John Bradshaw - You Should Not Be Surprised
Two weeks after she missed out on qualifying for the Rio Olympics in 2016, 100 meter hurdler, Kendra Harrison, won a race in London and broke the world record without even realizing it. The timer malfunctioned; when her actual time was posted, she was not only elated, but genuinely surprised. You'll hear Christians say they'll be surprised if they get to heaven, but that should never be, you should know you have the gift of everlasting life.
John wrote in 1 John 5:13, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God".
Heaven should not be a shock to anyone. Accept Jesus, and then believe you have salvation, because after sincerely accepting Jesus, you have the gift of salvation. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
