Psalm 106, verse 35 says, "But [they] were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works". They absorbed the customs and traditions of people who are not followers of God. If your family is falling apart, if you've got children going off the rails, if you're not as serious about faith in God as you feel you should be, this might be something you need to consider.
We live in the world and there's not much we can do about that, but mingling with the lost and learning their works and doing what they do, that's going to harm you spiritually. Hang with the lost, do what lost people do, well sooner or later it's obvious, isn't it? Sooner or later you'll be a lost person, yourself. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
