John Bradshaw - Capable of More
He was in his early 50s when he retired and moved to Twin Lakes, Alaska and then built the cabin he would live in for more than 30 years. He was pretty well self-sufficient, fishing, hunting, and growing, and gathering much of his food. He wasn't a hermit; he traveled to the lower 48 to visit family from time to time; he chose what most people would call a really challenging lifestyle, kept it up into his 80s.
You know most people are capable of more than they can imagine. In your spiritual life, with the spirit of God filling you, there's no limit.
The Bible says God "is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us". That's Ephesians 3:20.
You don't want to place limits on what God can do in your life. Aim high, aim to grow, reach as far as you can reach; God can do it in your life. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
