John Bradshaw - I Was With a Woman in Another Country
I was with a woman in a foreign country, I'm not going to mention her name, although I can tell you I'm married to her; it was a warm day and she wanted one of the oranges growing on this trees lining the city streets. I felt like maybe we shouldn't be taking the city's oranges but the trees were loaded, there were oranges on the ground, and so I picked one from a tree and I brought it to her, she began eating the orange and then shared a little with me, it was ghastly, I've never tasted such a bad orange.
The episode reminds me of Proverbs 20, verse 17, "Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel". Crime doesn't pay, you think you're going to get away with something unethical or dishonest, even if you do it'll come back to you in the worst way.
