m big-boned.» Don’t say, «It runs in my family.» It needs to clearly show as big as some of us are; nothing runs in our family. You might walk in your family, but you ain’t running nowhere. That’s funny. So, right, love story, big bags just in here. Just let me get a pork sandwich with some extra cheese and a Diet Coke. Stop it. Somebody say, «I’m a dominionaire.» I’m a dominionaire. I’m speaking prophetically now. I want to see who’ll catch this. I’m talking to you in the red sweater. I’m looking right at you in the glasses, baby. I’m looking right at you. How many millionaires do we have in the room? Shake somebody’s hand; tell them you just shook the hand of a millionaire. Now, if you didn’t believe it when you said it, I’mma say it again: how many millionaires do we have in the room? How many do we have online? What are you going to do with it?
I’m sorry, what are you going to do with it? If the FDIC only insures deposits up to $250,000 per account, that means you’re going to need at least four accounts for just the first million. I’m trying to help somebody in here. If you don’t have a plan for your money, it’s going to fly away. This is what the Bible says: «Riches will sprout wings.» How do people win $100 million in the lottery and three years later be bankrupt? Because for some people, it doesn’t matter how much you get; that spirit that’s on you is going to cause you to waste it all. I’m trying to talk dominion. Somebody shout, «Dominion.» I’m going somewhere; let me get there quickly.
I want to grab this story of creation and the narrative of God developing and creating over the first five and a half days, culminating in this unbelievable creation called you. You were the thing that God had in mind the entire time. Now, I’ve talked about Stevie Wonder, Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly; I’ve talked about all these other people. Let’s talk about some who are some other people that took dominion in their field. Chris Brown-he took dominion. Who else? Tom Brady. Now, how many Tom Brady fans we got? How many people don’t like Tom Brady? You don’t know him; you never met him. Ain’t no reason for you not to like him other than the fact that he’s rich, he’s handsome, and he’s won seven Super Bowls. Here’s the problem: people don’t like you when you win too much. I’m here to tell a thousand people in here and 50,000 online, it’s a whole lot of people that are not going to like you in 2025. Seventeen people ought to give God a praise right there. They’re not going to like you because you’re going to keep winning. You’re going to keep getting favor. You’re going to step into real estate investment opportunities. You’re going to step into debt freedom. You’re stepping into the promise that God made over your life.
I don’t want anybody in my life that can’t celebrate my wins anyway. If you can’t celebrate with me-and watch this, and the people who’ve been around long enough should know. If I’m in my season of favor, you should be cheering because you were with me when it wasn’t this way. Who am I talking to in here? I want to celebrate with the people that say, «I watched you come up; I watched you go through hell; I watched you almost give up. Now look at you walking in your favor, got you a beautiful new home. Look at how God restored you. The first marriage didn’t work; now you’re all in love and booed up. Y’all on vacation in Mexico; your kids got scholarships to college. How did God turn this around?» I’m trying to help somebody; you’re about to step into your dominionaire status. Everything God created, he created on purpose, with purpose, for purpose. And then he said, «Ma, it’s all good. Everything I made is good.» The first four days, all I did was divide night from day, light from dark, water from water, earth from heaven. Then I started creating. Let me get the herbs of the field and the trees.
Then, because I don’t want to make birds first because they’ll have nowhere to land. If you start looking at the order of God, you’ll see the genius of God. He never told anybody what he was doing; he just started creating. But he never creates from the beginning to the end; he creates the end from the beginning. So he starts with the end in mind. Even though we meet him on day one, he was already at day six. I need you to know you serve a day-six God, so no matter what season you’re in, you need to know in the entirety of your life, the only thing God had in mind for you was to walk in dominion.
Okay, now I just found out why I’m battling because I’m trying to speak against a mindset, and the mindset is a domesticated Christian that comes to Safe Church once a week so that you can feel like you did something, as opposed to those who know that this is just a pit stop for me to be what I’m supposed to be when I leave here. Because this is not where I take dominion. I take dominion at my job; I take dominion at that school; I take dominion at the bank; I take dominion at the university; I take dominion at the hospital; I take dominion at the clinic; I take dominion at the auto store dealership; I take dominion at the mall; I take dominion at the bank.
All right, all right, it’s too quiet in here. It’s Super Bowl Sunday. Five to ten people, high five them, low five them, fist bump them, and just say, «Dominion, dominion, dominion.» Say it loud; put it in the chat feed as many times as you can. Dominion! Boom! Now blow it up. There it is. Dominion! Y’all didn’t stand up. Dominion! High five two people around you. Dominion! Dominion! And I found myself, when I started walking in my domain, my dominion, when I started walking in the authority of the thing that God created for me to walk in, I started noticing that other dominionaires started finding me. Oh, because deep calls unto deep.
Watch this, and shallow calls unto shallow. So if you are frustrated because you’re around a bunch of surface people, you’re probably in the kiddie end of the pool. Tell somebody, «Get out of the kiddie pool.» Y’all playing with me; I’m going to just talk to the people in the balcony because they keep it real gangsta up there. They come in late, do what they want, they leave early; I love them. My man up there, he got his hands behind his back like, «Hurry up, man. The pre-show game is on in about 30 minutes.» Listen, let me tell you. When you start walking in deeper waters, you will attract stronger swimmers.
Now, my conversations, Elder Linton, are with billionaires, and we talk about billionaire things. We talk about global processes, the geopolitical structure of the Middle East. We talk about things like ending hunger and poverty disparity. I talk to billionaires because that’s where I’m going. And I’m not going to announce it. Here’s how you’ll know I ain’t coming here no more: I' m going to be on an island somewhere in some flip-flops. I’m playing; I’m playing. My calling is not contingent upon money. I’ve never done this for money; I’ll never do it for money. I’d rather die than dishonor God.
But what I will do is this: when I do get there, I’m going to be just as quiet and just as secret, and I’m going to start showing up in little churches. We already talked about it; we’re going to little churches way out in the country, no internet, no Wi- Fi, no cameras, and we’re just going to pay the building. I only got one; a two? All right, see, if you don’t have a plan for your wealth to bless other people, it’s not coming. If you don’t have a plan to help poor people and to help marginalized people and people who are afraid they’re getting ready to get kicked out of this country and this is all they know, then you don’t have God’s heart.
If you can look at the news and be laughing 'cause people are getting arrested 'cause they don’t have the right papers, you have a problem because you didn’t have the right papers, and God allowed you, as an illegal alien, to come into the kingdom through the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is your Visa. The blood of Jesus is your passport. So it’s real strange that you got a bunch of church folk talking about illegal aliens when the Bible says you a Gentile and far off from God, and he grafted you into the promise. So you got a lot of nerve trying to kick somebody out of a country when you weren’t even a citizen of Heaven.
I need everything in here to make some noise. When Jesus left Bethlehem to flee to Egypt, he was fleeing political persecution and religious persecution. They were trying to kill him, and if he had gone back to the land that he came from, they would have killed him. And his church folk are ready to throw people back into places where they left because they weren’t sure if they were going to live or die. I’m not talking about the legal or illegal of it 'cause you don’t want to have that conversation with me about a country that was already occupied when Columbus discovered it.
I’ve been quiet for seven years; maybe today is the day. Maybe today is the daggone day. I’m so tired of the church-certain aspects of the Evangelical Church-want to send everybody to hell and kick everybody out of the country, and you want to put Jesus in front of your politics? You would have kicked Jesus out of this country; he didn’t have the right papers. Hallelujah! So what you’re saying? We should have open borders? No, we should protect from criminals and from wicked people. You should also extend love, mercy, and grace. If you’ve been extended love, mercy, and grace, I haven’t gotten to any of my points; I’m sorry, but I feel God breaking something off of us because the church has been too quiet in here shouting for two hours on a Sunday and not doing nothing about what’s going on in the real world.
That’s why people don’t want to come in here because we’re not at the homeless shelter like we should be; we’re not under bridges like we should be; we’re not in them streets like we should be. Some of y’all know how to club; you know how to dance; you know how to show up at the bar, and now all of a sudden, you’re afraid to talk to the same people that you used to be with 'cause you don’t want them to think you’re fake. It’s not fake to say, «I used to be this, but now I’m that.» You need to go right back to the bar, sit at the stool, have a glass of water, talk to your old friends and say, «You remember when this cup had brown liquor? Now it’s got water. Let me tell you how I got some new stuff. I got some living water, and I don’t need to be inebriated because I got the Holy Ghost.»
I need some help in here from my leaders. I’m trying to preach it like I feel it. The church needs to wake up. It’s not enough to shout in here; you got to take dominion out there. God expects you to run things. I’m trying to help somebody in here. When I got this revelation six and a two years, I’ve been pastoring -I’ll be seven in May-six and a half years. I’m coming into my day seven; I’m coming into my rest. But I had to work for these six days. I worked, I fought, prayed, cried-all that-failed, succeeded, had demonic attacks, had personal foolishness and dumb things that I did. Everything ain’t the devil; the devil tried to take me out. No, you typed that in the search feed: Devil didn’t take over your hands; you typed what you wanted to see.
But now is the time for us to step out of this building, this comfort zone, and go win souls to the kingdom. Hallelujah! God created everything you see, and then on day six, the five and a half days in, he says, «Now that everything is prepared, now I’m getting ready to hit y’all with the coup de grâce.» The penultimate! I’m going to dip down, pick up some stardust, form it, and breathe into it from Myself. One breath of eternity has quickened every mortal body. He didn’t breathe every time a baby is born; he breathed once, and all babies were in that breath. He breathed once, and every invention was in that breath. He breathed once; every song was in that breath. Every creative idea was in that breath. Everything you and I would ever do was in that one breath. Somebody shout, «One breath!» One breath changed the world!
That’s why when you breathe in and out, your breath is saying, «Yahweh.» You’re praising God just by breathing. What’s your name, young king? Huh? Jacob. What a great name! Jacob. You know what that name Jacob means? It means «heel grabber.» It means «supplanter.» It literally means «one who takes the place of another.» His brother Esau was older, but God didn’t like Esau; he liked Jacob. So you need to know, Jacob, God likes you. He doesn’t just love you; he likes you. He likes your hair; he likes your locks; he likes your glasses. He likes that you like video games. He likes that you chew gum in church and do it real chill while the pastor’s talking to you on the second row.
Let me tell you, I’m encouraging you, Jacob, and he’s like, «Why is he calling me out? I don’t know this man; I’m a visitor at this church. I don’t understand.» But Jacob, I just want to encourage you that the name Jacob is one who wrestled with God. And when you get finished wrestling with God, he changes your name. He changes your status, and he changes your destiny. Are there any people who have wrestled with God and now you got some dominion that you need? I’m taking dominion. I’m tired of walking around like God didn’t give this to me.
God was so upset with me. I used to come on this campus real sheepish, and wow, Lord, I can’t… he said, «And that’s why they don’t respect you, because you don’t believe what I put in you.» And so every time somebody tries to honor you, «No, that’s okay; you ain’t got to do that.» Then, eventually, they stop honoring you. Then you get offended because you were insecure in yourself when I told you who you were. And the problem with some of y’all, you' ve been dumbing it down for the people around you, and you’re not doing them any favors. You’re not doing yourself any favors, and you’re not doing God any favors. You better throw your shoulders back; you better look them people in the face and say, «Excuse me; do you know who I am? Do you know how blessed you are to be in relationship with me? Do you know that I’m a child of the King? Do you know that I am submitted to the blood of Jesus? Do you know that when I pray, heaven backs me? Do you know when I lay my hands, cancer falls off? Do you know who I am? I’m a dominionaire!»
Where the millionaires at? Where the billionaires at? Where the trillionaires at? Where the quadrillionaires at? Where the dominionaires at? Everybody say «Dominionaire!» We need to go on and get that shirt done before some other church pastor who’s watching me right now with his raggedy self this afternoon. The Lord told me, «Dominionaire, get you some air conditioning with some dominion on it.» No, sir, I’m sorry. I’m a dominionaire, which means I am an authorized agent of God in this area. The reason why my voice echoes here is because this is where he gave me dominion.
Where are the men? Where are the heads of their household? Where the grown men at? Where the grown men at? Listen, fellas, let me ask you a question. Talk to me. Where the rest of the men? Some of y’all sit New York Yankees said, «I’m talking to you, man. Listen, I need your help.» When you walk in the house, wait a minute -dominion- minded men-married. Where the married men at? Let me ask y’all this: You ever come home and you smell food cooking? Don’t that bless your heart real good? I’m not saying that only women cook; I’m not saying that. So for any of y’all that’s like, «I’m single; I’m independent,» hush. Ain’t nobody-you be independent and single. What I’m saying is this: no, because that spirit is antithetical to what God wants in a Proverbs 31 woman in totality.
«I don’t need no man» will have what you say. Something about when I come home, and I smell food cooking makes me feel like, «You know, okay, okay.» But this is my favorite part. After the food is cooked, 'cause there’s a whole bunch of hungry people that live in my house. They my son and my daughter; they don’t pray; they don’t ask nothing; they don’t fast nothing. She makes my plate first. Amen. Hey, Ron, there’s something sexy about that first plate, doc. That first piece of chicken hot out the air fryer. 'Cause we don’t do no grease. 'Cause I, you know, I get my plate first 'cause it’s my house; I pay the rent, mortgage in here.
In my house, that’s my chicken, son. You’re eating borrowed chicken. Matter of fact, spin it up. No, there’s something about when you walk in your house. Any fellas here got your favorite chair? All right, so I had a favorite chair in my previous house, and my mother-in-law, when she visits, she comes and sits in that chair without fail. She’d be like, «Baby, you want your chair?» I said, «No, Mother, you got it. You good.» You know how little kids want my chair? «I want my chair.» It’s other chairs, and it’s other sofas, but that’s my seat-the way I got it angled, the way the print of my cheek is in the cushion, I got my remote hand, I got my drink hand for my non-alcoholic beverage 'cause it’s my house.
I want things done my way. Whose house is this? He should have things his way. He said, «Let everything that have breath praise me.» I’m waiting for you to give him what he deserves in his house. You’re not going to come in my house and not acknowledge me, so you’re not going to come in God’s house and not acknowledge him. This is his dominion; this is his domain; this is the place of his dwelling. Somebody in the back sitting down ought to give God praise. You ain’t got to stand up, but you can clap them hands.
All right, where the dominionaires? Put your hand up. Don’t let anybody around put your hand up. No, because I’m not letting people live average. Is your God average? So then how are you living average? There’s a distance between your dominionaire status and the fruit of your life. Oh my God! We was on the plane the other day. A lady came up; she was real funky acting at first. Remember? She was real funky. And then at the end of the flight, she said, «I was instructed.» She had a piece of -» I was instructed to come and acknowledge and honor you.» Same lady was mean as a rattlesnake on the plane; she was a server. I ain’t say nothing to her; she said, «Mr. Gray, thank you. You’ve flown with us almost two million miles.»
She looked at you like you didn’t know; like this is your hus-did you know he’s got almost 2 million miles? She was like, «Yeah?» What she thought? No, it’s funny how people switch up. Yes sir, when they find out who you are. Uh-oh, uh-oh, it’s almost time to go; 242, set, hut; I’mma throw this, catch this touchdown. Come- ain’t it funny? Yes sir, how people treat you? Now, take notes, baby, because in about 8 days from now, some of them same people that treated you common and average are going to have to come back with what they had in their hand and say, «Excuse me, I did not know who you were.»
Uh -oh, uh-oh, they going to have to apologize for the way they treated you because God’s going to give them a reminder of your dominion. Write this down; move quick; write this down: I’m a dominionaire, baby. I’m a dominionaire. That’s not what I want you to write down, but I want you to write these points down-this is good-grab this, Linton.
Number one: because of everything that God created, he created us in His image. He gave us dominion; that means we run things. There’s something about a person who runs whatever it is they’re in charge of: «This mine. I run this; this mine; I run this here.»
So the first thing you need to know is God prepares before he places. God, when are you going to place me in my promise? When everything is prepared. God did not make man and say, «Sit here and watch me create.» He created everything and then caused Adam to step into prepared works. This is good! Adam didn’t have to create anything; he had to steward what was already created. In this season, ask the Lord to give you an anointing for stewardship. Amen. Oh my God, that’s not in the notes.
This is right; get this revelation: God, make me a good steward. What does that mean? You’re going to be so influential, or you will be trusted with such great resources that you’re going to need God’s wisdom in order to distribute it the right way. God prepares before he places you in position, and you need to be glad 'cause some of us want something, but you’re not prepared for it yet. But before the end of February, you will be, 'cause all it takes is the change of a mindset and a shift in direction. Can I get an «Amen»?
To the man, man, this is super important. Write this down: God works in stages-not all at once. Y’all get back to the Super Bowl about eight or nine years? I’m joking. God works in stages. Creation was a process. Malachi, creation was a process. Did you know that God didn’t do it all? God could have said everything, «Show up!» He’s God; he could have done it that way. He chose an intentional process over time to give us a template for how to operate in the earth he created for us. So creation was a process, with each day revealing another step of God’s grand design. God moves in stages. You need to get this in your spirit: He moves in stages. Stop trying to rush God.
«God, when you going to…?» I wish… «When you…?» I’ve got it. More importantly, I’ve got you, and I’ve got your best destiny in mind. So if you feel like I’m holding you back, it’s because I am; and I’m holding you back because I love you too much to let you go into the thing that you want, and you’re not ready for it.
Watch this: and sometimes, even if you’re ready for it, it’s not ready for you. So I like bananas, but I like them when they’re still green. I like them when they’re still… I don’t like yellow bananas 'cause then the black’s going to come, and it’s going to be… and it’s going to rot. Yeah, I like the green bananas; some people don’t like them. Why? 'Cause they’re not ripe. I’m getting ready to help somebody. Some of y’all are choosing green bananas, and you’re not ready to digest it. It’s not ripe; it’s not ready. You might be hungry, but that prematurely will not benefit you the way you think it could.
All right? The point is this: there are some things that you want, but it ain’t ready for you. Even if you’re ready for it, so you’ve got to wait for God to finish that process. And when it’s ripe and ready, God will reveal it. Boy, that’s good. That’s good!
Number three: Write this down-everything has a purpose. Everything God created was good. Everything- the roaches were good, mosquitoes were good. I don’t understand that; boo-boo was good. I don’t know why he did what he did. Everything has a-everybody say, «Everything has a purpose,» including your heartbreak, including the breakups, including the bad relationships. Everything has a-every tear has a purpose. All the people that you dated, and now all men are dogs? No, just the men you chose, and you keep choosing them. So maybe there’s something God’s trying to get you free from so you choose differently. But every season, every moment has a purpose. Every creature and element was created according to its kind. Each had a role to play in the ecosystem of creation.
Watch this: according to its kind. Some of y’all are trying to build with somebody that’s not of your kind. God’s not going to let it be built because they are not of your kind. Ask the Lord for new business partners. Ask the Lord for discernment so you can have new eyes open for the people around you 'cause everybody smiling is not your friend. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom. Everything has a purpose; nothing is random. God has a defined purpose for everything-including us.
Number four: God is a God of order. We’ve been talking about this all year. God is a God of order. We’re almost done; thank you for your patience. The sequence of creation reflects divine order, with every aspect serving a function before moving to the next. God did everything in order. Your life is actually in order, and here’s a dangerous prayer: «God, if there’s anything in my life out of order, watch this. Don’t take it; put it in order!»
Right? Anything that’s out of-watch this-out of order doesn’t mean it doesn’t work at all; it’s not working right now. You’ve been to a vending machine, and it says «out of order.» The candy is still in there, but the mechanism to understand how to push the lever and do all something is not working with-there. What carries the product is fine, but the thing holding it is out of order. There are some of your blessings that are held up, but the person holding it is out of order. So you’re not going to be able to get the blessing and the benefit of the thing that has your name on it till it gets in order.
I know you want to be married. Living with him is not the order. Well, I know we Christians, but even though we not married, I think we should sleep together? You want to ride the car before you buy the car? No! The devil is a lie! This is not CarMax; you’re not going to sit up here and try me out. You’re going to do this God’s way. Don’t expect God’s blessing, and you’re not doing it God’s way. Living with someone that you are not married to as a Christian is not only unwise; it’s ungodly. Sleeping with someone that you are not married to is sin. I know you don’t like it; I don’t care. I’ve got to preach the Bible.
God is a God of order; he ain’t blessing nothing that’s out of order. I don’t care what you say; I don’t care. I’m in love. I don’t care if you’re in love; if your love includes sin, then your love is distorted. And if you’re with him and he tells you he loves you while trying to actively sleep with you, when you know, and he knows you’re a Christian, then that’s not love; that’s lust. And that’s not love from God; that’s a user. And if he’ll use you now…
It’s real quiet in here; I’m talking good. Somebody say «Order! Order!» The sequence of God’s creation reflects divine order. With every aspect serving a function before moving to the next, we’re going to court. You’re going to meet my parents. If my parents aren’t alive, you’re going to meet my covering. If I’m your pastor and you’re talking about getting married, and then you come up and send me an invitation asking me to come do your wedding, and I never met the person you’ve been spending time with, don’t ask me. Don’t ask me to bless something, and I don’t know what’s going on. I don’t know what he believes; I don’t know what y’all been doing.
No, no, no, no. Because we’re going to do it God’s way. Don’t spray perfume on a doo-doo sandwich; it’s not going to work. Don’t try to put the Bible on top of it after you made it. Let the Bible make it, and let the Word make it, and let God bless it. Yeah. Yeah.
Number five: This is super important. Number five: There is power in the spoken word. Everything God created except us, he created with his mouth. Then he had a conversation about making us; then he made us with his hands. But everything else he spoke. God spoke creation into existence: «Let there be,» and it came to pass. His words carry the power to bring forth life.
What’s the nugget for you? Your words carry weight. Watch what you’re saying this season. «I’m a millionaire.» Excuse me, billionaire. Sorry, trillionaire! Also, have dominion! Thank you! We’re made in His image, and what we speak over ourselves and others has power. Watch what you say to yourself in the mirror. If the Bible says you’re fearfully and wonderfully made, you should just repeat the Word. Look in the mirror: «I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am amazing. Would you look at me! I’ve never seen nobody this handsome in all of my-girl, you better-if you’re looking at yourself-girl, you look good today! You killing them today! If you see some baby hairs out, get the toothbrush, put them back down with some gel, and watch what you say in this season. In the same way God spoke and it came to pass, what you speak is going to come to pass.
Number six: Humanity is distinct and set apart. Unlike animals, man was created in God’s image. The beast of the field…they were created from his imagination. We were created from his image. This sets mankind apart, giving us unique value, identity, and responsibility. What’s the nugget? We’re not accidents. There are no random accidents; there are no random accidental humans. You can’t look like God accidentally. He wanted you to come into the earth; he wanted you here right now. He wants you to take dominion, and when you do less than that, it hurts his heart because you have the backing of heaven. Just open your mouth.
Number seven, and I’m almost done. We’re done. Dominion requires stewardship, not exploitation. There are too many people who, when they get into their season, act a complete fool. They get a little bit of blessing, stop speaking to people, mean unkind. I want you to practice humility and gratitude. When the stress of worrying about how you’re going to pay bills is gone, walk with a little bit of peace and be kind to people. I’m just talking to the billionaires in the back that’s getting ready to get up and leave. Listen to me: when God sends you $100 million, after you tithe-yeah, that’s right-and give offering, take $30 million, put it over here in a fund, and let it accrue interest. Then bless homeless shelters with the money from the interest; the principal never changes, and that money will be there because Jesus said, „Poor people, you’ll always have with you.“
You’re not going to eradicate hunger; you’re not going to eradicate poverty. Jesus said, „It’s always going to be here,“ and it’s always going to be here because I want the church to be what it’s supposed to be. People like social security are going to be gone; they cutting all the programs. That’s why the church-Lord, I’m fighting today, man. I really need your help. Are y’all hearing me? Don’t think there’s going to be a check for you in 30 years from a government that can’t even sustain itself. They’re trillions of dollars in debt, sent billions to Ukraine, and they could have taken half of that money and eradicated poverty in this country for kids who can’t get school lunch. Come on here; they make money when they want to. That’s why the church has to be the ones to feed the poor. He didn’t ask the government to do it; he asked the church to do it.
He didn’t ask the government to take care of widows and orphans; he asked the church to do it. He did not ask for the government to take care of the children. „Let the little children come to me, for such is the kingdom of heaven.“ We have been outsourcing to the government what God wanted the church to do. Elderly people in our church should have their rent paid for, mortgage paid for; they should never have their heat cut off in the winter. That’s the job of the church.
All right, never mind; it’s time to go. Come on, stand up 'cause I see y’all don’t like me today, but I’m going to preach. Come on, stand up! Oh, you want me to preach it? Oh, now you want me to preach it? Do the people want the Word? I said, do the people want the Word? Hit me! One, two, three, get up!
Okay, last point. You can stand for the last point. Dominion requires stewardship — number seven-not exploitation. God gave man dominion not to abuse creation, but to steward it with wisdom and care. Man of God, your wife is not your possession; you are called to steward her. Prophet, priest, protector, provider. The reason why the woman is the wed man is because she takes what you give her in seed form and she produces. That’s why you got to prophesy: prophet, priest, protector, provider. Because what you sow into your wife will grow. Yes, sir!
God in heaven, and many wives won’t tell you, but she’s waiting on you to lead. She’s waiting on… She can’t even shout like she wants, she gonna be in the car crying like, „He was talking to you; that word was for you. I hope you was listening.“ Don’t say that to him, please; God’s already dealing with his spirit. Amen. Lead her in Bible study tomorrow morning before y’all go to work. Take five-let me tell you something: By the time you come home, she going to put it on you so good because you took prophetic leadership of her soul.
Most women, above everything else, want to feel safe. When a woman feels safe, she’ll do anything for you. When her soul is covered, when her spirit is fed, she knows you praying for her, and you got a little thug in you too. So if somebody act stupid at work, you done walked up in there and say, „Where? Who said something? Who? Who say what? What he say? Which cubicle is he in?“ She won’t be able to function the rest of the day; when you get to the house, it’s going to be a blessing waiting on you. I need every man in here to do a Bible study in the morning.
I’m trying to help you. You’re playing the music to make me end? I ain’t a guest here; this is my church. You don’t play no music yet; I’m not done. Point number eight: you can play, God’s blessing commands fruitfulness; that’s the final point. God’s blessing commands fruitfulness. When God blessed mankind, he said, „Be fruitful and multiply.“ The first blessing spoken over man was one of expansion, growth, and abundance. Dad gone; this is good.
Here’s the nugget of wisdom: God’s blessings are meant to produce. We are designed to grow spiritually, relationally, and in purpose. When God blesses us, it is meant to flourish and impact others. Elder Mary, you’re not brilliant for yourself. You didn’t attain to these high levels of academic achievement just so you can sit around on your laurels. You’re actually doing something with what you’ve been given; is that a correct and accurate statement? It would be a horrific dishonor of stewardship to have all of that wisdom and not make it available to other people.
Some of us have gone through so many things that could impact others. Do not allow the shame of your process to mute the power of your testimony. I’ve never done this in seven years, but today I’m sewing my notes into someone who will take this and run. You want them? You want them? Pastor, come here, boy. Can I put it online? I will. You had your hands up; come here.
You don’t know how to do it online; stay right there. Here’s what I need you to do. I have another one here. Oh, that’s the old one from last week. All right, so here’s what we gonna do. Carla, I’m going to need you to print off a few. I want you to get her one; let’s print it. Now you got all my notes-come, come here, let me see this. Hand me this. She takes notes of the sermons, so I’m going to sew my notes into you, and the Lord told me to do that today. I’ve never done that, but he said there’s something on this word-there’s something on this word. Do not leave; I’m going to make sure you get one before we go.
Can you-somebody print them and then stand right over here after church. It might be about five, eight, ten minutes, but if you get a few of them, get a few of them. A few of them, okay? Get a bunch of them if you want these notes. Amen. Who was blessed today? We are going to put it online. Are you sewing? Father, I thank you for the seed that the woman of God sowed into the Word. Now there are miracles, signs, and wonders coming back already.
It’s coming back to you, pressed down, shaken together and running over. Father, I thank you that we don’t just serve here, but we participate and are a part of this church; and I thank you that as she sowed, something was unlocked over her life, and this woman of God and her children will be blessed for generations. Your son and your daughter are about to step into greatness, and I want to tell you this: this was a moment God’s been waiting on to bless your family, and we are so excited that you are here! And other families are coming too. You have already caused multiplication, man of God, as you step that way; more people are coming! Walk right there; take your family, 'cause your family is leading a harvest. Stay right there, my God! Blessings on you!
