I was very fortunate, very blessed, I had a wonderful mother, memories of my childhood are filled with pictures of my mother being supportive, comforting, helping, providing, doing, encouraging, ever present, an absolute tower of strength for my father and for us kids. There were seven kids, we didn't have much, my mother was immense.
Proverbs 14:1 speaks about women like my mother, "The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands". Not every mother exists within the same set of circumstances but my life was molded by a loving mother who gave herself, gave herself, gave herself for her family, she modeled the values she instilled, encouraged faith, she was involved in the community; now you might think I think I had the best mother ever, no, I don't think that, I know that.
