John Bradshaw - It's a Big Job
Hanford Washington was a small agricultural community until it became the site of a major plutonium production plant in the 1940s, assisting in the United States government's defense program.
That challenged decades later is that the Hanford site left behind tens of millions of gallons of radioactive waste, along with other contaminants. The ongoing cleanup is a big job, especially given that the site sits on the banks of the Columbia river. There's great motivation to get the cleanup, costing several billion dollars a year done right.
The very good news is that in eternity we'll have none of that to worry about. God says in Isaiah 65:17, "For, behold, I create New Heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind".
One day soon we'll live in a perfect world. The death of Jesus renews not only hearts, but also this old planet. I'm John Bradshaw, for It Is Written.
