The advertising industry figured out long ago that website traffic is oftenly wildly exaggerated. Now that's because bots, which are computer programs automatically performing certain tasks, bots are used to falsify data online, so that a website may claim huge numbers of visitors when that's not so, and then companies can charge higher advertising rates due to those inflated numbers.
Businesses, therefore, waste money paying to reach eyeballs that don't exist. If there's a way to game the system, people will find it. God had a very good point when He said, "Thou shalt not steal".
And of course, stealing is closely related to lying and grows out of coveting, kind of pitty isn't it, that kind of thing? It's not "Heat of the Moment" dishonesty; it's calculated, thought out, and planned. "Thou shalt not steal," he Bible says. It's a better world that way. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
