They were talking about street lamps, 17,000 of them were installed in Wellington, New Zealand in 2018, but less than five years later they had begun to break off and fall 20 feet to the ground due to metal fatigue. They weighed 33 pounds each. Ouch! There's often danger where you don't expect, it which is why you have to be vigilant in your spiritual life.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:12, "Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall".
You can't afford to ignore spiritual danger, or to think that somehow you are beyond the reach of temptation. It's only as you remain surrendered to Jesus, that you're spiritually safe. Rely completely on Him; if you think you're fine on your own; it's then that you are in real danger. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
