John Bradshaw - Sow the Gospel Seed
A woman and her two adult daughters made a decision to accept Jesus as their Savior and be baptized. They told me that 40 years earlier, a kind man from a church in the nearby city, visited their family and studied the Bible with them and showed them Bible teaching film strips. At that time they completed the study and the family decided they wouldn't follow Jesus.
Now 40 years later, mother, two daughters and father who was ill at home all made a decision for Christ. I imagine that in the resurrection that kind man who first studied with them will get a wonderful surprise.If you're sharing your faith, keep sharing; some seeds don't spring up right away.
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations". Sow the gospel seed and trust that it will grow in God's time. I'm John Bradshaw for It Is Written.
