John Bradshaw - Superstition, Tradition, and Mysticism

John Bradshaw - Superstition, Tradition, and Mysticism
TOPICS: Every Word

When read this I thought I was reading about dogs; you'll know why; the lactation of Saint Bernard. What does that sound like to you? You're thinking of big dogs on the Swiss border, but no.

The Lactation of Saint Bernard is a painting of Mary holding baby Jesus, and squirting breast milk into the mouth of Bernard of Clairvaux. He's a 12th century mystic; not what I was expecting. He championed the Knights Templar, was a leading figure in the crusades, was apparently involved in miracles, and of course much of that is fiction.

People kept in ignorance back then knew no better. So don't you wonder what has rolled over from those days of superstition, tradition and mysticism to now? Jesus prayed, "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth," John 17:17. If you don't stand on the Bible, you'll be fooled by nonsense. It still happens. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
