I remember as a kid picking up an apple and wondering if I could throw it as far as an outbuilding on the neighbor's property. I was rather astonished by the velocity with which the small green missile departed my hand and I watched with horror as it sped with remarkable accuracy directly towards the windows on that building.
With a "crack," it rocketed into the narrow frame separating two panes of glass. That was dumb, I even thought to myself, "What was I thinking"? In Proverbs 4:26 the wise man says, "Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established".
"Think about your actions," Solomon says. Think before you say it, before you go there, before you buy it, before you break it, think before you walk away from God, or stop go to church, think it through. When you do, outcomes will be dramatically different. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
