John Bradshaw - Anti-Science?
I've heard people say that church is anti-science. Well of course that can't be true because the church runs schools that teach science. God is the greatest scientist ever so, anti-science, no, but the church does affirm the creation account of the Bible. The question with science isn't whether you're pro or anti-science, it's whether you're pro or anti-bible.
Look at Proverbs 2, verse 6, "The Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding". "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" is right there in scripture. The question you have to wrestle with is, "Will I place my faith in the finite understanding of a human or in the infinite wisdom of God"?
Wisdom and knowledge come from God. You're always better off trusting God's version of a story and that's certainly true with creation, the creation account of the Bible. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
