John Bradshaw - Redemptive
When you're dealing with someone who's done wrong, made mistakes, it's important that you deal with that person redemptively. You want your actions to ultimately benefit that person; especially important when you're dealing with young people. You're working for their redemption.
That's how God deals with people; even the judgments of God are intended to be redemptive. This is from Isaiah 26, "When thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Let favor be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness".
Some people won't give God their attention till they figure out they've nowhere else to turn. Often you don't look up until you get a long way down. Hardships come ultimately for the benefit of people. All God does is intended to be redemptive. All God does is intended to be for your eternal good. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
