John Bradshaw - For His Sake
Now, what I'm about to say might sound a little convenient, maybe even trite, but this is what God said to Adam, just after Adam and Eve had eaten the fruit that grew on the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.
God said, "do not", and they went ahead and they ate it anyway. But God is so good, that although there would be consequences, there would also be eternal life if they would trust God. And then God said to Adam, "Cursed is the ground for thy sake," Genesis 3:17.
There hadn't even been any falling leaves, but all that would change for Adam's sake. There would be a lot that would be trying, difficult, but for Adam's sake.
Remember, life can be tough and situations can be difficult, but if you approach that in the right Spirit, you grow, your character develops; it's all for your sake. I'm John Bradshaw for it is written
