John Bradshaw - The One Who Gives Receives
A well known sports personality recently donated 10 million dollars to a certain organization, others have given in the hundreds of millions. Philanthropists have altered the world but if you can't give millions, you can still give. Here's what God says about giving and givers, Proverbs 11:25, "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself".
The one who gives, receives. Your kindness to others will result in blessing to you, not that you give to get but you can give knowing that blessings will return to you.
Giving on the level you can give is doing the work of God; everyone can participate in helping and blessing others and everyone can enjoy the blessing of God that comes from opening your hand wide towards God, rather than keeping your hand closed. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
