John Bradshaw - The Taj Mahal
There are some well known landmarks in the world that are kind of "eh...", but the Taj Mahal in India: spectacular, it's a mausoleum. Mumtaz Mahal died shortly after giving birth and her grieving husband emperor Shah Jahan, built as the final resting place for his third wife what UNESCO calls one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage. What's interesting, is that on the inside it's nothing much. All the beauty is on the outside.
Second Timothy 2:22 says, "Follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart".
For the Christian it's what's on the inside that matters most. Often when you focus too much on the outside, you lose sight of what's truly important. God looks on the inside. When Jesus has your heart, the inner you is beautiful in God's sight. I'm John Bradshaw, for It Is Written.
