John Bradshaw - How Important Is It
God gave the Sabbath for multiple reasons, among them, so people would not forget that He is the creator. Right in the Commandment it says, "For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day." Exodus 20:11.
How important is it that we remember God is the Creator? Even Christians get caught up in the theory of evolution, which states categorically, that God is not the Creator. Millions of people are drawn away from a God who spoke and it was done, believing instead that the universe just appeared from out of absolutely nothing at all, entirely without God.
Making God so very small has to negatively impact your faith in God. The Sabbath speaks of a Creator, no wonder the devil worked so hard against it. Keep the Sabbath and you're connecting with the Creator of the universe. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
