John Gray - No Questions Asked
TOPICS: Father's Day

Who’s ready for the word of the Lord on Father’s Day? That sounded terrible. Who’s ready for the word of the Lord on Father’s Day? If you’ll do me a favor, please stand with me while I read the word of the Lord. Stay right there, Dante. I know this is not what you’re playing, but this is what I heard.

The question is, will I ever leave you? The answer is no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. The question is, will I ever leave you? The answer is no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, I love the Lord, for He’s so dear to me, for He died that I might be free. I was asked this question years ago, and the answer is still no.

Father, speak through your word. Thank you for the beautiful souls that represent Love Story Church. Get the glory from this moment! Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! 'Cause I was at home late one night, and the Spirit of Truth asked me what I would do, and I told Him, «Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.» Stay right there, stay right there, stay right there.

And the question is, when will Jesus return? I want you to know, soon. So, Father, I thank you for your presence in this place. All honor, praise, and glory goes to the living King. In Jesus' name, amen, amen, and amen. Can you give the Lord the praise you think He’s worthy of? I said, «Give Him the praise you think He’s worthy of!»

So let the church say amen. Let the church say amen. God has spoken. So let the church say amen. So let the church say amen. Let the church say amen. God has spoken. So let the church say amen.

Luke chapter 15, Luke chapter 15, reading from the New King James Version. Luke chapter 15. I just need you all to know that right now it’s 11:35. By this time next week, you all will be going home. Can you believe it? Service will be…oh ye of little faith! I can’t stand not one of y’all. I believe! Thank you, son; he said, «I believe it, Pastor.» The rest of y’all, like, «Say amen!»

Luke chapter 15, at the 11th verse, then Jesus said, «A certain man had two sons,» and the younger of them said to his father, «Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.» So, he divided to them his livelihood. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living.

Let’s freeze. Because many times we mischaracterize this story, Elder Rebecca. They call it the prodigal son. It didn’t say he was a prodigal; it says his living was. You are not what you do. I already feel the Holy Ghost. You know, people want to keep you stuck to the thing you did; they never want you to change, never want you to grow. They’ve got grace for everybody except you.

I’m glad I go to Love Story, where it doesn’t matter what page you walk in on; that’s not the end of the story.

The 14th verse: But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. Now, you have to understand, for those of us who believe in bacon- somebody said glory! How many people believe in bacon? Let me tell you something; there’s nothing better than a wonderful BLT sandwich, premium toasted bread, real mayonnaise-not Miracle Whip — fresh ripe tomato. Ah, yeah! And I don’t want no regular bacon; I’m Bishop Paul Moore. I need thick-cut, brown sugar, and maple-cured. Got to see bacon cut triangularly. Y’all missed that! I need it triangle-cut; don’t give me no straight cut. I don’t need that; I need to see the layers.

But in this culture, for someone to be feeding swine was the lowest possible station of life that he could have gotten to. This was the worst of the worst because, in this culture, swine were a cursed animal, and he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything. But when he came to himself, when he woke up, when he realized who he was, when he realized he’s better than this bootleg relationship, when he realized he was better than that no-count individual who’s been wasting his time, when he realized he was better than this addiction, better than this struggle-when he realized who he was, when he came to himself, he said, «How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger? I will arise and go to my dad, and I will say, 'Dad, I’ve sinned against heaven and before you, and I’m no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants. Just give me a job. I don’t deserve to have your last name or your lineage; just can you hire me? '»

Oh, my God! And he arose and came to his father, but when he was still a great way off…freeze! Aliah, he was a great way off. He was in the process of getting to the father; he hadn’t gotten there yet. Some people think you’ve got to get it all together. I just need you to know, if you’re in the process, the father’s about to take off in your direction. His father saw him and had compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, «Dad, I’ve sinned against heaven and in your sight and am no longer worthy to be called your son.»

But the father said to his servants, «Bring out the best robe and put it on him.» Not just a robe-the best! Somebody say the best! Tell them, «I’m worthy.» Look at somebody and say, «I’m worthy.» That’s right; I want you to say it until you believe it in your soul. Say, «I’m worthy.» Most of us end up in bootleg relationships and situations because we don’t believe we’re worthy of better.

And put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet and bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry, for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to be merry.

It is a familiar passage of Scripture; you’ve probably no doubt heard it many times. The title of my message for the few moments I have with you today is «No Questions Asked.» No questions asked. You may be seated. By this time next week, you’ll be heading to your vehicles. Y’all ain’t got no faith; y’all just so sick of it. Some of y’all going to be like, «I’m starting the clock at 10.» I promise you, I got a countdown at 11:39. I mean, I’m out of here!

I want to tell you again, Happy Father’s Day to every father that’s here. I hope that the day is as fun and enjoyable and as relaxing as you wanted. I hope you eat well. If you’re on some type of restrictive diet, I hope that you come off of it today. I hope you eat whatever you desire. If you want ribs, I hope that somebody blesses you with them. I hope you have a wonderful day.

The only problem with today is there’s no basketball today; it’s tomorrow. The game is tomorrow. I' m gonna say, if Boston loses tomorrow, it’s going to go seven. They better put them away tomorrow. It’s funny; the enemy thought he had you, but you won one. He didn’t realize he should have put you away when he had the chance 'cause now you’re about to win the whole thing. I’m speaking life! There are some people in this room that will be moved to sew into the message. You do what the Lord tells you. You do whatever the Lord tells you. But I have to tell you what the Lord gave to me. Everybody say one more time: «No questions asked! No questions asked!»

You know, depending on what store you go to to purchase retail, they have return policies. Depending on where you go, they have different return policies. Some people let you know, straight up and down, if you buy it, that’s it. There’s no refund, only store credit. That means we’re going to keep your money, find something else terrible in here to wear, Pastor James! But there are some stores that, if you buy something, you leave the tag on it and you have the receipt, then you can bring it back within 30 days, no questions asked.

Now, some of the saints, y’all have not yet graduated to honesty, so y’all wore the outfit. Turn the light back on. What happened to the light? Stacy, tell them to turn the light on. Y’all got mad 'cause I done exposed the devil. You done put that tag inside that dress, put a little piece of mask on there, and you wore it. You told somebody, «Don’t take no pictures in it!» Some of y’all done wore them shoes, but you put something on the bottom so that it wouldn’t scuff them up so you could take them back. You done took those shoes back, and they in there smelling like every corn chip and old pickle! If your feet smell like pickles, you need to get to the altar right now; I will pray for you!

But they want their materials back undamaged, unblemished, because they will be able to sell it to someone else. What’s interesting about our Father is that His return policy is very different than retail. Our Father loves you so much that no matter how you come back, if you come back, He’s going to receive you, no questions asked. Somebody ought to thank God for God’s return policy.

But only people who are damaged goods will worship right there. If you think you’re better than other people, you won’t understand what I’m saying right now. If you think that your stuff don’t stink, you won’t worship right there. If you’re the one that judges everybody else and don’t even look in your own soul to see how far away you are from God, you won’t respond to the next 15 minutes of this message.

But I’m here to tell you today that every human being you will ever encounter is in need of God’s return policy. Every single human being you will ever meet is in need of a Savior, whether they acknowledge it or not. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess. Love Story online community and Love Story Church Greenville, God is going to see to it. Even those who don’t believe are still going to bow. Just because you bowed don’t mean you’re getting into heaven! Some people are bowing, but everybody’s not getting into heaven. So you might as well bow and get in, but the only way you get in is by showing the receipt that the blood has paid.

I don’t know who I’m speaking to, but I’d like to know, is there anybody that knows that the blood has paid for your life? Is there anybody grateful that the blood has paid for your life today? I’m filled up, bro, bro, because the men led worship today! The Men’s Choir sang. I don’t want no little baby dogs- nothing worse than a 68-year-old man with a poodle. Sir, get you a Rottweiler like the one from Martin! The stuff one.

It was an honor standing next to you in the choir today, brother. You hear me? That’s going to stay with me for the rest of my life. I love you, man. I think about the fact that I have two kids. One of them is gone somewhere, but my son is here. And I’m thinking, at what point would I give up on him? You’ve got two beautiful daughters right there. At what point do you say, «Hey, y’all got it»?

At what point do I decide that Theo no longer deserves to be covered by her dad? Pastor Robert, you know we’re in America, and America thinks that 18 is a magic number. All it means is you can vote and go to jail for longer than you could if you did it at 16 or 17. The jail sentences are longer, and you can vote. But 18 is not a magic number. 18 doesn’t equal maturity. 18 doesn’t equal understanding. 18 doesn’t mean you understand relationships. All 18 means is, I still need my mama and daddy. I still need wisdom! I still need insight! I still need learning, nurturing, grace, mercy, forgiveness. But because some of us were not loved as children, we couldn’t wait to get out at 18, and some of us were gone before then.

We incorrectly took that and said, «I’m only responsible for you till you’re 18.» You should be glad God doesn’t hold that same view of you! I need an eight-second praise break! Y’all keep me in prayer; I didn’t get a lot of sleep. I’m healing. Notice how I said that-I’m healing. I did not confess that I’m wounded; I said I’m healing. Here’s what God has taught me: sometimes there’s pain in healing. We don’t teach believers that there is sometimes a process to healing that includes pain.

We want instantaneous, automatic healing with no process! But what testimony is that? You haven’t learned endurance. You haven’t learned patience. You haven’t learned trust. You haven’t learned worshiping in uncomfortable circumstances and dynamics. Let me tell you something: I used to take for granted that I could lift both hands. Now the one that I got, I throw it up! I see you, man of God. If you got two, you might want to go ahead and bless Him with the two you got. If you got two legs, you might want to use them and stand up and bless Him. If you got a neck, you might as well shake it and tell Him thank you! If you have a voice, don’t take it for granted! You might as well bless Him.

You might as well take a moment and stretch 'cause the sermon is halfway done already! But while we’re up, we might as well give God a Father’s Day praise! Glory! For those who are called to intercede while service is going on, I need you to know that I feel the power of your intercession. I’ve been in some considerable pain, and the pain medicine doesn’t actually help the way I’d like. Last night was a particularly difficult time, and I had to prop up this arm on about three pillows.

It’s funny, but I told the Lord, «I love you; I trust you.» I said, «I’m tired, but I know you’re going to give me the strength to get through the service.» And I said, «Just, you know, if you wake me up.» And I need you to know, He woke me up one minute before my alarm was to go off! Just to let me know, «Your alarm didn’t wake you up; I did!»

Y’all don’t hear me in here. I’m my Father’s son! I want you to look at somebody and tell them, «You’re your daddy’s child!» People probably want to stop messing with you because your daddy does not play about you. Your heavenly Father does not play about you! Every time something has come against you, notice that you still came out victorious. Your daddy does not play about you! Put it in the chat feed: «My daddy does not play about me!»

Somebody needs to go ahead and just kind of tap your shoulder, your chest. Just say, «My daddy doesn’t play about me!» Just get a little bit of edge in your spirit! Say it with a smile! Don’t mess with me 'cause my dad doesn’t play about me! Hallelujah! I was trying to figure out, at what point do I stop loving John in theory? At what point do I decide I’m done? Is it 18? 21? 25? They can stay on your insurance until 26, but I just need you to know that you don’t have insurance, but you’ve got a blessed assurance!

Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchased! Purchased! I need you to stop right there-purchased! So, who’s got the receipt? Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood! This is my love story! Oh, y’all don’t want it! This is my song, praising my Savior all the day long! This is my story; this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long! Somebody ought to bless Him right there!

When do I get to stop being a parent and just a casual observer? When they turn 25? 30? I want y’all to take a look at this video real quick. This is the kind of parenting I need y’all to see. Let me know if y’all got it! Tell them to play!

Wai! Let me know! The next seconds, I' ll keep on going! Waiting on him! If this was Baptist, everybody would start clapping. That’s all right; the devil is busy! Victor COA! You can sit down; thank you!

Good morning, sir. Good morning, judge! Mr. Kella, you are charged with a school zone violation. Pardon? You are charged with a school zone violation, which means that you were exceeding the speed limit in a school zone.

I don’t drive that fast, judge! I’m 96 years old, and I drive slowly. I only drive when I have to.

I was going to the blood work for my boy; he’s handicapped.

You were taking your son to the doctor’s office?

Yeah, I take him for blood work every two weeks because he’s got cancer.

You are a good man! You really are! What America is all about! Here you are in your 90s, and you’re still taking care of your family. That’s just a wonderful thing for you!

Well, how old is your son?

63.

Yeah, and he’s still Daddy’s still taking care of him, right?

I only drive when I have to.

You see that young man over there? That’s my son! Now he’s looking at me, saying, «Dad, when you’re in your 90s, you’re going to be driving me around!»

You’re setting a bad example for my kid! You’re putting a lot of pressure on me!

Listen, sir, I wish you all the best! I wish the best for your son, and I wish you good health, and your case is dismissed! Good luck to you and God bless you!

Thank you!

I need you to know that no matter how old you are, your father is still going to come see about you. I need to encourage somebody on this Father’s Day that I don’t care how old you are; your heavenly Father is going to come check on you when you’re sick, when you’re well-60, 70, 80-because God has no grandchildren! God has no grandchildren; He only has children, and He’s never going to leave you or forsake you.

And I need you to know that no matter what moment you have and what moment you find yourself in, your Father is ready to receive you-no questions asked! Somebody say «no questions asked!»

And on this Father’s Day, I just wanted to take a moment to remind all of Love Story Church that every last one of us has been in need of the love of our heavenly Father. And if you haven’t needed forgiveness, then you don’t even understand Jesus until you’ve blown it and had no way back! You don’t understand why the rest of us shout and cry until you’ve failed and could never pay for the mistakes you made!

But the blood paid for it! You won’t understand why we wave our hands and why we sing these songs and why the elders shout the way they do. You don’t understand why the pastors pray like they pray! You don’t understand, Pastor Cromarty, why she has so much passion unless you’ve walked with God and realized that He doesn’t have to deal with you and me. He chooses to deal with you and me out of His love for us.

There is nothing that we offer God that He doesn’t already have! He does not need to deal with us; He chooses to love us. And we can give Him nothing of value, and He gives us everything! Everything! The least I can do is give Him a praise! The least I can do is clap my hands! The least I can do is stomp my feet! The least I can do is live a holy life! The least I can do is give!

For those who have messed up and feel a long way from home, you need to know there’s a seat at the table. Your Father’s got a plate every night, hot, waiting on you! Every morning, breakfast waiting on you! You’re like, «Is that true?» Yeah, that’s true! Because God is a God of restoration!

If you don’t believe me, ask Jesus what was on His mind when He came out of that grave. If you don’t know, then you need to go read your word. While Peter, who had denied Jesus three times and had severed the relationship between him and Jesus, when Jesus got up, He cooked breakfast for the disciples and said, «Peter, do you love me? Feed my lambs. Feed my sheep. Take care of my sheep.» And He restored Peter into right relationship, something Peter could not do on his own. According to rabbinical law, according to the Mishnah, according to the oral tradition of Jewish history, when you deny your rabbi, you are irrevocably cut off, and there’s no way back.

But Jesus, after He rose from the dead, said, «I need to restore Peter because he is not his worst moment.» And when I restore him, he’s going to serve me, and that’s exactly what he did! He served Him so well that when he died, they were going to crucify him. He said, «You can crucify me, but don’t crucify me right side up; crucify me upside down 'cause I don’t deserve to die like my Savior!»

Are you hearing what I’m saying? The son that was caught in prodigal living is me, and you, every man and every woman in here has done something unworthy of God. Well, let me ask this: you might be some liars in here. Does everybody in here know that you are unworthy of the love that you are receiving from God? How many of us know we don’t deserve what we get?

I bind the spirit of entitlement from off your life and off your mind! God doesn’t owe you anything! In fact, He does owe you. He owes you the lake of fire! He owes you no relationship! You should be completely cut off!

But by the blood of Jesus, He has restored relationship! In the bridge between you and Him, there’s one mediator between God and man, and it is the man Jesus Christ-that’s in the Word! If Jesus is the name that you’ve called on, then you can access the forgiveness and the mercy of the Father.

But don’t abuse it! Don’t try to pimp grace because you can’t pimp grace! Grace ain’t no punk! Grace is not stupid! Grace is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is discernment! The Holy Spirit knows if you’re playing or if you’re serious! And if you’re serious, then the Holy Spirit will give you the strength to live a holy life!

But if you’re playing, He’s going to cut you off, and there will be no remedy! But for those of us who needed a second chance and a third chance and a fourth chance and a thousandth chance, when we got that thousandth and first, we decided to turn! God is with us! His living was prodigal, but he wasn’t!

He’s a father that was 96 years old, and my son is 63, but I’ve got to drive him to the clinic! 96 years old, and I’m still taking care of my son!

There’s a movie that I love called «Grumpier Old Men.» Anybody ever seen that movie? Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon! At the end, his dad was sitting on a bench looking out at the lake, and they thought he was just asleep, but he had passed. And I cry every time because I hope to achieve old age, and I believe that I will!

I can’t wait for the angels of God to come get me so I can see my Father face to face! But until then, charge to keep I have and a God to glorify! And my most important task is to love these kids and raise them and be there for them because everybody with my last name is going to heaven!

Y’all didn’t hear what I said! Everybody with my last name is going to heaven! Somebody needs to say, «Everybody with my last name is going to heaven!» Everybody in my household is going to heaven 'cause as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

There is nothing that my son or daughter could do that would cause me to stop loving them! If they were to commit a crime one day-which they won’t-but if they did, I’d put money on their books, and if they did it, I would tell them, «I love you; you’re going to jail, and you should! 'Cause if you weren’t my child, I’d still want you to go to jail for what you did. But it doesn’t change; I’m going to come see you, and I' m gonna be there for you as best as I can!»

Some of y’all don’t realize that while you were in bondage, your Father was still coming to visit you! He put money on your books! He still paid your bills! He still covered you! When you were in bondage, He would still come and rock you to sleep and speak into your ear in your dreams!

Somebody in here knows that while you were in bondage, God still came to visit you! Is there anybody grateful that God didn’t cut you off when you deserved to be cut off?

The Bible says that when the son came to himself, as he’s heading back toward home, his father sees him and he starts running! What a beautiful picture that the father, who had been dishonored, disrespected-the son took his inheritance, saying in essence, «You’re already dead to me, dad!»

To take your inheritance while your father is living in this culture is saying, «You’re dead to me.» But the father saw him because a father’s love doesn’t care about the thing you did. Because the truth is, you came from me, I can’t deny you!

You look just like me! You look like your father! You have the DNA of your father! You have the greatness of the glory of God on the inside of yourselves! But the only way to access it in its fullness is to stay in His presence, to stay in His word, to stay in prayer, and to repent from wicked ways!

The father runs, kisses him on his neck and hugs him, says to his servants, «Get him a robe, get him the best robe!» What does the robe represent? Hurry up! The robe, a ring, and sandals! In Middle Eastern tradition, the robe was symbolic of authority!

I have messed up my life; I dishonored the father! And the first thing my father does is give me my authority back! Then He said, «Give him a ring!"'Cause when you have a ring, that means you have a family crest! When you have a family crest, that means you can handle business on behalf of the family!

Because of the ring, you would stamp things! It was like a signet ring; you handle business. The ring was symbolic of power! So the robe was authority; the ring was power! Give him his power back! Give her her power back!

This is the power of Father’s Day: that your father loves you so much that when you turn, He gives you your authority back, He gives you your power back, and then He gives you sandals! And sandals were a sign of luxury! Not only is He restoring you; He’s not just giving you barely enough; He’s giving you more than enough!

He’s giving you -He’s giving you luxury! He’s letting you rock red bottoms! And the red on the bottom is the blood that you’re walking in! I need 17 people to give God a praise right there! I need you to stand up if you got your robe, your ring, and your sandals! And I want you to give Him a praise if you got your robe, your ring, and your sandals! The robe is authority; the ring is power; the sandals are luxury!

While you’re standing, the last thing I want to say: after squandering everything that the father gave him, I would at least be like, «Where you been?» Some of y’all ask that and your kids been gone two hours! You’re telling me the father didn’t ask, «Where you been? Who you been with? What you been doing? I heard about you!»

You know people get around and have told me you was out here in these streets! The father didn’t ask any questions because the father didn’t care what happened 'cause it didn’t matter! Because the father knew if he just gets back, everything that I have, I’m going to invest to get him back to who I know he actually is!

He didn’t ask where he was because it didn’t matter! Stop asking people every detail about their past! Stay out of people’s business! We don’t know your business! You’re quick to tear everybody else down, but oh, if we knew what you’ve been through, the decisions you made, the porn you used to watch, the weed you used to smoke, who you used to back it up on-all the things you used to do!

You’d probably stop judging people and texting and laughing and tearing other people down! You’d have a lot more grace if you thought the stuff you did was going to come out! Shut up about people 'cause you don’t know what people have been through! You don’t know what people are going through! Nobody wants to fail! Nobody wants to kill their life! Nobody wants to be the subject of your stupid text feed with your goofy friends!

What’s wrong with you? What’s wrong with the church? As much blood as was shed for your sins, you shouldn’t put your mouth on anybody! You have no room to talk about anybody after everything God did to cover your terrible self! You got the nerve to laugh at somebody else’s downfall when you literally one hair weave string away from getting exposed! You ought to stop and thank God that He covered you and forgave you!

You ought to thank Him that you didn’t get the diseases that you were worthy of because of the behavior you were displaying! You ought to thank Him! You ought to thank Him for keeping you instead of laughing and tearing other people down!

You always got somebody else in mind when you read this story; that’s why I know you ain’t caught the story-you’re not an observer; you’re the prodigal! You’re the one that needed to be restored! You were the one doing the dirt; and your father has lovingly restored you and returned you to right relationship!

Give him a robe-authority! Give him his ring-power! And give him some sandals-luxury! No questions asked! The Father wants to receive you! No questions asked! Because of what Jesus did, you can come home! No questions asked!

My nephew is here; his dad would have been 54 two weeks ago, last week. I think about the young man that you are, the young man that you’re becoming. I need you to hear your uncle: I’m so very proud of you! What an amazing young man! Having not had your father in your life, you are a rare combination of love, grace, commitment, and creativity!

And I am certain that if there is a heaven-and there is, and there’s a great cloud of witnesses-and there is, your father is in it, and he sees you and says, «That’s my boy! You carry the legacy so very well!» And I’m proud of you, nephew! And I’m going to say I’m proud of me because the devil wanted to kill me and wanted me to kill myself! He wanted me to give up!

I told Elder Brian today, I said, «I realize now why the enemy wanted me to die: because I’m called to Greenville. I’m called to this region. I’m called to this church because this church doesn’t look like anything else in the region, and it doesn’t function like any other church in the world. We’ve got a different swag on us! We’ve got a different power on us! We have a different robe, ring, and sandals, baby! We’ve got a different authority, power, and luxury! And I need you to know we’re going to walk in all three of them-no questions asked!

And since my Father restored me, I don’t have to answer to you! Did you hear what I said? When the Father restores, nobody that works for Him can say anything! None of the other brothers and sisters can say, „Y’all missed that!“ Uh- oh, I just caught something rare, Pastor Alton!

Uh- uh! I don’t care if other people-other siblings, other people in the body-think you don’t deserve the grace, the mercy, and the restoration! It doesn’t matter because they’re not the Father! It’s the Father’s right to give you the robe, the ring, and the sandals! He chooses! Nobody else!

So if you got the robe, rock it! If you got the ring, use it! If you got the sandals, walk in it!

So if there’s anybody here who needs to come home, the doors of the church are open-no questions asked! Come on down front! If you’re already saved but you want to be a part of this church, come on-no questions asked! If you know that Love Story is the church you need to be a part of, what better Sunday than Father’s Day-no questions asked!

I believe somebody’s walking! Let’s clap! Welcome home! What’s your name?

Kelly! I’m glad you’re home! No questions asked; you got a robe, you got a ring, you got sandals! What’s your name?

Tyrone! Welcome home! No questions asked! I’m glad you’re back! Your father is glad you came home; it was time! The door has been open! Welcome home! No questions asked!

Somebody else needs to come on down here-no questions asked! Anybody else? Look, Ms. Hela, I got extra time on the clock! My God! I’m not even going to use it! Last call, no questions asked! You can come on down here; you can come on and give your life to Jesus, or if you’re already saved, you can be a member.

Hey, Love Story online! Don’t be trying to log off; you ain’t got nowhere to go! If you want to stop just watching and come be a part of the family, text the word „member“ to 95555, and me and Pastor Robert will get on a plane and we’ll fly to your house!

We coming! Some of these people online are going to be shocked when we show up at their house and be like, „We just want to come have some coffee!“

Anybody else? We got three new family members-no questions asked! And many more online-text the word „saved“ to 95555!

Everybody here, before you go, let’s pray this prayer together.

Lord Jesus, it’s me. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is Lord. Thank you for the blood that was shed for me. I receive the free gift of salvation, not through my works but the finished work of the cross. The blood is enough to pay for all my sins.

Now Holy Spirit, come live inside and teach me how to be more like Jesus each and every day. You are my Savior and my Lord.

In Jesus' name, amen, amen, amen!

Welcome home, Kelly! Tyrone, what’s your name?

Pana! Welcome home! You got family now; you are loved-no questions asked!

Hey, let’s celebrate our family as they go! Some of y’all are leaving before the benediction! Give me 30 seconds to bless you!

Let me just bless you! Everybody turn around! I love it! Lift your hands! Next week is 100 minutes or less! 100 minutes or less!

Jordan, pray for you! Pastor, you shook your head! Even you doubt! I’m going to prove all of you wrong! I guarantee that next week’s sermon will be my shortest sermon ever-that’s a guarantee, or your money back!

What I know-don’t say that! But don’t-don’t-anything but Dad’s donuts for dads in the café!

So before you leave, go to the café and get your free donuts, okay? For dads! For dads!

So we got a microwave 'cause you know them Krispy Kremes be right when you put it on about 13 to 15 seconds! It’s 10! 10 makes it perfect!

Though 10 — it depends on the type! If you got a hood microwave, 10 seconds! If you got a commercial microwave, 7 to 13! We got donuts for that; we got the food trucks outside!

We’re going to be hooping at 2:00 or 3:00! Right? Sign up! If you want to be a part, you can sign up at 2, but the games begin at 3!

So don’t forget to come back for that! And next Saturday, our dance production. You have to be here for Love City Dance-it’s going to be amazing! Where is it going to be? Right here in the main sanctuary at 3:00!

And you can go to the website and grab your tickets right now for $20, but on Saturday, they’ll be $25!

So come and support these kids! They have worked so, so, so hard to bring you something excellent on Broadway level and beyond! So don’t forget to support Love City Dance next Saturday, okay?

Listen, can we thank God for the Men’s Choir one more time? I want to say this, and I need y’all to hear me: the highest honor of my life is that God did not give up on me! He did not throw me away! He received me, forgave me, restored me-no questions asked!

My reasonable service is to live a holy life to Him, pleasing! And that’s exactly what He has gotten and what He will get for the rest of my days!

But I want to thank you all for allowing me the honor of being your pastor! I love this church! I love what God is building! I love what God is about to do that we get to announce in just a few short weeks!

Love City! That’s all I got to say! It’s Love City, baby; it’s going down!

May the Lord bless you and keep you; cause His face to shine upon you! The Lord be gracious to you, show you His favor, and give you His peace!

Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before His presence with exceeding joy! To the only wise God be glory, majesty, dominion, and power, both now and forevermore! Amen, amen, and amen!

We love you so much! I love y’all, Love Story! Have an amazing Father’s Day!
