The devil knows how to manipulate people. A few decades ago women began objecting to the objectification of women, and as a result more enlightened attitudes brought a degree of change to society.
It's fascinating then, that every so often you'll see women quoted as saying that being photographed naked or participating in pornography is empowering. I understand they're speaking for themselves, and not for all women, but the impartial might find it hard to appreciate how that's empowering, and not degrading.
When Satan tempted Eve, he promised her empowerment through eating the forbidden fruit. He said, "For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil" - Genesis 3-5.
