John Bradshaw - A Rip-Off
After ripping off customers again and again, a restaurant on the Greek island of Mykonos earned itself a terrible reputation. One group of women were charged $1400 for six plates of pretty ordinary food and when they questioned the exorbitant charges they were intimidated into paying. Staff would laugh openly about the way they basically extorted tourists; the business was fined for its shady practices.
Proverbs 13:11 says "Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor will increase". Stealing might work in the short term but not in the long term, while honest, hard work will always be blessed, greedy, dishonest people have to live with the fact that they are greedy and dishonest which has to be terrible. Treat someone fairly and God's blessing will rest on you, God honors those whose business dealings honor Him. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
