John Bradshaw - Words Are Important
Words are important. I think you'd agree with that. Did you ever say something you wish you could take back? Of course, the better thing would be to not say it in the first place. Saying the wrong thing has got a lot of people into trouble, but more than likely no one more so than Moses.
The Bible says in Psalm 106:33 that Moses, "Spoke rashly with his lips". Who hasn't done that? But it was what he said, the way he said it, and before whom he said it. As the leader of the children of Israel, as God's people were nearing the promised land, it clearly wasn't a small thing to God, and if God wouldn't excuse Moses acting that way, it's clear He wants better from you.
Be careful what you say today and how you say it. Let God filter your words. If it doesn't honor God, it's just way better not to say it. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
