John Bradshaw - We're Going to Try Something
We're going to try something, maybe even sooner than you think. There's one thing people often do which they should never do, and that's seek revenge. After all she had it coming to her, he deserved it, no that's actually never the case. So what we're going to do is take God at His word.
Look at Proverbs 24:29, "Do not say, "I will do to him just as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work". We get revenge because we're weak, or because we're small and a little bit pathetic, but we're going to claim this verse and ask God to do what it says.
Revenge has helped absolutely no one except maybe the devil, who loves to see you lower yourself. Well no more. The next time someone deserves it, you're going to let God enable you to let it go and that will feel a whole lot better. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
